One meal that my whole family loves is spaghetti. While I like spaghetti, I do think it can get a little boring after a while. Another meal that my family enjoys with a similar taste is Baked Ziti!
Baked ziti is easy to make and doesn’t take but a handful of ingredients for a big delicious meal to feed your family. Although it has spaghetti sauce, it also has Alfredo sauce which gives it a delicious flavor!
Below you will find my Easy Baked Ziti Recipe that you can also make that will be ready to eat in 30 minutes or less.
Easy Baked Ziti Recipe
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 lb of Penne pasta
- 1 jar of spaghetti sauce 24oz
- 1 jar of Alfredo sauce 14oz-16oz
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
- 1/8 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic salt
Preheat oven to 350° degrees.
Cook the pasta according to directions on box. While pasta is cooking add the ground beef and garlic salt in a large skillet. Cook on medium heat until meat is browned and crumbly. Drain grease and return meat to pan. Pour in spaghetti sauce and then stir in Parmesan cheese. Warm mixture on low heat while pasta is cooking.
Once pasta is done, drain water and return to pot. Add jar of Alfredo sauce and mix until blended.
Add pasta mixture into bottom of a 13x9 baking dish. Next pour spaghetti sauce mixture over pasta mixture.
Sprinkle the Mozzarella cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Remove from oven, allow to cool for 5 minutes and then enjoy!
Don’t forget the garlic bread!
