My Twinn Doll Review, Deal & Giveaway

My youngest daughter Hannah is seven years old and has quite the imagination. She loves to draw, but she also loves to play with her dolls and stuffed animals too. Hannah happens to be one of those children that you could give any gift to and she would cherish it.

What Hannah didn’t know was last month I ordered one of the My Twinn Dolls that was going to arrive that was going to look like her. I will admit that when it arrived, I had to be the first one (with dad of course) to take a peek. When I opened the box, I thought it was totally cute and resembled Miss Hannah.  It arrived just how I thought it was going to, in cute pigtails just how I like to style my daughters hair.  When Hannah got home that day, my son tried to be the first one to tell Hannah about the My Twinn doll that was hiding in my room. I told her that she did have a surprise, but she was going to have to do her chores first. For one, Miss Hannah was in a hurry to get some chores done around here.

Once she was done with chores she was quick to ask what her surprise was. I couldn’t wait any longer so I got out the big My Twinn box with the doll inside and gave it to Hannah to open.

When she opened the box and seen this dog, she was so EXCITED. We explained that this was an expensive doll and that it was made to look like her. Just knowing that she had a custom made doll that looked like her, she was in such a good mood. She played with the doll for a couple hours ad even had me take some photos of them together. I think for Christmas, I just might have to get some accessories for her doll.

Glow Crazy Distance Doodler Review and Giveaway

When it comes to toys, I LOVE the ones that glow in the dark.  We have recently discovered a fun way to have fun coloring with light which has been providing lots of entertainment for the kids when it is dark outside and they are stuck inside to find something to do. We received the Glow Crazy Distance Doodler and not only have my kids had fun with it, so has mom and dad!

With the Distance Doodler, you use a GlowCrazy Dual-Action Magic Lightwand to draw images on the jumbo wall clings that come with the toys. You can use the lightwand up to 10 feet away to draw your own crazy designs. Also included is stencils that are pretty fun to use. Take a peek below at the space ship my daughter drew using the GlowCrazy Lightwand and stencil.

The spaceship is just one of the stencils. Also included was a princess stencil, number stencil and animal stencils. My kids and I also had fun using our own hands as stencils and finding ways to make other cool designs.

While this toy does say it is recommended for those ages 6 and up, my 3  year old I think has had the most fun with it. If you have more than one child, I recommend buying an additional lightwand because they will fight over it. I have two of them and wish I had at least 4!

Laser Pegs – World Of Bugs Kit Review

When it comes to toys, I have seen a ton of different kind of toys throughout my years. What interests me is the toys that my children continue to play with once they receive it. I know many of other moms have purchased expensive toys that your children only play with a few times and forget about it. I hate when that happens.

A couple weeks ago I introduced the kids to the Laser Pegs. These are little plastic pieces that LIGHT UP and connect together. Each of their kits include certain Laser Peg pieces to create different things. We received the World Of Bugs kit. While this product is recommend for children that are ages 7+, my son that is only 3 1/2 is having a blast with this kit. I find him every day putting things together and being so amused when he lights up his creation.

With this kit, you can build a Brazilian Spider, Bug, Wasp and of course whatever else you can think of. It comes with a little sheet that shows you that you can also create some other neat things like a power sword and a scooter which of course my kids put together. My oldest daughter has been having fun helping her brother put together some cute creations. I, myself think they are pretty fun too! I was a fan of the Lite-Brite when I was a kid, so I know the amusement with the light up toys. They have a variety of the Laser Pegs kits and now I want to get another one, maybe for my son’s stocking!

Paper Jamz Pro Series Microphone Review & Giveaway

My daughter Hannah LOVES to dress up and she also LOVES to sing. I am a big music fan and am always listening to music, so I can see where she gets it from.  Last month was her 7th birthday so we had to throw a party. For us, there is no party without music. During the party, Hannah and her friends had a blast singing different tunes with the Paper Jamz Pro Series Microphone.

For kids that love to sing, the Paper Jamz Pro Series Microphone from WowWee is a perfect gift. My daughter Hannah couldn’t put this toy down when she first received it. It actually started to annoy me after a few days, so I told her that she would need to sing in her room. The microphone I guess is similar to karaoke, but you have just a mic, speaker and some tunes. No words to help you out, you are on your own. The microphone system comes with 2 pre-loaded songs, but you can use the Paper Jamz Pro app to add your own songs.
