For me, my shower time is my little getaway from everyone and everything. With having kids, sometimes mommy just needs a little time to herself each day to escape.

My little getaway is not complete unless I have a bathroom supplied with bath and body goodies to spoil  myself with. These last couple weeks I have been enjoying some wonderful soaps from The Joy Of Soap. I knew I was going to be in heaven as soon as I got the box. I could smell these delicious soaps from outside the box. Knowing what was inside, I hurried and opened the box to get a closer whiff of the soaps.  OMG, I LOVE THEM.

The Joys Of SoapI absolutely LOVE handmade soap. I prefer handmade soap over any bar of soap you can buy at a retail store. There is just something about them that gives me joy! Okay, so the The Joy Of Soap is such a perfect name for their soap. Not only do they smell wonderful, they give a good lather too! That is one thing I look for in soap. If a little goes a long way, its got my approval.

From their site:

All of our moisturizing spa soaps begin with a base of organic olive, coconut, and palm oils plus castor oil mixed with therapeutic grade essential oils and exfoliants. Our soaps are great for all skin types, and they are hand cut so the exact weight of each bar may vary slightly.

The Joys Of Soap is planning on carrying more wonderful bath and body products too! I would definitely bookmark this site or buy a few bars if you love handmade soap like me. I was lucky to try their Ginger Snap, All Night Almond, Peppermint Passion and Two In The Shower Tea Tree. All of these smelled wonderful, but the Ginger Snap was my favorite.
