Sharing some memories made this past Christmas morning!
How To Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular Infographic
In just a couple days I will be attending the How To Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento. I thought I would share with you this inforgraphic about the show that I thought was interesting!
It’s taken over 50 model makers, digital designers, scenic artists, design and mechanical engineers, skins fabricators and control technicians several years to bring the creatures to life.
I have heard some great things about this show and I am really excited to be able to attend. One of my favorite local news anchors even commented this morning that this show is one of the best live shows he has ever seen. My friend Tricia from The Night Owl Mama even wrote a great review on the show that you might want to read before you purchase your tickets.

Let’s Fight Holiday Fat In 2013 + 5 Tips for Surviving the Season
This past week it seems like I have ate way too much. I am pretty sure I gained at least a few pounds but am not getting near that scale just yet. I have noticed my clothes fitting a little tighter. I have made some YUMMY treats and dishes this month for my family that I didn’t dare try to count any calories when I enjoyed eating them.
Tomorrow is the first day of the new year and I am planning to set some goals for myself. While losing weight isn’t one of my top priorities, eating healthier is. Over the last year or so, I have been trying to switch to organic foods, make meals from scratch, avoid sugar (when possible 🙂 ) and avoid fast foods. While I haven’t gave up on fast food altogether, we only usually eat out a couple times a month because it honestly doesn’t even sound appealing anymore.

Samantha Harris’s Tips for Surviving the Season
- Make healthy low-fat food choices. Swap out the high fat ingredients in your favorite holiday recipe for healthier options.
- Snack Often. Have healthy snacks at hand to help keep you from reaching for holiday goodies. Apples, low-fat string cheese and baby carrots are low-fat and easy to pack! Have a sweet tooth? Try a small peppermint candy (fat-free!) to satisfy your temptation.
- Exercise. Exercise. Exercise. Finding small ways to fit in physical activity can help maintain your weight and energy throughout the season. Going holiday shopping? Park the car in the farthest spot from the store entrance. Cooking? Work your legs with squats while waiting for the water to boil.
- Plan Ahead. Going to a holiday party? Eat a low-fat snack at home to help you stay on track and avoid over-indulging in unhealthy choices.
- Keep Stress Levels Low. Eating healthy and being physically active can play a big part in keeping holiday stress at bay. Keeping stress levels low also may help prevent weight gain. Try to find a time in a busy day to take a few minutes for exercise, deep breathing, or eat a healthy, low-fat snack.

This Girl Loves Her Jewelry & What You Can Find At Helzberg Diamonds
When it comes to jewelry, I would have to say that my favorite jewelry item would have to be rings. I love rings and would wear them on most of my fingers if I could. I happen to love diamonds, but a ring doesn’t have to have a huge rock to be cute or fancy. There is a ring I really want to buy at Helzerg Diamonds that is part of the Infinity X Infinity Collection, a line that is inspired by the show Revenge.
If you watch the ABC show Revenge like I do, you might be familiar with the Double Infinity symbol that you can find on episodes of the show on a box that Emily Thorne has with things from her father’s past. You will also find this double infinity symbol on a tattoo on Emily’s wrist as well. For some reason I really like the symbol and was excited to find out about the Infinity X Infinity line at Helzberg Diamonds that I had to take a visit to the store to see the collection for myself.
If things were my way, I would have a ring, earrings, bracelet and necklace from this collection. Since I don’t usually like to buy jewelry for myself, I am going to hint to the hubby that I really want one of the rings. There is a couple different options when it comes to the rings and I would love to have any of them.
There happens to be an INFINITY X INFINITY™ Diamond Ring in Sterling Silver for only $99 that would make a great gift for anyone that watches this show. I would be happy with even this one. 🙂
What is your FAVORITE piece of jewelry?

Sumo Omni Bean Bag Chair Review
Throughout my house is tile with only carpet in the bedrooms. When it comes to getting comfortable to watch a movie, it isn’t usually by sitting on the floor. Well that was until earlier this month when a pretty pink Omni Bean Bag Chair arrived from Sumo.
Our new bean bag chair is awesome. I LOVE the color of it, but I really like how big and comfortable it is. The Sumo Omni Bean Bag Chair is available in 10 different colors and with its size you can sit in it in a variety of positions.
I think everyone in my family LOVES this chair. My kids use it in their rooms to lounge in as well as in the living room. I might just have to get a second chair from Sumo for the house since all of my kids prefer to sit in it over the couch. Here are some features of the Sumo Onmi Bean Bag Chair I thought I would mention:
- 10 fashionable colors
- 10 positions (that have been discovered)
- Size 4.5′ X 5.5
- Easy to clean
- Filled with high quality Sumo beads
This is just one of the cool bean bag chairs from Sumo. They have a variety of bean bag chairs and memory foam bed mattresses.
