I never knew how much dust was in my home until I put tile in home. Sometimes it seems like I have to sweep a couple times to keep it clean each day. After I realized just how dusty the floors were, I figured that my couches probably had just as much dust landing on them. With the help of my new Samsung VU7000 Motion Sync Bagless Vacuum I can easily vacuum my couches to remove that unwanted dust along with the dirt and dust on the carpets and tile floors too!

When it comes to vacuums, this one is a little different than the vacuums I have used in the past, it swivels! The Samsung VU7000 has a motion sync design that makes it easy to maneuver around your furniture in your home. When I use this vacuum it feels though it is gliding across the floors. What makes this vacuum great for my home is that if offers multi-surface cleaning. Instead of just being able to vacuum my carpets in my bedrooms, I can also turn off the brush roll with a push of a button that allows scatter-free suction on hard floors.
One of my favorite parts of the Samsung VU7000 is the detachable handheld vac. When you have a big family you tend to have the occasional spill now and then.
The VU7000 has a hose-less design along with a separate motor that makes it easy to access spots in your home that a regular vacuum can’t reach. It helps to clean the spots like under the cushions on your couch were crumbs like to hide. The hand-held vac also includes dusting and crevice accessories that are built into the handle to make cleanup even easier.
The Samsung VU7000 has been designed with the Cyclone Force Multi Technology that offers strong centrifugal forces in all 9 of its cyclonic chambers to deliver a powerful suction. It also features the HEPA filtration system and has a 12.7″ built in HEPA filter that helps to remove 99% of the dust and fine particles on the surface.
Overall I really like this vacuum and I am impressed at the results. I like that it is not to heavy and moves around the hard to get areas on my floor. We normally use a regular broom to sweep the tile areas in my home but now this vacuum makings the floor chores even easier.

Keep Foods Fresh Longer With The Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Sealer System

When I go grocery shopping I have to buy a majority of items in bulk. I have a family of six and for me it is cheaper to buy certain foods in bulk and them repackage them so that I can put them in the freezer. I now have found a new way to repackage my foods for the freezer that will keep them fresh longer!
I received one of the Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Sealer Systems to review and I have to admit that I love it and wish I would have bought one of these types of vacuum sealer systems sooner Not only does this keep the foods fresh longer it is also going to help me save money because I am going to find myself throwing out less food because it came open in the freezer and got freezer burn.
Before I opened the box I was thinking that this product was going to be complicated to use. Boy was I wrong, it was simple to use and I actually had fun using it to repackage the meats and veggies I recently purchased at the store.
The first thing I vacuum and sealed was some top sirloin steaks. I used the pint size Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Sealer bags and they worked perfect. Since steaks are not cheap I like the idea of vacuum sealing them to make them stay fresh longer.
Next I wanted to make some meal packages for two. Most of our dinners are made for at least six but there are those weekend when mom and dad get a night alone and dinner consists of food for only to. With the Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Sealer Perforated Roll I was able to cut my own size of bags that would vacuum seal both my pork chops and my veggies.
Since I like to add vegetables to most of our dinners I like to always have frozen vegetables in the freezer in addition to having fresh vegetables as well. I normally buy the large bag of mixed vegetables but end up throwing a good portion out because of the freezer burn.
I was excited to take that big bag of mixed vegetables and make a few big bags of vacuumed vegetables for the family that are going to last longer.
What I didn’t know until I used this product was just how much longer food lasts when it is vacuum sealed. Here are just some things of things that you might use that could last longer:
- Coffee beans – 4 weeks pantry life – 16 months vacuumed & sealed life
- Rice, flour & sugar – 6 months pantry life – 1-2 years vacuumed & sealed life
- Cheese – 1-2 week refrigerator life – 4-8 months vacuumed & sealed life
- Lettuce – 3-6 days refrigerator life – 2 weeks vacuumed & sealed life
- Large meats – 6 months freezer life – 2-3 years vacuumed & sealed life
- Ground beef- 4 months freezer life – 1 year vacuumed & sealed life
- Vegetables – 8 months freezer life – 2 1/2 years vacuumed & sealed life
After finding how just how much longer my food will last, I plan on using my new Ziploc® Brand Vacuum Sealer after each grocery trip instead of using regular storage bags. This handy gadget works pretty fast too! Take a peek of my vacuum sealer in motion:

The Centurion Lounge is the perfect place to hangout at the airport even when you are traveling with your kids. It is a place where you can wine and dine, work and play and even relax and recharge. It is the perfect place for those looking for a place to go when there is a layover.
When you first walk in you will be amazed with the wine selection even if you don’t drink wine. You will find a unique wine tasting area that is powered by Wine Emotion that allows guest to sample different wines from the Napa Valley that have been chosen by wine directory Anthony Giglio.

During our special brunch we got to watch some cool magic tricks from Dante the magician. The kids LOVED his magic tricks and so did I. Even my teenagers were interested in how Dante learned his tricks. He seriously had all these kids LAUGHING so hard it was great.
Not only did the kids see some cool magic tricks they also went home with some very awesome balloon animals from Dante. When it comes to magic and balloons, Dante had it covered.

I think that this is a great educational toy for kids. It is recommended for children ages 3-9 but my 10 year old daughter is having lots of fun with it also. I downloaded the free games that came with the game along with about 7 other games and they have been having a blast. My children have a week off from school for the Thanksgiving holiday and this is definitely going to keep them busy.
