This year I want to buy myself something. I have done all my shopping for the kids and there are some things that I wouldn’t mind Santa bringing down my chimney this year.

When it comes to finger foods I happen to LOVE boneless wings. It is one of those foods that I don’t often make at home but something I like to order when I eat out. Boneless wings can be a great appetizer and you can definitely make a meal out of them.

Since I really enjoy eating at Sonic I was excited when I found out that they recently added some boneless chicken wings to their menu.

SONIC’s new Boneless Chicken Wings are made with 100 percent all white-meat chicken and are available in one of three mouth-watering sauces, each loaded with bold flavor: Buffalo, Asian Sweet Chili or Barbeque.

Since my local Sonic is closed right now because they are remodeling I took a 45 minute drive to the next closest Sonic to try all three of these boneless wings. A couple years ago I was introduced to the Asian Zing boneless wings at Buffalo Wild Wings and I LOVED them. I normally would have normally ordered the Buffalo flavor but glad I learned about something even better. I do have to admit that I was anxious to try the Asian Sweet Chili flavor at Sonic to see how they compare.

When my boneless wings arrived in their trays all three flavors looked delicious. Of course I tried the Asian Sweet Chili wings the first with the Buffalo being my second choice and lastly the Barbeque flavor. I liked all three flavors with the Asian Sweet Chili being my favorite. I shared with my kids my two daughters that said that the Barbeque was their favorite out of the three.

Comparing the boneless wings at Sonic and with Buffalo Wild Wings I think they are both delicious and a great value. I think that at both places you receive about the same amount of chicken but Buffalo Wild Wings is a little more expensive because you are in a more restaurant style environment whereas at Sonic, most of the time you are eating in your vehicle.
