I don’t know about you, but I always have a ton of laundry to do at my house. When you have a large family, piles of dirty laundry that needs to be washed is not something uncommon to see. I have actually learned that my oldest two daughters can help out with the laundry just as good as mom can, sorry girls!

There are parents out there with a ton of laundry and no time to clean it. This is especially true when you have larger families where both parents are working out of the home. Did you know that you can actually pay someone to wash your laundry for you? The past month I have thought a couple different times that I wish I had a laundry fairy or maid. Family Fun In The Sun: TruKid Sunscreen Review

One thing you can’t forget during the hot summer months is sunscreen. When you are a mom, it is your job to remember to bring the sunscreen to help protect your little ones as well as yourself.

Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas At EdenFantasys

Last night I attended my first “adult” themed party. One of my good friends was a hostess and asked me to come. With the location of her party being only blocks away from my house I couldn’t say no. Monster Jam Recap

Last Sunday my husband and I took our kids along with the neighbor’s daughter to the Monster Jam in Sacramento at the Arco Arena. Now this is an event that I have always wanted to go to whenever I see it in town. We watch these trucks on TV and my son has a bunch of the Monster Jam Hot Wheel trucks, I just never had seen it in person. I would say that the Monster Jam was FUN and definitely LOUD.

Out of all the Monster Jam trucks, I LOVE the Grave Digger the best. Out of everyone, I think my son Christopher probably had the most fun. He is a boy and loves these trucks. You should have seen his face when he seen them out in the arena. At first he was afraid because it was loud, but once the show started they had his full attention. About a week prior to this event, we bought the Monster Jam game for Wii. We had been playing the game for the week prior to going to the Monster Jam, so when it was time for the trucks to do their freestyle tricks, it totally reminded us of playing the game.

We are definitely going again the next time they are in town!

I LOVE Marshalls and T.J.Maxx

For years I have been shopping at Marshalls and T.J.Maxx. I am one that does love some of the name brand items, I just don’t like to pay the high prices you might find on the sales tags in department stores. I know that every time I have visited either of these stores in the past, I have always found so many things that I wanted to buy at such great prices.

What I didn’t know, until recently is that these stores receive 10,000+ new items each week. Personally, I didn’t think these stores had that much merchandise. With 10,000 new items each week, you are sure to find something at a great value. What I also did not know was that most of their merchandise is “in season”. Recently I participated in an online virtual event with style expert Alison Deyette. In this online event with Alison, I learned so much MORE about these stores. One big thing that I learned is that you can find things at Marshalls and T.J.Maxx that are the same items you will find at department stores for up to 60% less. I think I will be shopping at these stores more often now!

Just before Christmas I took a last minute shopping trip to Marshalls. I would go to T.J.Maxx, but I have a Marshalls closer. Anyhow, I SCORED on some great items. I got two cute sets of pink iPod speakers for my daughters for only $7.99. I also found my husband the coolest wood car figure for only $10.00. My favorite part of these stores is their home section. They have so many NEAT things for your kitchen, bathroom, house, etc. I bought some awesome picture frames for only $5.99 that made GREAT gifts for the grandparents this year.

Kindercare Is Keeping Kids Busy This Winter

I don’t know about you, but the days are sure getting shorter around here. It seems like before I know it, it is dark and the kids are inside looking for something to do.
