I recently picked up the Global Beauty Care Green Tea & Fig Body Wash and Exfoliating Body Scrub and have been using both products together. Overall, I’ve been pleasantly surprised and would definitely purchase them again.

Let’s start with the scent. Despite the name, I don’t really smell much green tea in either product. The fig fragrance is what stands out the most to me. Fortunately, I happen to like fig scents, so this wasn’t a dealbreaker. The fragrance is fresh, slightly sweet, and pleasant without being overwhelming. However, if you’re specifically shopping for something that smells strongly like green tea, you may be disappointed.
The body wash works well and leaves my skin feeling clean without feeling dry afterward. It lathers nicely and has become an easy addition to my shower routine. While the scent isn’t what I expected, I do enjoy it.
My favorite product of the two is definitely the exfoliating body scrub. I absolutely love using it on my feet. I spend a lot of time barefoot, especially around the house, so keeping my feet soft is important to me. The scrub does a great job helping remove rough, dry skin and leaves my feet feeling smoother after each use. It has enough exfoliation to feel effective without being overly harsh.
I also like using the scrub on my elbows and other areas that tend to get a little dry. The texture is pleasant, and a little goes a long way.
Overall, I enjoyed both products and would repurchase them. The scent may be more “fig” than “green tea,” but the products themselves perform well and feel like a good value for the price. If you’re a fan of fig fragrances and enjoy a good body scrub, this duo is worth trying.
Pros:
- Pleasant fig scent
- Body wash cleans without drying skin
- Exfoliating scrub works well on rough areas
- Great for keeping feet soft and smooth
- Affordable and good value
Cons:
- Doesn’t smell much like green tea
- May not appeal to shoppers specifically seeking a green tea fragrance
Is these a dupe? Not that I know of! I couldn’t think of any product that these reminded me of. I was expecting more of a green tea scent, but all I really smell is fig. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing—I actually like the fragrance—but I wouldn’t buy these expecting them to smell like a green tea product.
Would I buy these products again? YES, I would definitely buy these products again. I actually bought another body scrub last week when I seen them again on the shelf. Definitely worth the $1.25!
