My oldest daughter Ariyona has finally took an interest in an after school activity other than watching tv and playing video games. My girl is now on her school’s track team and ran her first two relays yesterday. I am totally happy that she is finding other things to do, other than just stay at home with the family. While I enjoy spending time with my kids, I also like them to be social and hang out with their friends too.

I have been participating in online forums for years. They are a great way to communicate with other like minded people. For me, they also can help generate some extra free targeted traffic to my website.

For some reason, I can never get my forum going the way I want it. I had a forum on Mommy Enterprises for years. I had a good small group posting, but them the spammers overtook it and I took it down and started over. Now that I have started over, seems like my only people wanting to visit are spammers or spambots. I have a couple members, but would love to get a community of moms posting regularly on my forum. Is that too much to ask for?

Since spammers are never going to go away, I wish they would at least do something productive rather than waste my time.

My stepdaughter Hailey came to visit this month for a week. She moved to Texas a couple years ago with her mom and comes to visit on her school vacations. My family so looks soooo forward to the day that Hailey arrives, but we all cry when it comes time for her to come back home. This is a picture of right when the airlines called her to board. We all cried as she boarded, even her 3 year old brother who doesn’t understand where she is going.
