When my first daughter was born, I dreaded the day she would become a teen. I wasn’t a perfect angel when I was a teen and knew the teenage years can sometimes be the hardest. One thing I stressed about during my teenage years was ACNE. I dealt with it as a teen myself and now see my teens dealing with it too. My husband knows his daughters don’t want to deal with acne so he is always reminding them to clean their face. This is especially true  on the days when they walk in the door hot and sweaty after a long day of school, practice or a sports game.

When we received some of the Puffs Fresh Faces for review, I knew my daughters would enjoy using them over the boring soap, water and washcloth.

What types of things do you put in your teens stockings?

When you have a large family like me, you usually end up with a TON of dirty laundry. Lots of dirty laundry means for me, I got to stock up on the laundry detergent. Luckily the companies like Arm & Hammer thought smart and created concentrated detergent for those of us that like to try to save money.

I have been using Arm & Hammer products since I was a kid. Growing up as a teen I wanted white teeth and my mom told me to brush with baking soda. I never told my friends that I used it but I remember getting compliments about how white my teeth were. I now buy toothpaste that has baking soda in it, it definitely tastes better.

Now  I am a mom of four and the Arm & Hammer products always come in handy. I use their products in the bathroom, in the kitchen and even with my dirty laundry. I love that I can buy a small bottle of laundry detergent that will go a long way. Big heavy bottles in my house can lead to unexpected accidents when pouring the soap into the washer. For the last couple years I have been entertained during the Christmas holiday with photos that my friends publish of silly elfs hiding in their houses. This year I couldn’t stand it, I had my daughter Hannah write a letter to Santa and ask him to send an Elf to our house too. This is my favorite time of the year so why not add a little fun…

In just a few days after Hannah wrote Santa her request for an elf letter, Erich the elf arrived!

When the kids first found Erich, they didn’t find him in the box. He was actually hiding up on the mantel of our fireplace waiting for them Thankgiving morning.
