When it comes to my kid’s toys, I really prefer them playing with toys that are educational… Toys like fun cash registers like this one below.
We received one of the Tolo Cash Registers for review. While this toys says it is geared for children 12 months and up, my son who is five has been enjoying playing with it. He now has a cash register to use when he wants to play “store” with his sister.
Here is some of the features:
- Credit card swipe, complete with credit card.
- Coloured lights flash when credit card is swiped, along with sound.
- Register includes play money.
- The drawer rings when opened.
My son really loves to pretend like he is a store manager. He loves to put the money in the register but really loves to swipe the plastic credit card!

When we received the Go!Go! Smart Wheels Garage Playset from VTech my son was anxious to get it out of the package. He happened to see it before I had a chance to hide it and I actually made him wait… I seen his excitement and used it a toy that I could reward him with. He started kindergarten in August and I told him that if he got a good report from his teacher, that he could earn this cool playset. This past Friday we got his report card and it was great!
This past weekend I happily put together his new Go! Go! Smart Wheels Garage Playset. I am one that doesn’t really like to put toys together that have a ton of pieces and was happy when I read the directions and seen it was easy and only going to take a couple minutes.
With this VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Tow & Teach Garage your child can drive, park, play and learn. This playset has an interactive garage that includes a spiral ramp, a traffic stop, gas station, an elevator, parking pad and helicopter landing pad. The set includes one Smart Wheels electronic tow trick and you have the option to purchase 6 other Smart Wheels vehicles to use with it.

I have been a fan of Hot Wheels since I was a little girl. I wasn’t too much of a tom boy but I did love to play with cars! Toy cars were fun but video games that simulate driving a car FAST has always been fun too! I will never be too old to play some race games!
All of my kids have their own Nintendo DS and 3DS game systems as my whole family loves to play games! Let’s just say I was a little excited to get a copy of the Hot Wheels World’s Best Driver for the Nintendo 3DS game system to check out.

Since I enjoy playing video games that involve racing and driving, I think this game is fun. I think it would be more fun if I was able to play it on a large screen. My son who is only 5 wanted to give the game a try. He said he liked it but it was kind of hard.

My kids happen to LOVE games. I think my daughter Hannah might have enjoyed the iTunes app/game a little more than the doll but right now her and her brother LOVE games. They enjoy the games where you have something in real life that you can turn into reality online or through a gaming device. I just wish they would have had this type of technology when I was a kid!
