Last year I took an amazing trip with my daughters Ariyona and Hailey to New York City to hang out with our fellow Crayola Pop Art Pixies. While we were there we got to walk the pink carpet, check out some amazing sites in NYC, cruise in the totally awesome blue Crayola tour bus and more! The trip was something that I will cherish and remember for a lifetime. Even though it was just for a weekend, me and my daughters made a ton of great memories. I have a fireplace, but I am currently out of wood to burn.

I have four kids and there have been many games played at my house. I was once a kid too, so this mom likes to have fun too. Even though a majority of the kids today probably favor electronic video games, it is always fun to break out an old fashion board game once in a while too, especially when they are young!

Did you know that there are specially marked boxes of Cheerios that you can purchase that have a postcard area on the box that you can cut off, personalize with a cheer and mail off to put a smile on a honorable military family?
Last month my kids and I decorated a few of these postcards and mailed them out in hopes of putting some smiles on some faces. I thought it would be fun if each of my daughters decorated their own card and even I took out the time to decorate one of these Cheerios Cheer cards too!
I was really happy to see my children put the effort into making these cards! They actually had fun helping and want to buy more boxes to send out more.
What is neat about this promotion is that Cheerios has already donated $150,000 to the USO. They are also making a $1 donation to the USO for each of these Cheer postcards that is received through November 2012 (up to an additional $100,000).
