Easy Pesto Pasta Side Dish

An easy pesto pasta side dish recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound Farfalle pasta cooked
  • 1 cup pesto
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and allow to heat for about 5-10 seconds. 

  2. Add the pesto and use a whisk to mix it into the oil. Keep stirring while the pesto is warming up. 

  3. Once your pesto and olive oil mixture is warm warmed slowly pour in the heavy whipping cream and use a whisk to blend.  I used 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream but you can use more if you want your sauce creamy. 

  4. Reduce heat to low and continue to stir mixture to blend the cream and the pesto mixture. 

  5. Add cooked pasta into skillet and stir well to coat all your pasta in the pesto mixture. Remove from heat and serve.
