I can’t believe it has been over a year now that my Whirlpool Duet was delivered and installed at my house. For years I dealt with used washing machines and dryers that always needed to be repaired or upgraded. Since my pretty Whirlpool washing and dryer has been in use, laundry has seemed just so much easier.

After using this laundry pair for the last year I would have to say that my FAVORITE feature is the Precision Dispense on the washing machine. Since I have a family of six, I do a TON of laundry each week. I like that I don’t have to measure the soap with each load that I do. The Precision Dispense allows me to just put the load of laundry in the machine and set it to wash.

My second favorite feature is the Advanced Moisture Sensing. With this feature it can detect if their is moisture inside the dryer and adjust the time on the dryer to be finished once your clothes are dry. This means that I can just put the clothes in dryer and turn it on. Once turned on the dryer will then take over and sense out how much time is needed to dry my load. It will also self-adjust during the drying cycle if determines more time is needed to get my clothes dry.

This is the first washing machine that also has quite a few handy cycles. Although I usually use the Normal Cycle, if I have laundry that isn’t too soiled, I can save time by using the Quick Wash cycle. I have seen my daughters use this Quick Wash cycle when they want to wash something real quick and don’t have time to wait for the Normal cycle. I also am really liking the Hand Wash and Delicate cycle for my clothes that I normally wash by hand in the sink.

With my Whirlpool Duet I am able to save over $3,300 in lifetime water and energy costs just by using these machines. I know these might be an investment to buy, but they are definitely worth it in the long run in my opinion. Not only do they use less water and save on energy, they also look pretty fancy in my garage when my friends are over and see me washing my dirty laundry!

When it comes to taking care of my health, I should be doing more than I am currently doing now.
