SwirliDo Hair Ties Review

When it comes to girly stuff, my house is full of it. It couldn’t be that there are more females in my household than male. So when you walk in my bathroom, you know girls definitely use the bathroom in this house.You will definitely find lotions, body sprays, makeup, brushes and LOTS of hair accessories!

One product that I have been using in my daughter’s hair as well as mine is the SwirliDos. When I first received the package of these cool little hair gizmos, they reminded me of those keychains that go around your wrist. I was interested of course, so I put one in my hair. I am a ponytail kinda mom, so of course I was up for trying them out. The SwirliDo hair ties work for all hair types. They hold your ponytail nice and tight, but also come out without pulling all your house out. Even my 6 year old likes to wear them, in replacement of a regular elastic hair band. My only rant is I wish I would have gotten the Hawaiian colors instead of the neutrals.

Oxy Clinical Review

I remember dreading acne during junior high and high school years. I remember using different acne pads and medicines to make it go away when I had it because I never wanted to get made fun of. I am now past that stage, but have a couple daughters in need of some help.

My daughter Hailey, who is now 11 has had problems with acne for the last couple years. For some reason her face seems to get oily which causes outbreaks, which she does NOT like. We make sure that she washes her face in the morning and at night to avoid her acne from getting worse. When I was asked to review the products from the new Oxy Clinical line, I was very excited.

Hailey has been using the Oxy Clinical products for almost 2 weeks now. After using the products for the last couple weeks, we have seen a HUGE difference. Just yesterday, my husband told Hailey that her face was looking BETTER. I don’t think my husband even realized she had been using this stuff to clear up her acne. So it made me very HAPPY to see results. My husband noticed the results without even thinking she was doing anything other than washing her face every morning and night. With the results that it has given Hailey, I am going to keep buying this stuff for her. I know I hated acne when I was a teen and if this helps her face, then this stuff is a WINNER!

When it comes to makeup, there are so many different choices. I mean how is a gal to know which mascara, lip gloss, eye shadow or lip liner is the best. I love being able to use a variety of products when it comes time to getting all pretty and made up. There are some products from Pixi that I have been using that I want to share about!

The first product that I want to share with you is their Endless Silky Eye Pens. Now I am a little picky when it comes to the kind of eyeliner I use. When I first applied the Endless Silky Eye Pen, I knew I was going to like it just because of how easy it was to apply. This stuff also gives the appearance of liquid liner. I think it is definitely worth trying if you are used to using soft pencils or liquid liner.

These Endless Silky Eye Pens come in a variety of colors. I have been using the “Black Blue” color which looks awesome once it is applied. My oldest daughter has even asked me if she could use it. These pens contain skin-soothing vitamin E along with natural mineral pigments. These eye pencils are paraben-free, mineral oil-free, preservative-free and hypoallergenic.

The next product I want to share with you is the Pixi Sheer Cheek Gel. Now cheek gel is something that I normally have not used in the past. I think I may have had some years ago, but I am usually in a hurry when doing my makeup and don’t worry too much about the cheeks. Now that I have used the Pixi Sheer Cheek Gel, I am hooked. Just a little dot on each cheek goes a long way. It can be used to hydrate, moisturize and condition the skin. It also adds a special glow to my face that I like. Right now this stuff comes in 4 different colors. These cheek gels are Oil free, fragrance free and hypoallergenic.

The last product that I want to share with you is the Pixi Petite Palette. This is a perfect little addition for your purse or makeup bag. This cute little kit contains 4 of Pixi’s suit-all eye shades, cheek glow, highlighter, lip stain and lip gloss.

This little kit is perfect for when you are traveling as well as everyday quick touch-ups. I hope to see a variety in the colors with this in the future as it currently only comes in this one set.
