French Toast Uniforms Review

More and more schools are becoming “uniform schools”. I am one of those moms that agrees on the kids wearing uniforms as it makes it easier to shop for my children. I don’t think high school so much should have a uniform policy, but definitely the younger children. I have one daughter who is not in a uniform and two that are. Luckily, there are some great companies out there that make cute and stylish uniform clothes for our children.

One company that I am totally impressed with is French Toast. This is a fairly new company to me but I love their selection of clothes. If you visit the French Toast website, there is a HUGE variety of tops, bottoms and other uniform accessories to choose form. Then for instance, if you choose a shirt, you then are able to pick a color and size too! With so many choices, it took me quite some time to pick which items I wanted for my daughter.

We have had the opportunity to review the French Toast Twill Capri and the French Toast Waffle Knit Polo. I love that you can buy uniform capris online as I did not see them when I was at the stores shopping for clothes. These are available in khaki, black and navy. The Waffle Knit Polo is made from cotton/polyester and has a cute little pocket in the front with 3 pearlized buttons. This style shirt is available only in white.

In addition to uniform tops and bottoms, French Toast also carries socks, ties, belts, undergarments, hair accessories and more.  On the French Toast website, don’t forget to enter their monthly drawing. SeaPak Popcorn Shrimp Review

On those busy days when I don’t have time to cook (or when I don’t feel like cooking), I turn to frozen foods to feed my family. While I prefer to make home cooked meals, sometimes we have to settle for something out of the freezer. Luckily there are some companies out there that make really good food that you can pop in the microwave or oven and have a hot meal within minutes.

We recently had the opportunity to review one of the frozen products from SeaPak. I chose to review the SeaPak Popcorn Shrimp since I LOVE shrimp. I was also going to attempt to trick my husband to eat some shrimp, but it didn’t work. Anyhow, I thought the shrimp was pretty good although I have never bought frozen shrimp before. The shrimp have a nice crispy bread breading and also have 135mg of Omega-3. I tried these shrimp with no cocktail sauce and still enjoyed them. I ALWAYS eat shrimp with cocktail sauce but forgot to buy some at the store. This is definitely be something I will be buying again and I want to try some of the other SeaPak varieties, especially the SeaPak Butterfly Shrimp.

So if you are a shrimp fan or like seafood and have not tried SeaPak, give them a shot. The New SoyJoy Review

When it comes to SOYJOY, I tried it when it first came out and I didn’t really care for it. I remember thinking it was dry and not very tasty. Therefore, I never bought any. I had first tried them through a free sample offer they had on their website some time ago. While I liked the idea of SOYJOY, the dry bar was not appealing to me.

I was recently asked by Mom Central to try the new SOYJOY. Since I had wanted to like it before, I was happy to try out the new and improved version. When I received the box last week with a few different flavors, I had to open it right away to try them out. I took a bite and immediately noticed the difference. These new and improved SOYJOY bars were moist and yummy. I ate about half of my first bar when my 2 year old wanted a bite and ate the rest. I was pretty impressed to see him eat it not knowing it was. I had a friend over who also commented on liking them as well. Okay, so now I will be buying these, especially if I see a SOYJOY coupon.

The new SOYJOY flavors that we received to try would be strawberry, blueberry and banana. Not only do they taste more moist, they taste a little fruitier too! Each of these bars have been made with high-quality and non-genetically modified whole soybeans.I do LOVE the fact that my son liked them. Now to have the rest of my children get hooked because these are a good source of fiber that my family needs!

Crayola Review

It is now mid September and most of our children our back in school. Mine actually have been in school for a month now and boy did it go FAST. My daughter Ariyona is already going to be bringing home a progress report and it honestly seems like school just started. Is it just us, or did your children bring home a BIG LIST of supplies they will need. I honestly don’t remember having a big list when I was in school but maybe I am wrong. I have four children, so my shopping isn’t so easy.

When it comes to shopping for Back To School supplies, the brand Crayola has always been my FAVORITE. I always buy Crayola crayons, markers and colored pencils every year for my kids. I was very HAPPY to see that this year Crayola is becoming more green & eco-friendly. Now, they this company really has my heart! Cray0la is doing their part to help the environment by using solar power to make crayons. They are also making markers from recycled bottle caps and their colored pencils come from reforested wood. Thanks to MyBlogSpark, we were able to try out some of the new Crayola products.

Lovin Scoopful Review

When there is ice cream in the freezer, it does NOT last long. It is one of those things the girls here in the house love to eat (without asking). So with that, I try to not buy ice cream too often. Our family usually goes to the ice cream shop on Tuesday for our family night a couple times per month and once in a while I will buy a carton of ice cream for a treat.

This month we had the opportunity to review some YUMMY ice cream from Lovin’ Scoopful. My taste buds are calling this stuff “gourmet ice cream”. Lovin Scoopful is a rich and creamy ice cream that currently comes in 13 different flavors. We have only had the opportunity to try 2 of the 13 and I plan to try them all.

This was definitely a Kodak moment and thankfully this mom always has a digital camera around. I hurried and snapped the photo and shared it on the Lovin Scoopful Facebook page. We were able to try the flavors What The Fudge and So Good Cookies And Cream. Both these are DELICIOUS. My only hope is my local grocery store will soon carry all the flavors. A couple weeks ago they had three and now they have five. So there is hope!

Okay, so what is the scoop on this ice cream? For one we think it is really good. This stuff also has 1/2 the fat and fewer calories than other premium ice cream brands. Lovin’ Scoopful also donates 25% of their post tax profits ($50,000 minimum annually) to the Special Olympics. I LOVE buying products that help those in need!
