Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies With My KitchenAid Artisan Mini Mixer

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Add butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and mix on low speed until blended.
  2. In a bowl add flour, baking soda and salt. Use whisk to mix. Add flour mixture to mixing bowl. Beat at low speed until well blended. Add chocolate chips.
  3. Drop dough by 1/2 teaspoons 1 inch apart on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or silicon mat. Bake at 350° for 7-9 minutes until bottoms are slightly golden.
  4. Remove from oven and cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes. Transfer cookies to wire rack to finish cooling.
