When you are sad and things are looking down, remember that…
Everyone has dreams but…
Reviews, recipes, crafts, fashion, entertainment, news and more!
This is a partnered post with Dasani and all thoughts are my own.
Everyday that I wake up I think of how blessed I am. I have a family, a roof over my head and an income coming in to pay the bills. Many people have those things and don’t appreciate them. I am one that often thinks of the less unfortunate and even though I am not rich and I have a stack of bills, I have a family that loves to make each other smile each and every day.
There are things that really make me sparkle. I have always had a passion for photography and I enjoy taking lots of pictures with my children who love to make silly faces when the camera lens is on them. Sometimes dad likes to be a photo bomb and make silly faces to make the kids laugh which is okay for me. I let them know that mom is going to post that one on Facebook.
Another thing that makes me sparkle is food. I love to be in the kitchen either baking or cooking up some dishes for the family that I can also share on my blog. I love cooking so much that I also have my cooking blog that has even more recipes. Being a work at home mom that gets to spend time raising her children and living my dream makes me SPARKLE…
This summer has been HOT. I am always encouraging the kids to drink WATER. I have preferred water to drink my whole life and try to make sure my kids are drinking plenty of water too. I agree that water can be boring but today there are so many flavored waters that it is easy to get our kids to drink water. We recently been drinking the Dasani Sparkling Water. These are naturally flavored sparkling water beverages that have ZERO calories! They contain carbonated water and natural flavors and when served chilled are refreshing
Since I mentioned that I love drinking water I was excited to try these out. Since I usually drink lemon lime soda I am really enjoying the Lime Dasani Sparkling Water and have a 12 pack in the fridge that is nice and cold for this weekend. We recently installed a pool in the backyard and these waters are great to keeps the kids refreshed when outdoors.

So now the question is….
I remember years ago when I was young and got my first apartment I thought I was going to need an ironing board. My grandparents had an iron and ironing board and so did my mom. My mom would use the iron when she needed to iron her blouses for work. I didn’t do well with irons but still thought I would need one just in case. Well I can tell you that I haven’t used an iron in about 20 years. I even donated the two that I had a couple months ago because they get no use.
If something of mine has wrinkles, I look for other ways to get those wrinkles out. Like using the Downy Wrinkle Release Plus. Not only does this #wonderbottle help to get wrinkles out of your clothes, there are lots of other helpful uses for this stuff.
Here are 10 reasons that you should have a bottle of the #wonderbottle at your house and maybe even in your purse:
These are just some of the ways that you can use the Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus. For more ideas on how to use the #wonderbottle visit: https://www.downywrinklereleaserplus.com/101-uses/

“I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for BGCA. I received a promotional item to thank me for participating.”
I have been using a computer since I was probably about 10 years old and have been using the internet since I was a teen. Luckily I haven’t had any bad experiences online but I know there are many things to be aware of. I have read about them, heard about them and have had friends share their stories of people they have met online or talked to online.
Since my business is “online” we have an internet connection at my house which all of my children enjoy using. My two youngest that are 6 and 9 get to use the internet on the family computer that is in the living room. Since you never know what you are going to find when searching online, I like to know what my kids are doing when online. My two oldest teens have laptops, cell phones, iPods, etc that they access the internet from.
Talking to your kids about online safety is important for kids of any age. Even those that have already been using the internet. Since being a #CyberSafe parent isn’t always easy there are resources out there to help! The Boys & Girls Clubs of America has partnered with Sprint and assembled their CyberTribe of expert teens that help to answer YOUR questions about different issues your children are facing online. You can submit a question online and have it answered by the #CyberTribe. You can also read other questions that other worried parents have asked in an effort to become more #CyberSafe.
On the BGCA’s Cyber Safe Site not only can you ask the CyberTribe questions, you will also find lots of valuable resources. You may not know it but many children are being victims of cyberbullying and we don’t even know it. If you think your child might be a victim you can find great tips on this site along with discussion cards that you can print and use to talk with your child. You can also learn about mobile device safety, online privacy, social networks and even personal data sharing.
I took the Cyber Smart Parent Quiz on the site and I am pleased to say that I am a CyberSurvivor!
I would LOVE for you to take the quiz and see what your results are. I also encourage you to ask the #CyberTribe a question too!
