Today Disney has announced the launch of the “Journey to Oz Balloon Tour” to support their upcoming film “Oz The Great and Powerful” that is opens in US theaters and IMAX on March 8, 2013. This beautiful hot air balloon began it’s tour this morning from the Walt Disney studios in Burbank, California.
Below are the scheduled stops for this tour:
This Friday on February 15, the “Journey to Oz Balloon Tour” app will go live on the official Oz The Great and Powerful Facebook page. With this new app, fans can unlock screenings in cities near them. Fans will have the ability to vote by Tweeting with a custom hashtag for their city (e.g. #DisneyOzSeattle) or by sharing on Facebook.
I wish I had the opportunity to see this beautiful balloon, but I will settle for seeing the movie on March 8 when it comes out!

On February 13, 2013, Disney On Ice’s “Dare To Dream” will be at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, CA. Since I am a fan of the Disney On Ice shows, I am excited to be able to see this show with my daughters this month. I know that my daughter Hannah will enjoy this show because she is a huge fan of all the Disney princesses.

In this new and magical show from Disney On Ice, I know that we are definitely looking forward to seeing Rapunzel and Cinderella on the ice. I think it will be fun to be able to relive some of the memorable scenes of these Disney classics. Even though I am a mom, I still enjoy watching the Disney princesses too!
