If you are one that watches what you eat, you probably have or currently measure certain foods. Even if you don’t, you probably have measured food for a recipe or what not. I find myself measuring strawberries quite often for smoothies. I have something that makes measuring them super easy.
I have had the opportunity to review a set of the cool Measure Up Bowls. I received the Combination Measure Up Bowls set. These are something that are VERY HANDY for measuring stuff like cereals, fruits, soups, nuts, pastas, rice, etc. If you make smoothies, these are great to use for measuring your fruit.
This bowl set that I received includes the Classic Measure Up Bowl and a smaller Measure Up Bowl. The Classic Bowl measures the following: 1/2, 1, 1-1/2 and 2 cups. The measurements can be read easily in the inside of the bowl. This bowl is microwave and dishwasher safe too! The smaller Measure Up Bowl is one that can be used to measure stuff like calorie-dense foods or maybe high-fat foods that will usually have a smaller serving size. This small bowl measures the following: 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 cup.
I really think these bowls are really cool. I have even have had a few friends ask me about them. So guess what, they might just make a great gift for someone that has everything and likes to cook! You can buy these right now on sale at Target for only $23.99 for the 2 bowl set until the end of the month.
Guess What Readers? The nice people with Measure Up Bowls is offering one of my lucky readers a chance to win a set of the Measure Up Bowls too!

I learned these have been featured in many magazines and tv morning shows!
They also sell a 3 month portion control journal that helps you track what you eat and helps you count calories.
i am a subsciber.
I learned that Measure Up Bowls and Measure Up Journals was created by Heather Harvey- a normal, everyday woman who wanted to lose weight and learned taht the best way to do that was portion control. The problem though was that there wasn’t an easy way to measure out portions without dirtying up a sinkful of dishes / measuring cups. So she invented Measure Up Bowls- with portion measurements right there on the bowl! She also lost 80 lbs in 11 months and kept it off for over 2 years!
I learned that it was featured on Good Morning America….nice!
Heather Harvey thought up Measure Up Bowls to help with portion control…how cool.
