What if you could earn extra money from social media content you have already created?

As a blogger, content creator and UGC creator, I am always interested in finding legitimate ways to earn more from the content I am already posting. That is why I decided to try the Reco Social app.
After connecting my social media content to Reco Social, the app began importing some of my existing posts. I did not have to create an entirely new batch of content just to get started.
So far, my Reco Social balance has reached $15.58—and that includes small content earnings that continue to appear in my account.
While I am not making a full-time income from it, I like that it gives me another possible way to monetize work I have already completed.

What Is Reco Social?
Reco Social is a social recommendations platform where people can discover products, restaurants, movies, places and other recommendations found in social media content.
For creators, one of its most interesting features is the ability to connect and import existing social media content. Reco uses its technology to identify products, places and other recommendations featured in a post.
According to Reco, creators may earn based on engagement with their content, including views, saves and clicks. You do not necessarily need a large following to begin participating.
How Does Reco Social Work for Creators?
Getting started is relatively simple:
- Download the Reco Social app.
- Create your profile.
- Connect your eligible social media accounts.
- Allow Reco to import or analyze your content.
- Review the posts added to your Reco profile.
- Continue sharing content and monitoring your earnings.
I connected content from platforms I was already using, including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. This was appealing because I already create content about products, fragrances, beauty, crystals, pets and everyday finds.
Instead of letting those older posts simply sit on my social media accounts, Reco gives them another opportunity to be discovered—and possibly earn money.
How Do You Make Money With Reco Social?
Reco states that creator rewards are based on overall engagement. This can include actions such as:
- Viewing your content
- Saving recommendations
- Clicking on items
- Engaging with the recommendations found in your posts
This means a purchase may not be the only action that counts toward content earnings.
Earnings will likely vary based on your content, activity and the amount of engagement your posts receive. The individual content payments I have seen are small, but they can gradually add to the total balance.
Reco Social also displays opportunities to earn by downloading and playing mobile games or completing specific milestones. Those offers are separate from the content earnings discussed in this review. Always read each game offer’s requirements carefully before downloading anything or making an in-app purchase.
How Much Have I Earned With Reco Social?
At the time I am writing this review, my current Reco Social balance is $15.58.

My Reco Social wallet showing a $15.58 balance. Individual results will vary.
The screenshot also shows a recent content earning of three cents. These are not huge payments individually, but I appreciate seeing my balance increase from content I had already created.
My account currently shows that I must reach $50 before I can cash out. Because I have not reached that threshold yet, I cannot personally review the withdrawal process or payment speed.
I will update this article after I qualify for my first cash-out.
Do You Need a Large Social Media Following?
Reco Social says there is no minimum follower requirement to begin earning creator rewards.
That makes the app worth exploring for:
- Bloggers
- Social media influencers
- UGC creators
- Product reviewers
- Lifestyle creators
- Food and travel creators
- Anyone who regularly shares genuine recommendations
You may already have useful content even if you do not consider yourself an influencer. A video about a favorite perfume, restaurant, book, household product or pet item could potentially become a recommendation on Reco.
What I Like About Reco Social
The biggest advantage for me is the ability to get more use from content I have already created.
Other things I like include:
- It can import existing social media content.
- You do not need a huge following to get started.
- The app can identify recommendations within posts.
- Content can potentially earn from engagement.
- It creates another place for older posts to be discovered.
- Joining does not require me to negotiate a brand partnership.
As someone who already produces content for several platforms, I am always looking for ways to make each post work harder. Even small additional earnings can add up when combined with my other blogging, affiliate and UGC income.
Things to Consider Before Joining
Reco Social is not a guaranteed source of income, and it should not be treated as a way to make money quickly.
Before signing up, keep the following in mind:
- Content earnings may be only a few cents at a time.
- Your results will depend on engagement and other factors.
- The current cash-out minimum shown in my account is $50.
- It may take time to reach the withdrawal threshold.
- Game rewards may have separate eligibility requirements and milestones.
- You should review the app’s current terms and privacy information before connecting your accounts.
I also recommend checking your wallet and imported content periodically rather than assuming everything will earn automatically.
Is Reco Social Legit?
Based on my experience so far, Reco Social is a functioning app that has credited real content earnings to my in-app wallet.
However, my balance has not reached the $50 cash-out minimum, so I cannot yet confirm my personal experience receiving a payout.
That distinction is important. I can show that I have accumulated $15.58 in the app, but I will reserve my final opinion about the payment process until I successfully withdraw my earnings.
Is Reco Social Worth Trying?
Reco Social may be worth trying if you already create social media posts featuring products, places, food, entertainment or other recommendations.
It is especially interesting for bloggers and creators who want to explore additional ways to monetize content they have already made.
I would not join expecting to earn hundreds of dollars immediately. Instead, I see it as another small income stream that could complement blogging, affiliate marketing, UGC work and other creator opportunities.
Since the app can use content you already have, the initial time commitment may be relatively low.
