Last month I was invited to take a trip to Benton Harbor Michigan to stay at the Whirlpool Real Whirled House and take a trip behind the scenes at some of the Whirlpool locations. When I first received the invite, I was so ecstatic. See this mom has been in California my whole life. I have only had a chance to see but a few of the 50 states, so a trip to Michigan was totally something that I was up for. I was also excited to be able to meet 7 other Whirlpool Moms that share some of the same interests as I do, blogging!
While I was in Michigan, I had the opportunity to stay a couple nights at Whirlpool’s Real Whirled House. This is actually a 3 story condo with 4 different kitchens as well as multiple laundry rooms. Each of us had our own bedroom at the condo which totally rocked. During our stay, we were able to tour some of the different Whirlpool locations and go behind the scenes. We learned about how some of the appliances like the Whirlpool washer and dryers are tested, a few lessons in cooking and even some tips in laundry care.
On our last day, we were spoiled with a trip to Chicago to see The World of Whirlpool. We got to eat lunch on the roof and make our own dessert with some cool Whirlpool on staff chefs! I had a blast on this trip and had a wonderful time getting to know 7 of my fellow Whirlpool Moms.
