What Kind Of Cook Are You?
I am a mom that really enjoys cooking, when I am in the mood. I would honestly say that I enjoy cooking and baking more during the fall and winter months than in the summer. With the high heat temperatures in California during the summer months, I try to use as little heat in the kitchen as possible. That means no using any cookers such as my oven in the kitchen during the summer when the temperatures are in the triple digits because my house becomes miserable with the heat. For the evenings when it is really hot, we tend to take the family out for pizza or something where I am not using my own oven.
One appliance that does come in handy during the summer months throughout the years have has been our microwave ovens. I love that my older two daughters are old enough to use the microwave to make themselves and their siblings a snack after school. There are so many different appliances that make cooking a breeze these days. Since I LOVE to cook, I have so many different appliances. Just to name a few, I have an ice cream maker, waffle maker, mini-cupcake maker, slow cooker and a ton more.
So what kind of cook are you?
Do you do the cooking for your family or does someone else. Leave me a comment, I would love to know…..
A Lesson On Discovering An EX On Facebook
I am one of those moms that are on Facebook all the time. It is my little outlet where I can chat, send messages and play online games with my friends and family. It also can be a place that many use to “search”, “look up” or even “stock” their EX boyfriends and EX girlfriends.
If you are on Facebook, I bet there is a good chance that you have searched for someone in your past. Maybe even an EX.
Check out the Anna Faris’ Lesson on Discovering an EX below:
This movie What’s Your Number is coming to theaters on September 30, 2011 and is rated R. This is a great movie for a “Ladies Night Out”.

Anna Faris and What’s Your Number? – Thoughts + Trailer
When it comes to movies, I would have to say I am a big fan of the “chick flicks”. I have 3 daughters and sometimes it is fun to sit on the couch with some popcorn and watch a comedy that is geared towards the girls. If the movie is geared more towards adults, I watch those chick flicks with my girlfriends or possibly my husband.
This month there is a new chick flick coming to theaters called “Whats Your Number?” that features Anna Faris as Ally Darling that decides to look back at the past 20 men in her life that she has had relationships with, wondering if any of them might be her actual “one true love”.
Anna Faris takes RECYCLING to a whole new level.
Take a peek at the trailer to get a good laugh….
In this movie Ally Darling reads an article in a magazine that warns people that if they have had 20 or more relationships in their life, they may have missed out on their chance at true love. Ally then goes on a quest to find the best “ex” of her life by any means necessary.
This movie is coming to theaters on September 30, 2011 and is rated R. Being this movie is geared towards the adults, this will be one of the movies I watch with my friends and not my daughters. From the trailer, it looks like its going to be a funny one that maybe my husband might just watch with me.
Please watch the trailer and leave me a comment with your thoughts!

Nikon Or Canon – Which One Should I Choose?
This?
For the last couple weeks I have really felt the need to have a new camera. When the point and shoot digital cameras came out, I had quite a few different ones and I took thousands of pictures. Then once I started using a smart phone, I normally just take pictures with my cell phone because it is easy. When you are a blogger, sometimes the easy way isn’t always the prettiest!
After going on a couple trips last month with bloggers and seeing them with all their fancy cameras, it has definitely made me want one extremely bad. After looking at the difference in pictures, I don’t have much motivation to take pictures for my blog with my cell phone.
So I either want a Nikon or a Canon. I want a DSLR and I want to spend under $1,000. I want it to take great photos but be not so complicated. I don’t like reading instructions so I like my gadgets to be easy to figure out.
Or that?
What do you recommend?
If you currently own a fancy camera which one do you use and why do you like it?
