Recycle Your Unwanted CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays & Games For Cash!

If you were to want to watch a movie or play a game at my house, you would have a TON of choices. Not only do I have a huge DVD collection, I also have a huge video game collection and starting to build quite the collection of Blu-rays. While I do enjoy having all these movies and games at my fingertips, I sometimes wonder just how much I could get if I was to sell some of them.

I mean there are quite a few games and movies I have that I probably will never watch or play again. The thought does go through my mind of getting rid of some of them to make room for more.
Today I have been playing around on the website Music Magpie. This is a site that buys your used CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays and video games. I thought this concept sounded really interesting to I grabbed some of my stuff just to see how much I could get for them. Once you are on their website you input the barcode from the item you want to inquire about and hit submit. You will then see a listing for the amount you will receive for it. I went ahead and input some barcodes for a Wii game, a couple DVDs, a few Xbox games and a newer Blu-ray movie set.

Take a peek below at the screenshot showing the amount that I would receive for each if I was to sell them.

From the looks of my results, I am going to get the most if I sell my newer Wii games. Since my kids still play those, I don’t plan on selling them but it was fun seeing how much I could get. I also noticed that the Blu-rays are probably give me a better return too!

The Share Breakfast Program From Kellogg’s – #ShareBreakfast

Each day when I wake up it takes a while for me to get an appetite to eat breakfast. Some people want to eat at soon as they get up, but for me I usually like to get my day started before I eat anything. I will admit that sometimes I skip breakfast and know I shouldn’t.

When it comes to breakfast, here are a couple of our Kellogg’s FAVORITES…

When it comes to my kids, I am always insisting that they eat a good breakfast every morning, especially on the days when they have school. At their age I remember my mom and grandmother always reminding me how important breakfast was and now I am constantly reminding my children.

Did you know that 1 in 5 kids may go without breakfast every day? This saddens me because I couldn’t even think about sending any of my kids off to school knowing they didn’t have something in their bellies to get their day and be productive.

When it comes to breakfast, Kelloggs cares! Milk Unleashed – Drink Milk Anytime, Anywhere!

My 5 year old son LOVES milk. Usually the first thing he asks for when he wakes up is a glass of milk. He asks for milk with his lunch and dinner too (unlike my other children).

I will admit that I don’t really drink milk that often. I like milk with my cereal and I love to dunk my Oreos in a small glass of milk. I use milk when cooking and baking, but it is something that I don’t really crave. When I drink milk, it has to be cold. It my milk has been sitting out, it isn’t going in my mouth. Maybe I am just being picky but that is how it goes. My son on the other hand will drink a gallon of milk a day if he could.

Just recently one of my daughter’s brought home a little box that had milk inside and said she got it from school. It looked like one of those fruit juice boxes, but it had milk inside which had me interested. Since my son loves milk, I had always wanted a way to bring him milk instead of soda or juice when we pack a picnic lunch. I had always thought that milk needed to be kept in the fridge and never imagined milk being in a box with a straw that a child would want to drink. I was wrong!

I received a variety of the Milk Unleashed milk products and I placed them in the fridge just to see what kind of response I would get. As soon as my two youngest children seen them, they ask right away if they could have one. I was excited to see that they wanted to drink these little cartons of milk. They liked all of them but the strawberry milk, but that is something that I have never liked either.

In Need Of A New Do For The Hair

So I don’t know what to do with my hair. About 4 years ago I dyed my hair blonde. Since I am naturally a brunette it was a pain having to dye your hair every coupe months so that I didn’t have crazy roots. I had a friend who was a hairdresser at a salon that would come over on one her days off to do my hair. Well she happened to buy a new brand of products and I think she left the solution on my hair a little too long because it melted quite a bit of my hair off. For a LONG time, I mean over a couple years I couldn’t do much with my hair. Only the hair she was touching up melted, so not all of my hair was messed up, but enough to not feel my hair was NOT pretty so I wore a ponytail daily.

The blonde days…

Well now my hair has grown own. My hair is back to its natural color and I am feeling a little bored with it. I don’t want to put dye in my hair, but I am not feeling these gray hairs that are popping up on me. I told my daughters and a friend I was going to try coloring those grays with a sharpie. 🙂

The thought of hair extensions has been there too!

What I have been doing is using a flat iron on my hair to make it look smooth. The last couple days I have been curling my hair too! I actually have been thinking of getting a hair crimper just for fun.

I guess I could look on Pinterest for some new ideas too!
