MyLaundryOnline Laundry Network – A Little Help With Your Dirty Laundry

I don’t know about you, but I always have a ton of laundry to do at my house. When you have a large family, piles of dirty laundry that needs to be washed is not something uncommon to see. I have actually learned that my oldest two daughters can help out with the laundry just as good as mom can, sorry girls!

There are parents out there with a ton of laundry and no time to clean it. This is especially true when you have larger families where both parents are working out of the home. Did you know that you can actually pay someone to wash your laundry for you? The past month I have thought a couple different times that I wish I had a laundry fairy or maid. So then I was browsing online and found that there are people out there, moms like me actually, that will wash your laundry for a fee. For some of us, paying someone to do the laundry is better than doing it themselves.

If you are looking for help with your laundry, check out MyLaundryOnline.com. This is a laundry network for those who need help with their dirty laundry. What you do is visit the “Laundry Search” section and enter your zip code. You will then be presented with people in your area that you can pay to help you out. This is a new website, so don’t be disappointed if there is not anyone in your area yet. I hope to see this grow, as this website is such a great idea.

Are you looking to make some extra cash? If you own a washer and dryer and willing to wash laundry for others, you can make extra money by listing yourself on the network as a vendor. This is a great way for stay at home moms and dads to make extra cash while staying at home with the kids.

Family Fun In The Sun: TruKid Sunscreen Review

One thing you can’t forget during the hot summer months is sunscreen. When you are a mom, it is your job to remember to bring the sunscreen to help protect your little ones as well as yourself.

This past month I received some of the TruKid Sunny Days Sport Sunscreen for review. This is an all natural water resistant and unscented sunscreen with kids in mind that provides a SPF 30+.  Don’t worry, moms can use it too! I like that this stuff is unscented because I know my son won’t want to smell “girly” like his sisters.

I don’t know about you, but I do worry about too much exposure to the sun when it comes to my children. When the sun is shining, I like to be prepared. The TruKid Sunny Days Sport Sunscreen is available in a 2oz which makes it a perfect size to carry in my purse, car or beach bag. What I also like about this product is that it is FREE from toxins, parabens, phthalates, SLS, gluten, BPA and 1-4 dioxane. Be sure to check out all the awesome TruKid sunscreen products here.

If you are a fan of all natural products, you will want to check out some of the other TruKid products. They offer a neat line of products that include: shampoo, conditioner,  body wash, face wash, detangler, relief balms, skincare for grownups, baby care products and more!

Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas At EdenFantasys

Last night I attended my first “adult” themed party. One of my good friends was a hostess and asked me to come. With the location of her party being only blocks away from my house I couldn’t say no. When I refer to the party as “adult” themed, I am talking about one of those fun parties for women where you learn about different products and books and such that you can use to add excitement to your life. The party was actually fun and I wish I would have went to all the others that I have been invited to throughout the years.

What is cool is you can buy these types of adult products online in case you are shy about buying from a party or a store. One website that I would recommend is EdenFantasys. This site has a ton of cool products for us adults. In addition to toys for adults, they have some things you can buy to enhance your Valentines Day. You will find romantic and sensual products that include candles, massage kits, honeymoon and bedside kits, lingerie and more!

If you love candles, I totally recommend massage candles. You let the candle burn, then the liquid can be used as massage oil which also helps to make your skin SOFT. EdenFantasys has these massage candles in a variety of YUMMY scents.

You can find EdenFantasys at: www.EdenFantasys.com

Monster Jam Recap

Last Sunday my husband and I took our kids along with the neighbor’s daughter to the Monster Jam in Sacramento at the Arco Arena. Now this is an event that I have always wanted to go to whenever I see it in town. We watch these trucks on TV and my son has a bunch of the Monster Jam Hot Wheel trucks, I just never had seen it in person. I would say that the Monster Jam was FUN and definitely LOUD.

Out of all the Monster Jam trucks, I LOVE the Grave Digger the best. Out of everyone, I think my son Christopher probably had the most fun. He is a boy and loves these trucks. You should have seen his face when he seen them out in the arena. At first he was afraid because it was loud, but once the show started they had his full attention. About a week prior to this event, we bought the Monster Jam game for Wii. We had been playing the game for the week prior to going to the Monster Jam, so when it was time for the trucks to do their freestyle tricks, it totally reminded us of playing the game.

We are definitely going again the next time they are in town!

I LOVE Marshalls and T.J.Maxx

For years I have been shopping at Marshalls and T.J.Maxx. I am one that does love some of the name brand items, I just don’t like to pay the high prices you might find on the sales tags in department stores. I know that every time I have visited either of these stores in the past, I have always found so many things that I wanted to buy at such great prices.

What I didn’t know, until recently is that these stores receive 10,000+ new items each week. Personally, I didn’t think these stores had that much merchandise. With 10,000 new items each week, you are sure to find something at a great value. What I also did not know was that most of their merchandise is “in season”. Recently I participated in an online virtual event with style expert Alison Deyette. In this online event with Alison, I learned so much MORE about these stores. One big thing that I learned is that you can find things at Marshalls and T.J.Maxx that are the same items you will find at department stores for up to 60% less. I think I will be shopping at these stores more often now!

Just before Christmas I took a last minute shopping trip to Marshalls. I would go to T.J.Maxx, but I have a Marshalls closer. Anyhow, I SCORED on some great items. I got two cute sets of pink iPod speakers for my daughters for only $7.99. I also found my husband the coolest wood car figure for only $10.00. My favorite part of these stores is their home section. They have so many NEAT things for your kitchen, bathroom, house, etc. I bought some awesome picture frames for only $5.99 that made GREAT gifts for the grandparents this year.

If you have never heard of these stores, you MUST take a visit. You can visit Marshalls and T.J.Maxx online at: http://www.marshallsonline.com/ & http://www.tjmaxx.com/.

Feel free to share your experiences and thoughts about these two awesome stores!

I received a gift card from to Marshalls & T.J.Maxx to provide you with this review. I was not paid any monetary compensation to publish this review. This review is my personal opinion only and receiving the gift has no impact on my opinion of the product.

Bank Of America Saves You Time & Giveaway

I have been a customer of Bank of America for a few years now. I will admit that it took me years to open a bank account at Bank of America because I didn’t know much about banks. Years ago when I was a child, my mom opened an account for me with her bank. So for years I just stuck with that bank since I had been a customer for years. Then my husband opened an account at Bank of America, a year later I opened an account as well.

I am a fan of Bank of America because they offer so many different services than just banking. I actually have my home loan through Bank of America, a safe deposit box along with both a checking and a savings account. They are one of many banks that I have been able to work with over fees that understands. When my husband and I go to our local branch, the staff there are always friendly and even know us by our first name.

Here are some of the key features and benefits of being a customer of Bank of America:

  • Bank on the go: It’s easy to set up mobile banking and secure access to your money wherever you are. Download the mobile banking app and you can check balances, transfer money, pay bills, and locate ATMs. Sign up for text banking and you’ll be able to send a text message to get your balance instantly in a reply.
  • Make quick and easy deposits: Holiday means a lot of extra work, so eliminate the labor of depositing checks. With Bank of America’s Deposit Image ATMs, you simply feed checks or cash into the ATM with no envelopes or deposit slips required. You get images of your checks and a list of cash deposited on your receipt as proof.
  • Save a trip to the bank: Don’t worry about making an extra stop to the bank during all of your holiday shopping. Keep track of your spending by using Bank of America’s online banking: set up alerts, check balances and transfer money.

One of my favorite things of Bank of America would have to be their online services. Since I am always online, I can easily check my bank statement, transfer money, pay bills and even pay my mortgage in just minutes.

Kindercare Is Keeping Kids Busy This Winter

I don’t know about you, but the days are sure getting shorter around here. It seems like before I know it, it is dark and the kids are inside looking for something to do. If you are a parent that is hearing the “What Can We Do” question for your children, Kindercare is offering age-appropriate activities for kids to help them break their boredom blues.

This year Kindercare is offering a Winter Science Camp, reading resources and other activities to keep children busy. At the end of this month, there are 1,600 different Kindercare locations across the US that will transform into Winter Science Camps. These camps are for those children that are preschool through school age and will give them a chance to learn the mysteries of the natural world. This science camp is split into eight one day sessions and uses age-appropriate and hands-on activities to get your children excited about learning. They have programs for both preschool aged children as well as school aged children that sound like a TON OF FUN! You can find out more about the Kindercare Winter Camp at: http://www.kindercare.com/wintersciencecamp.

Kindercare is encouraging lots of reading this winter. Make reading fun this winter and grab a book and snuggle up with your child and read a story. My children normally have to read each night as part of their daily homework. Reading to a child on a regular basis is a great way to encourage your child to want to read. Kindercare offers parents a comprehensive reading guide that incorporates tips on reading books to infants, toddlers and preschoolers. It also includes recommended age-appropriate book titles for your children.

The following are some quick tips for educational and fun family playtime from Kindercare:

  • For infants, playing peek-a-boo will help baby recognize your voice.
  • To help infants and toddlers develop fine motor skills, provide a variety of soft, easy-to-grasp toys, such as soft blocks or plush toys.
  • Blow bubbles with your child and watch them have a blast as they chase and catch the bubbles – both reinforce motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

About KinderCare – With more than 1,600 centers located in 39 states and the District of Columbia, KinderCare Learning Centers, an accredited early childhood provider, offer a range of educational programs and after-school care for infants as young as six weeks old to school-aged children through age 12. For more information, visit www.KinderCare.com.
