For me, my wedding anniversary is a day that I want with the husband where I have some time alone. A night out without the kids is something that I look forward to each year. When it comes to gifts, I like to give my husband a gift with a meaning. Maybe jewelry or something that he can keep forever, that would remind him of the memories we made that day. There are lots of different anniversary gift ideas for him that I can recommend:

If only I had my own avocado tree! I actually remember my mom trying to grow one when I was young, but it never grew any avocados so I have never attempted to grow my own. I just have to rely on those like Avocados from Mexico to provide us with big and fat avocados to use in our meals. When you pay per avocado and not per pound, it is nice to be able to find large avocados.

One thing that I love to make with avocados is guacamole. I actually just entered the Guac Off recipe contest from Avocados from Mexico that is going on this month. In my house only my husband and I are fans of avocados which is okay by me. When I make my guacamole, I don’t have to worry about the kids eating it before I do!

I I love avocados on Facebook too! On their Facebook page you can Share The Avocado Love. You can send fun online avocados to your friends and family online. I sent virtual guacamole to my friend yesterday on her Facebook wall! I wonder what she thought when she seen it .  🙂
