Carmex Review & Giveaway
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Carmex®. All opinions are 100% mine.
For as long as I can remember, I have used products by Carmex. Growing up, my mom always bought the little yellow jars of Carmex lip balm to help protect our lips. Now Carmex has a couple new products that you just might be interested in that don’t involve your lips. Carmex has now came out with a Healing Lotion and a Healing Cream. So now in addition to helping us protect our lips, Carmex now has products that will help us heal and protect our precious skin too!
I am totally digging both of the products. I am one of those moms that uses lotion all the time. I usually have a bottle of lotion in my purse and in my car because you never know when you will need it. While I normally prefer lotions with fruity scents, the scent in these products will work for me.

The Carmex Healing Lotion is the lighter of the two products and can be used daily that does not leave a greasy residue. This lotion is made using a patent pending process that delivers healing and moisturization to your skin that contains ingredients such as Aloe and Vitamin E to help nourish and moisturize your skin.
The Carmex Healing Cream is a product that you will use on areas that need some extra moisturization. This product is more concentrated than the lotion and contains nine different healing ingredients to help penetrate and help repair very dry, rough or cracked skin.
Buy It – You can find the Carmex® Healing Lotion and Carmex® Healing Cream at Walgreens stores, walgreens.com and drugstore.com.

Listerine Oral Care Challenge Blog Tour
When it comes to my kids and brushing their teeth, sometimes getting them to brush can be a challenge. It seems like they go through lazy spurts where I am constantly having to remind them to get in the bathroom and get to brushing. I then have my 2 year old that likes to sneak out his toothbrush and toothpaste out of the bathroom and bring it to me, reminding me that he needs to brush his teeth. Now how can you get mad at that?
Luckily, there are companies like Listerine and Reach that are coming out with oral care products that will get kids interest. If you hand your child a boring white toothbrush, they are probably going to turn their nose up. But if you gave them some colorful toothbrush that has their favorite cartoon character on it, they might run to the bathroom to give it a try. I don’t know about you, but I have been worrying about the cavities with Halloween just passing and my kids consuming more candy (sugar) than they needed.
I am so glad that I was invited to participate in the Listerine Oral Care Challenge Blog Tour through Mom Central. My kids were prepared for the sugar that is involved with Trick-Or-Treating before Halloween even came around. We have been brushing, flossing and using some of the Listerine and Reach Oral Care products since last month. We were not the only ones prepared. The makers of Listerine and Reach teamed up this year with America’s Toothfairy to launch the “Trick or Treat for America’s Toothfairy” campaign that helps raise awareness of pediatric dental disease and help provide life changing care to children who really need it!
If your child does not like mouthwash, check out all the mouthwash from Listerine. They come in a variety of colors and flavors that have my kids using mouthwash more than I ever have. I find that switching flavors and products can sometimes help get your child’s interest in brushing or rinsing their mouth. Whatever helps in my opinion is a blessing. As an adult, I know how important it is to take care of your teeth as early as possible.

Help Me Rescue My Kitchen
Last month I posted about the Kitchen Aid Rescue My Appliances Contest. I entered and now the contest is currently in the voting stages and I need your help to win. All I need is a few seconds of your time and maybe I just might win my family some new kitchen appliances that we really could use.
Below is the picture I submitted………
I could really use a new stove and oven. This one is only a couple years old and can be a complete fire hazard. Read my post from last month to find out more about the problems I have with this stove and more about this contest.
