Disney On Ice “Dare To Dream” Is Coming To Sacramento Feb 13 – Feb 18

On February 13, 2013, Disney On Ice’s “Dare To Dream” will be at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, CA. Since I am a fan of the Disney On Ice shows, I am excited to be able to see this show with my daughters this month. I know that my daughter Hannah will enjoy this show because she is a huge fan of all the Disney princesses.

In this new and magical show from Disney On Ice, I know that we are definitely looking forward to seeing Rapunzel and Cinderella on the ice. I think it will be fun to be able to relive some of the memorable scenes of these Disney classics. Even though I am a mom, I still enjoy watching the Disney princesses too!

Frankenweenie Now On 3D Blu-ray + Movie Night Fun Pack

Last year I seen Frankenweenie in the theater with my daughter Hannah and we both loved it (read my review). This week Disney released Frankenweenie on 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack and I have a copy in my hand. We will be watching Frankenweenie on Blu-ray this weekend for our family movie night since the rest of my family hasn’t seen it yet. They have only heard how good it was from my daughter and I.

2013 Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Movie Lineup

Last year Disney put out some AMAZING films. I even had the opportunity to walk the Red Carpet with Jane Goodall for the Chimpanzee World Premiere in Florida as well as attend other Disney movie screenings. When it comes to movies, I am a big Disney fan! I will NEVER be too old to watch any of the new Disney animated films or the classics. I LOVED watching Brave, Wreck It Ralph and the Secret World Of Arriety at the theater with my youngest daughter this year. I also enjoyed watching The Odd Life Of Timothy Green with two oldest daughters. Those were some of our favorite memories of 2012.

I am really EXCITED for some of the movies that Disney has in it’s lineup for 2013, especially Oz The Great and Powerful. Below is a little preview of what you can look forward to seeing in the upcoming months.

Holiday Gift Idea – The Odd Life Of Timothy Green On Blu-ray & DVD

When it comes to movies that I have seen this year, I would have to say that The Odd Life Of Timothy Green is one of my FAVORITE movies of 2012. Once I seen the trailer I wanted to see it. I normally don’t get too excited about an upcoming movie, but this was a movie I really wanted to see.

Not only did I have the opportunity to see it before it came out in theaters in New York City with The Night Owl Mama in August, I was able to see it again once I got home from my trip with my two oldest daughters. This is a movie that leaves you crying with happy tears, in hopes that there will be a sequel. I thought I wouldn’t cry the second time watching it, but I did. I am sure I will cry the next time too.

Can you imagine if you could write the qualities that you wanted for a child on little pieces of paper, put them in a box, bury the box and like a flower, grow a child?

Even though I have seen it twice already, I am already wanting to watch it again. My husband hasn’t seen it yet and I think I might watch it this upcoming week with him! He normally prefers the comedy or drama type movies, but I want to see if I can get him to shed a tear over this cute Disney story. (Read my review & watch the trailer here)

Santa Paws 2 Review + Holiday Activities

In less than a month, Christmas will be here and I am excited. I LOVE this time of year and look forward to all the holiday music and especially the Christmas movies. If you are looking for a cute movie to watch with the family, Disney’s Santa Paws 2 just came out last week on Blu-ray and DVD.

The North Pole has a new litter of playful pups! However, when the frisky foursome—Hope, Jingle, Charity and Noble—practically destroy Santa’s Workshop with their mischievous gamboling, they realize the best way to prove that they’re responsible enough to become Santa’s Helpers is to show how well they can spread the Christmas spirit all by themselves. With help from a magic crystal, they start granting everyone’s wishes. But their good intentions backfire when one unhappy boy asks that Christmas go away forever! With his wish impetuously fulfilled, and the joyous spirit quickly disappearing from the planet, Mrs. Claus and the pups have to find a way to reverse the spell—or risk losing Christmas forever!

This was a movie that I watched with my two youngest and thought it was a good family movie. I think my children enjoyed watching all the scenes where the dogs get into mischief the most!
