When I am shopping for groceries and I have my two youngest children with me, they almost always ask me for one of the lunch type meal kits in the refrigerated area (she can mention a brand here if she wants). I do like to be the cool mom sometimes but I really prefer to pack my kids their own meal so I know what they are actually eating.

I was excited to find out about Revolution Foods, a company founded by two moms on a mission. A mission that has been igniting a healthy food movement in schools nationwide. I haven’t seen these yet but I will be definitely be grabbing one of each variety for my son to try. He is currently in kindergarten and has to bring a healthy snack each day. What types of snacks or lunches do you send to school with your children?

While I often cook with chicken, I also cook with beef. I use ground beef with my tacos and spaghetti and hamburgers but this mom also enjoys a good steak every once in a while too! One of my favorites steaks would have to be the Filet Mignon.

I received two 8oz Bacon Wrapped Filets from Nolan Ryan’s All Natural Beef and they were delicious….

I also received a bottle of the Nolan Ryan Signature Steak Seasoning and two 10oz Ribeye Steaks that also tasted great.

I actually received the Filet/Rib-eye Combo that also includes a package of Nolan Ryan’s Fully Cooked Sliders. I used the sliders along with some bagels to make Bagel Burger Sliders! I love that these were already cooked and I just had to heat them up, add some bread and my favorite condiments.

I just love these products that I received and I wish that they sold them at my local grocery store. I have been wanting to try those bacon wrapped filets again ever since I made them. They were seriously that good!

Nolan Ryan’s fresh beef is 100% All-Natural. While there are many definitions of “all-natural,” our beef goes beyond the minimum standards of USDA’s definition of minimally processed with no additives or preservatives. Our definition specifies how cattle must be raised and the steps we take to ensure a high quality product at a great value.

I don’t know about you, but I have got a few kids here that are really looking forward to Christmas in a couple weeks. Like all other children, they are hoping for new toys and games to keep them busy throughout the year.
