I can’t believe that we are already in May, where does the time go? This means that my children only have a month left of school before it is summer vacation. This also means that I need to make sure they have plenty of things to do to keep them busy and keep them learning for the time they are out of school. Last summer my son participated summer school even when it wasn’t necessary so he could keep busy and have fun with other kids.
One thing that I know we will be doing plenty of this summer is crafts! I have enjoyed crafts since I was a kids and I know this is something that I can do with my kids that we can all enjoy! (see our fun bug craft below)

I have four children and my dreams are for them all graduate high school, go off to college and be successful in the career that they have a passion for. My oldest daughter graduated high school last year and is attending our community college here.

Last month my son caught the flu which was no fun who happened to pass it along to mom who was will do anything to make my little ones feel better, like give them cuddles when they are not feeling better. My kids are in public school and exposed to germs all day so I keep my pantry stocked with cold and flu supplies from Target for those times when they bring home those icky germs and don’t feel well.

When I was a child I was guilty of putting my hand prints on places I shouldn’t have. I also remember using Windex® to help my Nana clean her sliding glass doors in the living room. I enjoyed playing in my grandparents backyard and would always use my hands on their sliding glass doors to get a better view outside leaving my little hand prints behind.
