Why I Love Shopping At Zappos!

This school year I saved a ton of time shopping online at Zappos. Although I wish I had ordered more clothes, being able to shop online for shoes for the whole family at one placed saved me time and money. When you have four kids with different wants, taking them store to store to find their size isn’t always fun. Shopping online for shoes makes life easier for me!

Some of my son’s favorite outfits this school year are the items that I purchased on Zappos like the Volcom Kids Splitsies S/S Tee.

He likes to wear this shirt to school and most importantly his basketball clinic class! He likes to dress in style when he is shooting hoops on the court!

With the holidays coming in just a few months, I have already been thinking of things I would like to add to my list to Santa this year. I wouldn’t mind a new pair of pink Nike Air Max Tailwind 6 shoes.

Or maybe a CUTE purple pair of the Nike Lunarglide 6 shoes. Both of these are shoes that I would love to have. I love the Nike brand and the Zappos website has so many different styles and colors of Nike shoes. I want to start going back to the gym and a good pair of shoes that are CUTE are important to have!

I will definitely be doing all of my back to school shoe shopping again next year on the Zappos.com website. I like that you can find a huge variety of name brand clothes, shoes and other accessories in one store as well as FREE & FAST shipping. I also really LOVE that they carry one of my favorite brands, COACH! I am in need of a new purse and might just have to splurge on the Zappos website for something new!

Meatless Stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe

One of my favorite things to cook is stuffed bell peppers. I am picky about my bell peppers though. I like to use organic bell peppers that are fresh and large in size. What I like about shopping at Safeway is the produce. Compared to the other grocery stores that I shop at for groceries, Safeway seems to have the BEST and also their produce last longer than the two grocery stores that are closer to me….

DIY Princess Birdhouse Craft

This summer the kids and I had fun painting our own birdhouses. Since my favorite colors are pink and purple, I thought it would be fun to create a pretty princess themed birdhouse that my daughters would think was cute.

I bought all the supplies below at Michaels for under $10. The unpainted birdhouse was only $1. Score!

Since my son loves owls and was going to be painting a birdhouse too, when I seen these cute wood painted owls at Michaels I had to grab a package of them and add one to my birdhouse.

With just a few colors you can make the birdhouse look like it was fit for a princess bird!

I only added the glitter paint to the top, but it might look even prettier with a final coat of glitter over all the colors.

This Princess Birdhouse Craft is both fun to do and inexpensive. There are other styles of birdhouses at Michaels for only a buck too!

Cute & Fun Stuff For The LalaLoopsy Fans #TeamLalaLoopsy

When you are raising daughters you hope that they enjoy the days of being a kid and not try to grow up so fast. My daughter Hannah is my youngest daughter who enjoys playing games with her brother, but she also likes to play with girly toys like the cute Lalaloopsy dolls that I received to review.

When I received an email to become a Lalaloopsy Insider, I couldn’t wait to tell Hannah. I asked her now that she is 10, did she still like the Lalaloopsy girls and she said yes. She was so EXCITED when she found out that not only were we going to receive some dolls, but we are also going to receive the Lalaloopsy Baking Oven too!

When I told Hannah it was time to cook with the new LalaLoopsy Baking Oven she couldn’t wait to take it out of the box. I will have to admit it was fun helping her take the stuff out the box. It reminded me how much fun I had when I was a child with my very own little oven.

One thing I love about my kids is their desire to cook like mom. All of my kids see me always in the busy enjoying cooking so it is something they enjoy learning and helping out with too. When it comes to baking, Hannah doesn’t get to use the oven in the kitchen on her own, but she is able to use the Lalaloopsy Baking Oven without my supervision.

This weekend Hannah had a blast making cookies and a cake for her and her brother.
