Cute Clothes For The Spring At Osh Kosh

When it comes to shopping for clothes for my 6 year old son, I LOVE the choices at Osh Kosh. This past weekend we took my son to Osh Kosh to find some new clothes for Spring. While we were in the store my son found a shirt that he insisted on having.

This section was in the baby boys clothes section and the largest size on this one was a 5T. I tried telling him that they didn’t make it in his size which is only a 6T. Even though he does have clothes that are a 5T that still fit, I didn’t want to buy anything new in that size. But I did. I gave in.

He even begged to change it in the store. The friendly clerk said it was fine. 🙂

In this picture below my son is rocking the OshKosh B’gosh “King of the Playground” Boys Tee. I love that it is long sleeved but also lightweight. His jeans our also Osh Kosh as well as his shoes.

My son LOVES the boys hoodies from Osh Kosh. I think I might have got him every one from this season. He has a red hoodie, light blue hoodie, dark blue and a couple of the grey ones.

I went to Osh Kosh with a $100 gift card to spend. I ended up getting my son two pair of pants, a pair of shorts, two boys hoodies and three shirts with the card. I only went over a couple bucks. I was once again impressed on how far a $100 can go at their store.

I went there for some Sprint clothes but you got to check out the deals on the clearance racks too! Osh Kosh seems to have the best deals in the clearance racks!

Again, my son LOVES the Osh Kosh hoodies. He has one for every day of the week!

When it comes to gifts for Valentine’s Day, I know I wouldn’t mind receiving a nice set of perfume. I love smelling pretty and I love perfumes that come in pretty bottles.

I have been using the Killer Queen By Katy Perry for Women Gift Set. This is now one of my FAVORITE perfumes. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the smell and glad this set comes with 2 cool looking bottles. Not that I use a lot, I gave the smaller one to my teenage daughter so that she could smell pretty too. She told me she LOVES it!

If only there were scratch and sniff screens for internet!

One food I have to eat weekly is tacos. There are many Tuesdays where I call out “Taco Tuesday” for an excuse to make tacos for dinner or go out to eat tacos.

Last week I went to Del Taco to try their Turkey Tacos.

I have tried turkey burgers in the past and even turkey dogs but had yet to try a turkey taco. I was a little excited when I heard that Del Taco had turkey tacos and was curious on how they were going to taste.

After I ordered my turkey tacos I was anxious to take a bite but I had to snap my pictures first while the people around me probably wondered why I was taking pictures of a taco. 🙂

The Turkey Tacos are good in my opinion. They remind me of eating a ground taco of course but with the turkey taste. I took the first couple bites without any of the hot sauce. I then finished my taco with their Del Scorcho sauce that I LOVE. It was my first time I think eating hot sauce on anything turkey and I thought it was good.

I brought home a couple tacos for my kids and they didn’t even notice that they were turkey tacos. My youngest said she thought it was a regular taco.

Getting To Know My NEW Epson Stylus Photo R2000 Printer (Review)

I have been the “camera lady” for as long as I can remember. I have had an interest in photography since I was a child. I think my first camera was one of the 110 cameras but I loved taking pictures with a Polaroid. If I wasn’t taking pictures with my own camera I was taking them for my mom or grandma.

One thing about taking pictures back in the day was having to pay to have the film developed. Once the digital cameras came into play, I kind of lost interest in paying to have pictures printed. I figured I could just print them from home on a printer. I have printed pictures, but they didn’t look like a professional print. I have longed for a printer that would print pictures that I could put in a frame and hang on the wall.

And then I received an Epson Stylus Photo R2000 Printer to review. I will be honest. I let it sit in my room for a couple weeks before I opened it. I was so excited about getting the printer that I wanted everything to go perfect when setting it up. I wanted to find the perfect place to place it and I wanted some time when the kids were not home to put it together.

Once I started to put the printer together, I realized it was easier than I thought. I normally hate putting together things that require me to read directions but the instructions for this printer weren’t too bad. After I plugged in the printer, I had to install 8 ink cartridges. I was a little shocked that I had all 8 installed in less than a couple minutes!

After the ink was installed, I installed the software on my printer, loaded a piece of Epson Ultra Premium Glossy Photo Paper and was ready to print a photo. I found a portrait I took with my Nikon D5100 and hit the print button. When it started printing I was so excited.

I was even more excited when it finished printing. I was really thrilled with the quality of the photo it printed that I printed another photo I took of all of my kids on the first day of school. I then had to take a picture of one of my friend’s daughter and print it out to show off what my new printer could do.

The reason I am really excited about this printer is that I took a digital photography class for the last few months and I had to pay to have each of my photo assignments printed. Printing one print may not sound expensive but I had to turn in print assignments every other week and a portfolio at the end of the semester. I used the photo center at Walgreens and was always happy with the quality of the prints I received. I am excited now to have a printer that prints just as good as the professional photo center.

Right now I have only printed 8×10 photos on the glossy paper. I will keep you posted on what else this fun Epson photo printer can do. 🙂
