Lolly Wolly Doodle Review

For those of you with school aged children, the new school might have started already or might be starting soon! All four of my children officially started the new school year last Thursday and have enjoyed putting together new looks with their new school clothes each day.

This year my daughter Hannah has a new received a new dress from Lolly Wolly Doodle that she LOVES to wear. I received this cute dress for review and she wore it to our tea party we hosted this month because there was no way she was waiting for school to start to wear it.

When I opened the package and seen the dress, I knew Hannah was going to love it. She is one of those girls that enjoys dressing up in dresses and getting pretty. I was also impressed on the quality of the dress as well as the size. With my daughter is is sometimes hard finding clothes that fit her shape. This dress fits and has room for growth.

What makes this dress even more special is the monogram on the front. This dress was customized with Hannah’s initials in cute pink scripture.

This is just one of many CUTE dresses from Lolly Wolly Doodle. They also carry outfits for babies, boys, other adorable outfits for girls and they even have a section of items for moms! You will find that you personalize most of the items on their site by adding a cute monogram like I had done on Hannah’s dress to make custom clothing for your children.

Reebok Running Shoes At Famous Footwear

This month I was on a mission to find some CUTE Reebok shoes that I had seen online. There are actually a few different pairs that I wouldn’t mind having. I went to a few different Famous Footwear stores in search of these shoes….

Now I probably should have ordered these shoes online, but I honestly like to try on clothes and shoes before I buy them. My foot is more on the wide-width side and I have a flat foot, so running shoes are something I try before I buy.vSo as I mentioned before I was on a mission to find these cute shoes and at each Famous Footwear store I found Reeboks for the guys. Well some of these I would say that both men and women could wear, but nothing with the PINK like I was hoping for.

So after going to a few different stores, I figured that I might was well give up. I had my husband and son with me and decided that I would spoil them with a pair of shoes. It had been a while since my husband had a new pair of running shoes, so I told him to pick out a pair of the Reebook running shoes for men.

After discussing which of the Reeboks look best, my husband decided on the Reebok Zig Kick in the Black/Silver. He was so excited about getting these shoes that he wore them out of the store, along with my son that scored some shoes too!

Even though I was not able to find the women’s Reebok shoes that I wanted, I am not giving up. I LOVE that Famous Footwear is always having sales and I will be going back soon to look for these shoes again. Or if I can’t find them, I can always shop for these on the Reebok website.

As for the shoes, my husband LOVES them. He says that they are the most comfortable and lightweight running shoes he has ever wore. I personally think they are stylish and would look cool whether you are running or just wearing them as your regular daily shoes. They have a pair of this same style in the Black/Red color too! I have been getting shoes at Famous Footwear since I was a kid. My mom used to take me there on the Buy One Get One 50% OFF sales so that she could get me two new pair of shoes for a good buy. I LOVE that Famous Footwear still has these sales because when you have four children to buy school shoes for, these types of sales help to save families money!

Kohl’s For Your Back To School Needs

This month I made a trip to Kohl’s to get some clothes for Hannah for school. In the past I have always been happy with Kohl’s as they always have CUTE stuff whenever I go. They also have great sales and I love that you can earn Kohl’s Cash on your purchases so that you have even more money to spend on your next shopping trip.

This year instead of taking all the kids shopping together, we did shopping for each of the kid’s individually. My oldest two can be picky and like to shop at the mall. Sometimes it is just best to give them money and let them go shopping. As for my two youngest, I can shop at the more affordable stores and I can pick and choose what they are going to wear. I had received a gift card to Kohl’s, so I knew that I could find some really cute clothes at great prices for Hannah.

Just as I thought, we found a TON of clothes on sale and on clearance. Since I am a bargain shopper, I always hit these items first!

As we went through the clothes in the Girls department, Hannah was having fun picking out cute tops and bottoms that she thought would look good.

Even though we did spend most of our time looking for clothes at Hannah, I wouldn’t have been happy not taking a peek at the stuff on sale throughout the rest of the store. For those still needing to go shopping for your kids that are going back to school, Kohl’s not only has cute clothes, they have a variety of backpacks, lunch pails, jewelry and more. For those of you with teens, they carry cosmetics and fragrance too!

So at the end of our shopping trip, I spent a little over $100 for 6 outfits. I also received $20 in Kohl’s Cash that we have already went back to the store and used it for even more back to school finds.

Since I have only one son, he happens to be the one here that has his own room. When it comes to going to bed, not always does he want to sleep in his room by himself. He normally has one of his stuffed animal friends that keep him company when it is time for bed. When I met up with the Cloub b, the creators of the cute products that help children sleep, I knew my son would love their products, especially the Nighty Night-Owl.

My son really loves birds. One of his favorite types of birds would happen to be an owl. When we received the Cloud b Nighty Night Owl to review, he was excited. Even though I wanted it for bed time, there was no way I wasn’t going to let him play with it. He was most excited for bedtime though!

T3 Source Hand Held Shower Filter Review – #T3Source

T3 Source Shower Filter A little over a year ago we replaced the shower head in the bathroom. We went from a hand held shower head to the regular shower head that you can’t hold by hand. At that time I was excited to have the new shower head in place but about a month or two later, I started missing the old one.

This past month we received one of the T3 Source Hand-Held Shower Filters to review. Since I live in an area that has BAD water, I was excited to install this new filter because it would be filtering the water I use to take a shower each day. We normally filter our drinking water in the kitchen and hadn’t put much thought in the water that comes out of the shower. I think that it is a clever idea for a shower head to provide you with clean water to bathe with.
