Today was a fun day…. I got to decorate eggs with my two youngest children and I got to fill their Easter baskets for tomorrow. They are all tucked in bed asleep and I have a busy day ahead of me tomorrow. I will be taking the kids for a Easter Egg hunt at their Nana’s and then home to cook a turkey dinner.
I hope everyone has a fun and Happy Easter!
My cat had kittens on April 7. I was not planning on keeping any, but this kitten is just so darn cute I just may.

This summer the movie “The Help” is coming to theaters and it looks like its going to be a good one!
Based on one of the most talked about books in years and a #1 New York Times best-selling phenomenon, “The Help” stars Emma Stone (“Easy A”) as Skeeter, Academy Award®–nominated Viola Davis (“Doubt”) as Aibileen and Octavia Spencer as Minny—three very different, extraordinary women in Mississippi during the 1960s, who build an unlikely friendship around a secret writing project that breaks societal rules and puts them all at risk. From their improbable alliance a remarkable sisterhood emerges, instilling all of them with the courage to transcend the lines that define them, and the realization that sometimes those lines are made to be crossed—even if it means bringing everyone in town face-to-face with the changing times.

SEA LIFE™ Carlsbad Aquarium is inviting children to exchange their pacifiers for FREE Admission at the grand opening of its newest exhibit “Octopus Garden” on Friday, April 15, 2011. Octopus Garden is an interactive exhibit introducing families to the amazing world of cephalopods. From octopus and cuttlefish to nautilus, these distinctive creatures have almost supernatural abilities including camouflage, ink clouds and jet propulsion to surprise and delight adults and children alike.
Children coming to SEA LIFE Carlsbad Aquarium on April 15 have a chance to give up their pacifier habit to start a new habit of interacting with mysterious creatures of the deep at the Aquarium’s newest exhibit, Octopus Garden. Pacifiers will be collected at the main entrance to the Aquarium and for every pacifier turned in by a child, that child will receive up to four complimentary SEA LIFE tickets to use that day to enjoy with their family.
“The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends for non-nutritive habits to best be broken by the age of 3. The longer the habit extends, the dental treatment becomes more involved and costly. This can include: teeth sticking out or coming in crooked, jaws not growing symmetrically which changes the way the child’s teeth bite together and could cause speech impairments,” said Linh Tsai, DDS of CarlsbaDDS Pediatric Smiles. “The fact that SEA LIFE is offering a chance to see these incredible creatures as an incentive for your little ones to stop with the pacifier habit is great.”
In keeping with the Aquarium’s pledge to be eco-friendly, all pacifiers collected on April 15 will be recycled.
