ItzBeen Review And Giveaway

Having a baby can be such a rewarding part of life but challenging at the same time. For new moms, keeping track of when your baby ate last, had their diaper changed, took a nap can be quite a task. This can be true for those of us that are not new to the baby stages too! Many new parents can get a little over-whelmed and have a difficult time recalling these simple tasks that don’t seem so simple at the time.

itzbeen

This is where the ITZBEEN Baby Care Timer comes in handy. This handy little baby timer was designed by a husband and wife to help create a solution to many of the “new parent challenges”. Their goal was to provide parents with a tool that could help first-time moms and dads become better parents as well as make being a parent just a little bit easier.

The ITZBEEN Baby Care Timer is a multi-purpose gadget that has four different timers that count up with the touch of a button.  These one-touch timers display how long it’s been since:

  • Your baby’s last diaper change
  • Last time baby was fed
  • Last time baby sleep or woke up
  • Also an extra button to use for say last time baby took medication, exercised, etc

To use this timer, you just simply press a button after you have done any of the things mentioned above. It also is equipped with a soft-glow nightlight to help find your way around in the dark. This shuts off after 7 minutes. You will also be able to read times in the dark with the timer’s Backlight.

The ITZBEEN Baby Care Timer also has an optional timer alarm. This allows you to set an alarm to remind you if a certain time limit is reached. When the alarm goes off, the button lights up and you will hear a brief alarm sound. It is also very portable and has a back clip that can be attached to your pocket, purse, diaper bag, etc. For the moms who are  nursing, it also has a Left And Right switch so you remember which side your baby nursed from last.

I am not a new mom but this timer definitely can come in handy. Since it is cold season, this can be used to keep track of when my little ones last took their medication. When you are stressed out and have sick kids, remembering when you gave your child medication last might not be easy. This also makes for a GREAT baby shower gift. If you are one that likes to give UNIQUE gifts, this is definitely one of them.

their site is great! it has so much info about the usability of the timer. My girlfriend that has a baby the same age as mine (4 month old boy) SWEARS by it. She says that it really helps her live a ‘sane’ life — with the sleep deprivation that comes with a tiny one, using the timer allows her brain to focus on other important things while being able to take great care of her baby by having all details electronically noted!

  5. Lo says:

I love the idea of multiple timers streamlined into one device. We are expecting #2, so life is only going to get more chaotic…

Love how they flash the blogs that review them. I would love this for my pregnant sister. When my son was a baby we always forgot times unless we wrote them down (which was not often) and the sleep deprivation tends to dull my mind…lol! Thanks for the chance, justicecw@hotmail.com

I went to the website because I’m a rule follower, but I didn’t need to do that to tell you what I love about this product. Ever since I had my son a year ago, this is my #1 recommendation for new parents. We wouldn’t have survived without it! I love that it lights up for when you are using it in the middle of the night and I love that it has four independent timers. The “extra” one really came in handy when I was tracking my own pain medication post-partum!
