Did you know that there are specially marked boxes of Cheerios that you can purchase that have a postcard area on the box that you can cut off, personalize with a cheer and mail off to put a smile on a honorable military family?

Last month my kids and I decorated a few of these postcards and mailed them out in hopes of putting some smiles on some faces. I thought it would be fun if each of my daughters decorated their own card and even I took out the time to decorate one of these Cheerios Cheer cards too!

I was really happy to see my children put the effort into making these cards! They actually had fun helping and want to buy more boxes to send out more.

What is neat about this promotion is that Cheerios has already donated $150,000 to the USO. They are also making a $1 donation to the USO for each of these Cheer postcards that is received through November 2012 (up to an additional $100,000).
