Red Envelope Review

I just LOVE this month. That would be because today is my birthday and next week is Valentine’s Day. Today I opened a box from RedEnvelope that made my day. If you have not heard of RedEnvelope, it is an awesome online store with unique and personalized gifts. I happen to love giving personalized gifts as well as those unique gifts that you can’t find everywhere. So let’s say I can get lost on the RedEnvelope website trying to pick out which gifts I want to buy, because there are so many choices that I want.

So what was in my box from Red Envelope? The first item in my box was a beautiful Leather Jewelry Box. I so needed this. I have had the same] jewelry box from junior high that an old friend gave me that should have been thrown out a long time ago. Since I LOVE leather, my new Red Envelope Jewelry Box is PERFECT.

The next item in my Red Envelope shipment was something for my husband. I received the leather watch box for my husband. My husband likes to collect watches and this is going to be the PERFECT gift for Valentine’s Day. I am so tempted to give it to him now, but he is going to have to wait. FiberChoice Weight Management Review

When it comes to watching what I eat, I am bad at keeping track of calories, sodium, fiber, sugar etc. Fiber is definitely something I could use more of. For those that need that extra boost in fiber, there are products like the FiberChoice Chewable Fiber Supplements that can help you with your daily fiber intake should you need the supplement. What I like is the different varieties of these chewable supplements. I recently have had the opportunity to review the FiberChoice Weight Management chewable tablets in strawberry flavor. I don’t normally buy or take them as I refuse to drink cough syrup. To my surprise, the FiberChoice Weight Management chewable tablets kind of taste like eating candy. I can take them daily without having that fear of the gross taste that any sort of medicine can leave in your mouth.

Taking these is a great way to add fiber to your diet. Taking two of these chewable tablets is equivalent to 4 grams of fiber. This works for me. The Swiss Colony Valentine Chocolates Review

Just last week there was a day that Swiss Colony made my evening. I happen to be one of those women who LOVE chocolate. When the delivery man dropped off a box of Valentine Chocolates from The Swiss Colony I was tickled pink. My family was lucky that I shared because I really didn’t want to. This box of chocolates is one of those boxes that you want to hide away in you dresser drawer to eat when you want to spoil your sweet tooth. Unfortunately my box of Valentine Chocolates from The Swiss Colony didn’t even last 48 hours. I will show you why….

For someone that loves chocolate, the The Swiss Colony Valentine Chocolates is a little bit of heaven in an adorable heart shaped box. Every single one of these pieces of chocolate are Delicious. You seriously cannot just eat one piece and think you are going to put the box away. I probably gained a pound from splurging. This box includes pieces that vary from Butter Toffees, Macadamia Nut Chocolates and Truffles to Peanut Butter Bites and more. These chocolate candies have a rich texture that I LOVE.

Monster Jam Recap

Last Sunday my husband and I took our kids along with the neighbor’s daughter to the Monster Jam in Sacramento at the Arco Arena. Now this is an event that I have always wanted to go to whenever I see it in town. We watch these trucks on TV and my son has a bunch of the Monster Jam Hot Wheel trucks, I just never had seen it in person. I would say that the Monster Jam was FUN and definitely LOUD.


Out of all the Monster Jam trucks, I LOVE the Grave Digger the best. Out of everyone, I think my son Christopher probably had the most fun. He is a boy and loves these trucks. You should have seen his face when he seen them out in the arena. At first he was afraid because it was loud, but once the show started they had his full attention. About a week prior to this event, we bought the Monster Jam game for Wii. We had been playing the game for the week prior to going to the Monster Jam, so when it was time for the trucks to do their freestyle tricks, it totally reminded us of playing the game.

We are definitely going again the next time they are in town!

Heelys HX2 Review

When it comes to Heelys, my two oldest daughters had to HAVE a pair when they first came out. I remember going to different stores just to find a pair for both of them that was their size and CUTE. My oldest Ariyona had to have the black and pink Heelys and Hailey had to have the white and pink Heelys. I actually have both pair of them years later because my family believes in hand me downs and from what I have seen, Heelys are shoes that are made to last a long time.

Up until  recently I had only purchased Heelys for my daughters, I had never got to try them for myself. I officially now have my own pair and can wheel around my house in. When you have a house with tile floors, these things can be fun (or maybe dangerous in my case). What is cool is the new Heelys HX2 have two wheels to provide stability and balancing easier. Now I used to skate when I was a kid, OFTEN. But skating as an adult doesn’t seem so easy as it was back then. But it can be easy if you have suitable and comfortable skates i.e from WowSkates.


The Heelys HX2 line is a new and perfect for beginners that are just learning to skate. These cool shoes have been built with safety in mind. They allow you to balance which is a must for me. This mom does NOT like to fall, especially in front of anyone.  What makes the HX2 different from the classic Heelys shoes is the two removable wheels in each shoe. Before, you just had one wheel in each shoe. I like that you can take the wheel out and use the cap to make them just a regular shoe too.

Hannah is totally excited that mom has a pair of these new Heelys HX2 like hers. The only difference is our colors. I am rocking the Heelys Jazzy Pink while she is rocking these cool Sparklers. If you have a little one and want a pair, this is great for a Mommy and Me. Grab a pair for you and your child date and make it a skate date!
