When it comes to fun and games, you can always count on Hasbro to come up with new games to keep the family entertained as well as the classics! Hasbro has a game out called Chasin’ Cheeky (Elefun’s newest friend) that is a ton of fun for the little ones, especially if they like purple monkeys. I actually found out about the Chasin’ Cheeky Monkey at party with Hasbro in Chicago during BlogHer13 in July and I knew that my youngest would want to play with this new monkey.

Chasin’ Cheeky is a silly ring toss game where the players run around the room trying to put their colored ring on the monkey’s tall tail geared for children ages 3+. My son that is 5 thinks the monkey is entertaining. He couldn’t wait to play with it as soon as he found out that I had it.

Here is how the game works:

1. Race to be the first to get your rings on Chasin’ Cheeky’s tail and do the Chasin’ Cheeky dance together
2. Run, toss, and dance with Chasin’ Cheeky
3. Take the banana from Chasin’ Cheeky’s mouth to see the Chasin’ Cheeky dance
4. Place the banana back in Chasin’ Cheeky’s mouth and scatter your rings to play again

There are days when you just have to have a cup of coffee. Or maybe two or three. For those of you that prefer to go out and get a cup of hot coffee instead of brewing one at home but hate the price tag that comes along with those fancy coffees, I have the perfect solution. This weekend I discovered the Rubi Kiosks when I went to grab some groceries at Walmart. These are red kiosks like the ones we now use to rent movies with, but these red kiosk pour delicious hot and FRESH coffee that is convenient. Not just any coffee either, my new friend Rubi has Seattle’s Best Coffee.

When I first seen the coffee kiosk I was a little skeptical. When it comes to coffee, I tend to be a little picky. Once got closer to the machines I started to get excited. There is a variety of flavors of coffee to choose from. They also have hot chocolate which is a huge bonus. When it gets a little colder I will be definitely grabbing a hot cup of coffee to keep me warm while I am shopping.

This weekend I tried the Cafe Vanilla flavor on National Coffee Day. I then went back last night and grabbed a cup of the Cafe Mocha. I think that both of these flavors where yummy! I didn’t have to personalize the coffee either, it was delicious without having to add anything. The beans are grounded right when you make your order. For those of you that like extra flavor you have the option to customize your cup with some milk and sweetener options too!

I can’t believe that the kids and I have been back in school for over a month now. I am enrolled full time this semester and this school year all four of my children are back in school. The days have went by fast, been a little hectic but definitely on a good start for everyone.

Let’s talk about SCHEDULES! This school year my son goes to school for only a few hours, one daughter is in an after school program, another one is in sports and another one in student government that needs to be at games and school events. If you have kids in school, what do you keep handy for quick cleanups?

There are many days when it is sunny outside that you will catch me wearing long sleeves. Not because I am cold, because I want to protect my sun from the skin. There are so many people that have skin cancer or going to get skin cancer that is scares me. I used to use a tanning booth to get color on my skin until I read a magazine article on a flight home last year about a young lady that got skin cancer from continuous use of those lights in the tanning bed.
