Threadless Tees – Cute Tank Top Review

When it comes to shopping, I love that I can shop online and find what I want without wasting my gas going store to store. The  thing about clothes shopping is that is a downfall is that you can’t try it on before you buy. I have been lucky and have never had to return any clothing because is didn’t fit.

I recently received a cute tank top from Threadless Tees. When it comes to tank tops, I can be picky. For the most part, I like to find tank tops that are a little long in length. Not too long, but not short. The tank top that I received from Threadless Tees had the perfect length for me. I received the cute tank pictured below which shows the length that I like.

When it comes to clothes, I like to wear clothes that are going to last. When I washed this tank, it didn’t shrink or fade which impressed me. I was able to wear it again, still looking like a new tank and not something I had for years.

This design on this tank “My Favorite Playlist” is also available on t-shirts and also in other colors. Threadless Tees has a line of shirts that has a neat variety of graphics and colors.

The Children’s Place Review

The kids have been back in school now for a few weeks and I am honestly enjoying the house being a little more quiet that it has been all summer. Once the kids get home from school, sometimes it can be so much chaos with having 4 kids. What I am glad is that almost all of my Back To School shopping is done. We got a head start on getting the kids their clothes and supplies this year and it felt good.

For Hannah, she has been wearing some very cute outfits from The Children’s Place to school these past couple weeks. When I was shopping on their website, I was really impressed with their prices. I have shopped at The Children’s Place before, but for baby clothes, so I wasn’t sure what to expect quality wise when they arrived.

I am a BARGAIN shopper. For under $50, I was able to get Hannah 3 cute tops, 3 cute skirts and 9 pair of socks. Okay moms, I think I scored a great deal here. I did buy items that were on sale though, because like I said I like a good bargain. When the clothes arrived, they actually were more cute than expected. These outfits are also worth more than the price tag. In the past, a shirt  that I usually purchase for under $5 is going to be thin and the colors will normally fade. In most situations, you get what you pay for. With my purchase, I think I got the better end of the deal.

If you are still in need on school clothes for your child, I would hurry over to The Children’s Place. They are having their Fall Sale and they have some GREAT prices on clothes that your child is going to look good wearing. I am seriously thinking of placing another order while some of the items are still in stock.

Since I have four children, I really do have to bargain shop sometimes when it comes to clothes shopping. I really am impressed with the quality of these clothes for the price! My next challenge will to be find some outfits for my son like I did my daughter.

At The Children’s Place you will find clothing for babies, toddlers and children’s clothing up to size 14. Not only do they have clothes, they have shoes, accessories, uniforms, backpacks and even COSTUMES!

If you are still in need on school clothes for your child, I would hurry over to The Children’s Place (or shop online with the help of a Children’s Place coupon code).

Pediped Flex Jake Shoes Review and Giveaway

My son is now 3, but his first pair of sneakers were from Pediped and I LOVED them. I honestly had wished I knew about these shoes sooner when Hannah was learning how to walk. For children, these shoes are the next best thing to bare feet because they are flexible and comfy! I know that many of you are looking for shoes for your children that are going to last a long time and I would definitely recommend the Pediped shoes. The only bad thing is that these shoes are only for infants and children, sorry moms!

This month I received a pair of the cute Pediped Flex Jake Shoes in the Chocolate Brown color for my son. These are cute, comfortable for my son’s big feet and they match with almost everything. This is actually my son’s second pair of the Jake style, his first pair was a set of the Flex Jake Shoes in blue (read my past review). This pair of shoes by Pediped has been designed with the Flex Fit System that provides additional insoles that can be insert into the shoe to create a snug fit then can be removed to create more room in the shoe as your child’s foot grows. These insoles can reduce the shoe size by almost half a size and also extends the life of the shoe.

Here are some of the Flex Jake features:

  • Nubuck upper and leather lining
  • All natural rubber sole
  • Sneaker style with elastic laces and a Velcro strap to keep them securely in place
  • Features the Flex Fit System ™ that allows you to adjust the fit of the shoe for pro-longed wear
  • Approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association for promoting healthy foot development

If you have a daughter, Pediped has some gorgeous shoes for girls too! If you have a young child that is learning to walk, I think the Pediped shoes are great to start with.

If you are feeling lucky, be sure to enter the Pediped Start Fall In Style Contest to win 5 pairs of Pediped shoes and a $500 Oilily gift certificate. This contest ends on August 24, 2011 so hurry and enter while there is still time left.

Crystal Vogue Tween Clothing Review

One thing I used to enjoy about shopping for my children when they were young were their clothes. When they are young, you can sometimes get away with buying them what you want and what is on sale. When you have tweens and teenagers, you have to have their approval before you buy or you might just waste your money on something you thought they would like and will never wear.

This year while looking for clothes for my daughter Hailey who is a tween this year, I came across Crystal Vogue. This is an online store where you will find cute and stylish clothes for children and tweens.

Hailey receive the Khaki Camo Shorts and she LOVES them. When they arrived, she couldn’t wait to try them on. They fit perfect and she said they they are really comfortable. I think they are really cute too! She will be able to wear these with a variety of tops this year. I really like the style of the pockets on these too! You can find these cute shorts in sizes 4 to 16.

Hailey also received a pair of the Twill Skinny Pants. Since skinny jeans are still in style here in California, Hailey is going to look awesome in these pants this school year.

These are the Rubee Jeans brand that have five pockets that include  flap pockets on the knee sides. These pants are blue and made from 98% cotton and 2% spandex, so Hailey has room to stretch in them. In addition to these jeans, Crystal Vogue has a ton of different styles of jeans that Hailey is going to want to grab too!

Like I mentioned before, tweens can be picky and this store has some clothing that my picky daughter thinks is really cute! If you are looking for some cute and stylish clothes for your daughter before she goes back to school, be sure to check out this online store.

You can find the Crystal Vogue collection at: http://www.crystal-vogue.com.

When it comes to exercise, I will most of the time choose to take a walk.  Whether I am taking a walk around the neighborhood or on the treadmill at the gym, I need to be wearing comfortable shoes! It is no fun walking if your feet are enjoying the exercise.

Family Fun In The Sun: Coolibar Child Boy Shorts & Marina Sun Hat Review

What summer isn’t fun without going to the beach? I live in sunny California, but I don’t live close to the ocean. I do live close to a few lakes and rivers which is good enough for me. During the summer when it is HOT, we often will head out to the lake to have some fun with the family and friends.

One bad thing about going out in the sun is the damage that the sun can do to our poor skin. I am always worried about the sun, so I usually come prepared with lots of sunscreen. What I found this year is clothing that can help protect your skin too! We received a few items from Coolibar for review.  If you have never heard of Coolibar, they have clothing that has UPF 50+ & 98% UV Protection.  You can use sunscreen, but it can only go so far. Now you can get clothing that will help protect your skin while you are out in the sun.

My son received a pair of the Coolibar Child Board Shorts for review. These shorts are adorable for little boys.  These shorts will offer your child waist to knee protection with some style!

These shorts are cut from their exclusive quick-drying fabric. They are soft (unlike many board shorts we have bought in the past) and stretchy. These shorts are also lightweight and ideal for any water activity. Once your child is out of the water and out in the sun, these shorts are made to dry quickly and provide superior breathability. These shorts also come in another “graphic” style and are available in the following sizes: (2-4) (6-8)(10-12)(14-16).

For me, I received one of the Women’s Marina Sun Hats. Since I am now always outside doing my gardening, this is going to come in handy on the days that I am not out at the lake soaking up the sun. My backyard gets quite a bit of sun, so this hat will help protect me while I am watering my vegetables, flowers or lawn.

The Marina Sun Hat has a woven polyester shell and offers UV protection with a fully lined crown, moisture wicking internal sweatband and crushable, packable construction. It is  available in a variety of colors including pale lilac, natural, morning sky, pink and icicle. I think the pink and purple is the cutest!

Coolibar also has shirts, swim cover-ups, umbrellas, shelters and more! To find out more, please visit: http://www.coolibar.com.

Tea Collection Review

For me, raising my son has been has been a little different than raising my girls. Sometimes I think that I might only have one child if my daughters were anything like my son. Don’t get me wrong, they are all great kids but my son definitely keeps me on my toes.

With my daughters, they have had their share of hand me downs. With  my son, there is no hand me downs. He is also “hard” on his clothes, so I make sure we buy him boy’s clothing that is going to last. My son has recently had the opportunity to try a couple items from the Tea Collection. I receive the Tea Collection catalogs and always think there clothes are cute and priced reasonably.

My son has been wearing the Tea Collection’s Long Sleeve Henley. I thought this was something he could wear with all his pants and was cute. The true test was how was it going to look after I washed it. After a few washings, it still looks like almost new.

The second thing he has been wearing from the Tea Collection is their Hickory Stripe Cargo Pants. My son looks super cute in these pants along with the Henley shirt. Since he prefers pants with a comfortable waist, these are perfect. They are 100% cotton and come in sizes 2 through 12 years.

Now that we have had the opportunity to try a couple of the cute items from the Tea Collection, I can’t wait to get our next catalog. If you have never heard of the Tea Collection, they have some very cute children’s clothing. You can find out more about the Tea Collection at www.TeaCollection.com.
