Looking forward to seeing Disney’s Oz The Great And Powerful? I know that I am! Out of all the movies I have ever seen, I would have to say that The Wizard Of Oz is one of my all time favorites. I don’t own it on DVD or Blu-ray, so when one of the cable channels plays the old classic, I seem to get a little excited. This is one of those movies that I have enjoyed watching with my daughters for their first time too! This is probably one of the only movies that I can see each year and it never gets old.
TODAY through January 31, 2013, Disney has launched a New Year’s Sweepstakes as well as an Instant Win Game in support of their upcoming film , “Oz The Great and Powerful”. With the sweepstakes, you have to have a Twitter account and send a Tweet sharing a goal for the new year and including the hashtag #DisneyOz. There is then a second chance option where you send another tweet with who you would take with you on the road to Oz. The GRAND prize is a trip 4-day/3-night trip for two to Seattle, Washington (a $2,400+ value).
After you do the two tweets, be sure to take advantage of the instant win game. You will need to look for a special Bonus Brick on the Yellow Brick Road. Just happens one of the Bonus Bricks appeared when I was taking a screenshot for you. When you see the bar, click it and it will then open a window for you to submit your information to see if you are a winner. Instant win prizes include: 100 gift cards for HSN (Home Shopping Network), $50 Visa cards, $10 Starbucks gift cards, copies of the L. Frank Baum Book, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,” signed movie posters, and other “Oz The Great and Powerful” products.

I’m one of the few ppl who actually sorta liked “return to oz” or whatever that “other Oz movie” was from way back. So I bet I would love this new Oz movie too! Can’t wait!
