One of our favorite things we like to eat around here is pizza. My husband is always asking for stuffed crust pizza and for some reason, it always seems so much more expensive to order take out pizza that way. I don’t know why I didn’t try sooner, but homemade stuffed crust pizza is pretty darn good. It might taste even better than the kind that we normally buy. …
Lemon Drop Cookies Recipe With McCormick
When it comes to things I enjoy doing, one would definitely be baking. There are those days when I would rather order take out, but for the most part, I enjoy cooking for my family and baking up some tasty treats that will have them asking for more. One cookie that I really enjoy cooking for myself + the family is my lemon drop cookies.
Since I kind of find baking like a hobby, I am always trying to come up with my own recipes as well as find recipes online that have already been tried that I know are going to be good. I have a huge collection of cookbooks, but finding a recipe online always seems easier. One website that I have bookmarked for when I am looking for a recipe is the McCormick website. Not only do I LOVE their products, they also have a great collection of recipes that you can browse on their website. Take a peek at my McCormick spice collection:
On the McCormick website, you will find the “My Look Book” feature that allows you to bookmark the recipes on their site that you want to be able to find easily. When you click on the “My Look Book” icon on their website, you will be taken you a page with your recipes you selected. Below is a quick screenshot of the my “My Look Book” on the McCormick website:

My Cute Peep Cupcakes
With all the different food pictures with peeps going around the internet, I had to have fun today too with some peeps too! We took the kids to the park this morning for an egg hunt, then I went home to get crafty in the kitchen.
With some homemade cupcakes, icing and a package of peeps, you can create such a cute little centerpiece that won’t take long to get devoured.
They are not too fancy, but I definitely impressed my little ones. 🙂

One of the first cookies I remember learning how to make was Snickerdoodles. I remember making them in a Home Economics class when I was in high school. I have since been making these YUMMY cookies ever since and even made Snickerdoodle Muffins last year that were definitely a HIT.
Yesterday I decided to make some Snickerdoodle Bars. They taste like the cookie, but even better. Want to make some too? Below is my recipe for some delicious Snickerdoodle Bars.

- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder

- In a bowl, cream sugars and butter.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix until well blended.
- Add batter to 13×9 baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until center comes out clean with a toothpick. If you are not using a nonstick baking dish, be sure to spray with cooking spray so bars to not stick.
- Remove from oven sprinkle with a cinnamon/sugar mixture and allow to cool before serving.
- Enjoy.
