Sister Schubert's Review
One of my favorite forms of carbohydrates would be bread. I can eat bread plain without any meat or condiments. I especially love sourdough bread and rolls. I received some Yeast Rolls, Dinner Yeast Rolls and Cinnamon Rolls from Sister Schubert's for review. Now the dinner rolls are honestly the best rolls I have ever had. They have these Yeast Rolls that come in a pan and then they have the Dinner Yeast Rolls that come in the bag. The rolls that come in the bags are my favorite. Now both of the yeast rolls are good, but the Dinner Yeast Rolls are my favorite. I could not wait to try them. I took a couple out of the bag and stuck them in the microwave for 10 seconds. I was in heaven and ate a whole bag of these yummy rolls to myself in a couple days. The directions say to cook them, but I could not wait. I did try them baked the other night when I BBQ'd for some friends and they were good that way too! This is something I definitely want to have on stock in my refrigerator.

If you love bread, you will love Sister Schuberts products too! They have more products that I have not mentioned like their Parkerhouse Rolls, Sausage Wrap Rolls, Orange Rolls, BlueBerry Rolls and more. You can buy their products on their website or use the Product Locator on their website to find a store near you that sells them. Their website has some recipes you might be intereted in, stories and even videos.

Country Bob's Review And Giveaway

I love to cook for my family! Now I am no chef by any means, but I enjoy cooking things like steak, hamburgers, chicken breast and so on. When cooking though, I have to have marinades, sauces, spices and all that good stuff to prepare my meals with. I recently received a couple bottles of the Country Bobs All Purpose Sauce to try. I had been hearing about this sauce on the internet for years now, but never had the chance to try it for myself. When I received the box, I knew I was going to test it out with my steaks I had waiting to cook in the refrigerator. I was very pleased on how it tasted with my steaks. So last night we had company over and had a BBQ. I mixed in the Country Bob's All Purpose sauce in my hamburger meat and made some awesome hamburger patties. My company liked the burgers as well as my husband!

Country Bob's has more than just the all purpose sauce I tried. They have a spicy all purpose sauce, bbq sauce and seasoning salt. With how much I love their all purpose sauce, I really would like to try their products too! If you know someone who enjoys cooking, they have an online gift shop where you can send gift packages to your family and friends.

This great sauce is not new on the market either. Back in 1968 Country Bob perfected the sauce of his dreams. He then began giving it to his family and friends. Then in 1977 he began selling it to the public. Now once you try it, you are more than likely going to be a lifelong customer of his! This is a condiment you can use on almost any meal!

Guess what? Al at Country Bob's has offered to give two of my lucky readers an opportunity to receive 2 bottles of the Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce too!

Luther Is Supporting Our Troops
I had to cut back my shopping the last few months due to the effect of the economy on our income. There are many though that have not been affected. I wish I could say I was one of those lucky ones. Many have turned to their credit cards and financing to get them through these times.

Have you heard of Luther Sales? It is an online store where you can purchase furniture, bedding, computers, TVs, cameras, video games and so on credit with LutherCharge. What is cool about Luther Sales they have a military program that will help our troops save on their purchases. For pre-paid orders, there is a 35% discount. There is a 25% discount if paid within 90 days of purchases. Now this might not sound like a whole lot, it will sound like quite a bit if you make a big purchase.

From what I have read, getting credit is not too hard. If you need financing, you might want to try and apply. If you are in the military, be sure to check out their Military Programs. They have FREE nationwide delivery too!

Couponizer Review

For those that read my blog, you know that I love to save money. When I shop online, I always look for coupon codes or promotional codes to save me money. I like to save coupons when I see coupons I know I can use. I have to admit that I tend to lose them or forget to use them. I always wanted to find the perfect coupon organization system that wasn't just one of those little coupon pouches you can buy at the dollar store.

I received The Couponizer for review and I am in LOVE with it! It is truly the best way to organize your coupons to save lots of money! The Couponizer is a neat wire bound booklet that has 22 different pockets to organize your coupons, shopping lists and a coupon tracker. Some of the 22 pockets include: Baby, Beverages Breakfast, Canned Goods and so on. It includes a little sorting mat to sort out your coupons while you are cutting them out. Inside are 3 plastic sleeves to store your gift cards. Don't let me forget to mention it comes with a a guide called "Your Guide To Smart Savings" that is written by the creator Amy Bergin, a plastic carrying bag to keep it safe and scissors too!

If you are a coupon cutter, you HAVE to get one of these.

You can buy one of these at their website at: www.couponizer.com. You can also find downloadable coupons and links to other coupon sites too!

For The Horse Lovers
Being online every day, I come across some pretty interesting websites at times. Seems like you can find a website about almost anything you search for. This is great when it comes to helping my kids with homework. Last night I had to find out what a congruent angle was, LOL. I am very thankful for the internet because I have met lots of online friends and learned how to generate income from it as well!

Today I came across a dating site for people who love horses. If you are a horse lover and single, this might be something for you to check out! This is a pretty different dating site I think! I am happily married but if I was a horse lover and looking for love, I would probably be interested in this website. The site is called equestrian cupid. You can visit there website and select a FREE sign-up to try their site out. It says on their site that it is an exclusive community for horse lovers and also equestrian singles. This site is intended for meeting horseback riding buddies, discover trails you might not know of and to pursue that country lifestyle you might be looking for!

Just when you think you have seen everything huh?

Hip-T Review And Giveaway
I have found a great addition to my wardrobe. I love to wear jeans and many of my shirts are a little too short for when I bend over. You probably know what I am talking about. You bend over and your underwear shows to everyone behind you. This has happened to me many of times and I hate it. There is not too many long shirts that I own either. I have a toddler, so not bending over is out of the question. I have seen people with a solution that I thought was them wearing two shirts. I always wanted that look that they had. I just happened to get lucky!

The solution I found is called Hip-T. I wish I would have found this sooner. The Hip-T is similar to the bottom half of a shirt. It goes around your hips over your jeans or pants to cover back side. You then just put a regular shirt on over it. With the Hip-T you will get the coverage of a full shirt without the top part of it. I just love mine! I received the black Hip-T with lace and now I want a white, pink and gray one too! They come in original, with lace on the bottom and print. If I had it my way, I would own them all!

The ladies over at Hip-T host a drawing for a complimentary Hip-T on their site each week. You can also receive FREE shipping in 2009 too!

These ladies are also offering one of my lucky readers a chance to win a Hip-T off your choice too!

How To Win! - Please leave individual comments for each of the following below. Be sure to also leave your email address so I can contact you if you are the winner. Remember to follow the first rule or all the others will not count.

TykeLight GloMate Review

I received the coolest night light for my daughter for review. It is the portable GloMate from Mobi. The GloMate comes in a milky white color, but once it is illuminated it will turn either a constant blue, green, or red. You can also choose for it to cycle between the three colors. It has a little black button on the bottom to change to which color you want it to glow.

This cool little light comes off the charger base too. This thing is so safe your children can sleep with it. If you keep it fully charged, it will provide up to 10 hours of constant light. It will turn on automatically when you remove it from the base. There is also a gentle sleep mode that will shut the GloMate off after 15 minutes.

I showed this to my 4 year old Hannah and she immediately wanted it out of the box. I took it out of the box and plugged it in to charge. It was ready for her to use when it was time for bed. She showed it to my 1 year old son who was amused by the changing colors too! I put it by his crib so he could watch it turning colors while he fell asleep. My daughter was ready to start playing with it when she woke up too!

This thing is truly awesome! It has even won the 2008 Greatest Products iParenting Media Award with more than 1 million of these sold. I recommend this product for any of you with little ones. It is soft, comforting and has heat-free LED illumination that will amuse your children.

Get Your Mobi TykeLight Glomate at: www.getmobi.com/tykelight_glomate.html

For Those That Sell Handmade Items
I found a really cool site for those of you who make and sell handmade stuff. The site is called Art Fire and allows users to sell your handmade gifts with no fees. You can sign up for a basic user that allows you to sell up to 10 items at a time for free. For the larger sellers, there is a monthly fee. Right now you can sign up for the larger account for only $7 per month.

I thought this is very cool for those who can afford to list their stuff on Ebay anymore.

Biker Mommy, Not!
My husband is one of those men who loves motorcycles. I have to admit they scare me. I have known several people to get in serious accidents on them so I am afraid to ride one myself. We have a nice Harley though that sits in the garage. I actually rode on it this past week for the first time. I did not go very far though, just down the street. Before I would get on it though, I had to get protection for my head! They have a Harley Davidson retail shop here in Sacramento so this week I got the cutest white and pink helmet. They have us a great deal on it too! Now all I need is some motorcycle boots to go with my new helmet. I was actually thinking of getting myself a cute jacket too.

Today I was looking at CopShoes.com for some boots for my husband. He needs some boots too because he does not own any! They have a huge variety of boots of all types. If you are looking for some boots for work, this would be the site to look at. They offer free shipping for orders over $100 too!

Saving Money With Coupons
I am one that does a ton of shopping online, especially at Christmas time. Since I have four kids, taking them shopping can be a pain so I have found that shopping from home is quite convenient. When I do shop online, especially at the large merchants, I try to find promo or discount codes before I make my purchase. I am usually successful at either finding a way to get free shipping, a certain percent off my total or maybe even a free gift.

I found a site tonight where you can look for these types of coupons and discounts. This site is GoGoShopper.com. They have Walmart coupons, Dell coupons, JCPenney coupons, Kohls coupons and many more. If you are an online shopper, this might be a site to bookmark!

Baby Dipper Review
I have found the coolest bowl to feed my son with. Yesterday I put Christopher is his high chair so I could get his lunch ready for him. I heard a knock on the door and it was the mailman with a package. I quickly opened it to find my new Baby Dipper Bowl and Spoon set. What perfect timing! I immediately took the bowl out of the package and went to the sink and rinsed it off. I then dumped his lunch in the new bowl. The contents of the jar of baby food fit perfect!

I went over to him and asked if he wanted to try out his new spoon & bowl. He smiled of course knowing it was time to eat. I have to admit, this bowl is pretty handy. This bowl has a contoured interior so I can feed my son with one hand, because if you are like me, you are always multitasking. The bowl also has a non-slip base for those of you who have toddlers who are learning to feed themselves. The bowl has a spoon shaped lower corner so you can easily grab the food with the spoon. It is also see through so your kids can see the food that is inside.

Christopher was pretty happy with his new bowl and spoon. He did take the spoon from me and wanted to play with it. It kept him amused for a few minutes. He is going to be using this when he learns to feed himself with a spoon too! Right now he would probably make a big mess if I left him to feed himself. He gives this bowl a thumbs up and so does mom!

The Baby Dipper Bowl & Spoon set is a definite must have for those who have infants and toddlers. This great product was created by a mom of two set of twins named Barbara Schantz, read her story here.

Here is some additional info on the Baby Dipper:

  • It holds 4 fluid ounces.
  • It is 4 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 1 3/4 inches deep.
  • It is microwave safe

Buy It: You can buy one of these awesome bowl & spoon sets at her site at http://www.babydipper.com

Virus Removal - Keeping Your Computer Protected

If you are online, you better have some sort of virus program installed on your computer. I would recommend using a well known company as well that does updates to their software on a regular basis. Some of these companies update daily to keep their customers safe from risks. I know when I get online each day, I make sure my virus protection is up and running. I always make sure I keep it up to date as well. On top of virus protection, make sure your computer is safe from spyware and malware too! It is a shame that we have to put protection on our computers because people want us to download their viruses, adware, spyware, etc. Too bad those same people that create these bad and time consuming problems don't use their time to build something the world can use.

One of these programs I would recommend is CyberDefender. They have a virus eemoval program called CyberDefender Early Detection Center that protects your computer against spyware, viruses, malware, adware, phishing scams and potential spam that might harm your computer. This is a all in one security suite for your computer that is very inexpensive. You can also try this program out before you buy.

Believe me, keep your computer safe. I have lots some important data in the past from not keeping my computer protected.

When Times Are Hard
I know that the economy is affecting so many people these days. I know several people who have lost their homes due to foreclosure. I also know people who have lost jobs and have taken low paying jobs just to survive. It makes you wonder how long will this last. When will we start seeing a change for the better.

If you are in debt, but want to learn how to get out of it, take a peek at www.billconsolidation.net. This site can help you learn what bill consolidation is and what the different types of bill consolidation are. It helps to know your options when you are behind on your payments. For some of your bills, you might be able to request a loan modification to lower your payments. Sometimes this helps get back on the right track having a lower payment due each month. If you have old bills you want to get rid of, maybe a debt settlement might be the option for you.

Keeping your bills paid is an important part of keeping your credit rating in good status. With the economy being poor, many are gaining more personal debt just to survive. Many are using their credit cards for things they would normally write a check for. Just know your options before you damage your credit. Do your research and see what type of help is available for you!

Envirosax Bag Giveaway

I have seen many different reusable bags, but the Envirosax bags really caught my attention. They are the talk on the internet with all their cool designs. I was lucky to receive their Mikado Bag 5 from their Mikado Series. The Mikado Series is inspired by the ornate but simple Japanese style. These are part of their Graphic Series that has 35 different designs. They also have an Organic Series, Kids Series, and Greengrocer Series. Keeping Myself Young
I was out a few days ago and a gal had asked my age. I told her I was 32 and she was surprised. She said that I looked younger. Than another gal also agreed that I looked younger than my age. I took this as a compliment and felt good all day. I do use some anti-aging products on my face to keep myself looking as young as possible. I use cream on my face after I shower and around my eyes. With that compliment, I will continue to use products like the one I currently use. We also talked about getting old and getting arthritis and osteoporosis. I know I should be drinking more milk than I do for the calcium. How does one avoid getting arthritis. I know there is arthritis pain relief cream and calcium supplements, but how does one avoid this in general. I am always thinking of how I don't want to get old. I don't want to be in pain and relying on others to take care of me. I know it is a part of life, but I want to avoid it as long as I can.

The Mindful Living Network
Have you heard of the Mindful Living Network? It is a network online that entertains and educates their viewers on how to bring meaning to their lives. This network was created by the motivational keynote speaker Dr. Kathleen Hall. She is recognized internationally as a lifestyle expert in stress and work/life balance. It has some very useful information on the website for those that are stressed out!

This community has some online reality shows you can watch that will teach you how to live life. They have a playroom on their site where you can be a kid and play games. They have games for everyone here. A place you can take some time off for yourself and have a little fun. If you like to interact on online forums, they have message boards you can communicate with the other members of the site on. You can ask questions and share your concerns.

Take a visit to the site and learn what mindfulness is all about. You will learn that the relationships we are in, our health, work, and our planet depends upon living a life in balance through mindfulness. They have a Mindful Living Quiz I took on their website that resulted in learning that I can benefit from their website.

JLife Swell Mousse Review

I have very thin hair. It may be long, but it is thin. I am always trying to find products to make my hair feel thicker. I received a bottle of JLife Swell Mousse and have been using it the last few days. I really like this stuff. After I take a shower, I towel dry my hair and put some of this mousse in the palm of my hand and rub it in my hair. I do it a few times and when my hair is dry, it does feel thicker. This stuff also helps prevent flyaway hair because it is anti static.

JLife has a whole complete line of hair care products. They have volumizing sprays, serums, thickening shampoo & conditioners, leave in conditioners, gel, modeling clay, wax, spritzs and much more. I am looking forward to trying additional products from their line.

A Trip To The Tanning Salon Soon?

Even though I live in California, I am one of those moms that like to take advantage of tanning beds. I like to be tan but I don't like to lay out in the hot sun to achieve the nice golden tan that I want to have. Last summer I was pregnant so I had to cancel my membership and no tanning bed for me. Now that I am not pregnant and summer is going to be here before I know it, I have been thinking of going back to the tanning booth again!

Anyone else use tanning beds? I usually limit my use of them though, because I am one that still worries about skin cancer. I used to want to own my own tanning salon and get Tanning Salon Financing when I was in my early twenties! Now I just work from home. Maybe one day I woill get a tanning bed in my house. Life is great!

Just Be Review
I am one of those moms who like to wear t-shirts quite often. They are comfortable and easy to match with a pair of cute jeans. I don't wear just plain t-shirts though, I like them to make an impression when I wear them. I have some shirts with some very cute images and sayings on them. I was so excited when I received my "Just Be Muddy" t-shirt from the Just Be Shop. I put it on and it was very comfortable! Since I have 4 children, there tends to be times when I get muddy. I remember a couple years ago we turned our backyard into a mini dirt bike track and boy did we get muddy. My husband wet down the back yard with a hose and the house even got covered in mud. I thought this t-shirt fit me perfect and I am going to be proud to wear it. I can't wait until my son gets a little older and starts getting muddy too!

Just Be offers some very innovative apparel for all. They have shirts for men, woman, children toddlers and infants. My t-shirt I received is very nice, thick and made from super soft fine jersey fabric. I know I can put some wear and tear into this t-shirt. It is sure to hold up after I wash it several times. I am very impressed with the quality of their t-shirts.

Just Be also has a line of organic apparel too! Their organic shirts are printed with water-based inks that make them very eco-friendly. If you have an infant and live a green life, their organic cotton onesies just might be perfect for your baby's clothing collection.

Some of the other t-shirts you might be interested in say: "Be A Sweetheart", "Just Be Fabulous", "Just Be Yourself", "Just Be Organic" and "Just Be Funky". These are just some of them, not all! Be sure to check out their website to see which one is your favorite.

What is cool about the Just Be apparel and accessories is that they are built around an online community for people to share just how they Just Be. They use MySpace, Facebok, Twitter and Youtube. These communities are able to share how they Just Be by uploading photos and videos to the blog and other social networking sites. These communities range from tweens, teenagers, adults and even parents! How cool is that?

Since Valentine's Day is next month, they are offering 20% off their Valentine's Day themed t-shirts. Be sure to check these out!

Free Scholarships Site
Being a mom of 4 children, I am always thinking about how I am going to afford to send all my children to college if they want to go. I am hoping that they all want to go, but as you know, college can be quite expensive. There is a website that helps you find free scholarships for your children. Or maybe you are looking for a free scholarship for yourself. The site says they only let people enter for free scholarships that are in a college because they need a college to send the check to. You can still join and accumulate points to redeem at a later point if you or your child is not currently enrolled in college.

The website ScholarshipPoints.com allows you to join their site FREE and earn points towards free scholarships. Once you join and login, you can complete simple online activities that will earn you points in your account. Your points can then be redeemed for entries into scholarship drawings. There is no time limit on how long you can accrue your points. The site says that those in middle school can start accumulating points now to redeem once they are in college.

They have free monthly scholarship giveaways up to $10,000. Who knows, you might just win some free scholarships!

Boogie Wipes Review & Giveaway

My packages of Boogie Wipes could not have came at a better time. My daughter Hannah who is 4 goes to preschool and ends up coming home quite often with colds, coughs and runny noses. This week she had a runny nose, fever and cough. Her poor little nose was getting quite sore from blowing it so often with tissue. What is worse is trying to get the dried yucky stuff off around her nose once it is already sore.

I was excited to receive two packages of Boogie Wipes this week. These are not just ordinary baby wipes. Boogie Wipes are saline-infused and work very well on cleaning up your infant or toddler. They contain no alcohol, so they will not dry or sting the skin. They are hypoallergenic and gentle enough for all ages. What is neat is they come in a grape scent as well as unscented. Your children just might want to use these so they smell like a grape! These are something you will want to add to your medicine cabinet for when your little ones get sick. Not only are they good for when your child has a boogie nose, they work well on cleaning up your children after meals and such.

When I showed the wipes to Hannah, she told me they were for her baby brother Christopher. I told her no, they were for her. I told her they were "Boogie Wipes" and they were to clean the boogies around her nose. She thought that was really funny. I have used regular baby wipes in the past to clean her face and she did not like it. To my surprise, she immediately wanted to try one to see if it worked. She cleaned up her face without any complaints and tossed the wipe into the trash. She was then using them on her own later that evening and the following day. I am going to have to stock up on these during the winter!

Boogie Wipes come in packages of 30 wipes. You can get the 30 count packages in either original or grape scent. They also have Boogies On The Run. These are boxes of 10 individually wrapped wipes. These also come in original or grape scent. These would make a great addition for your purse, lunchbox or diaper bag.

Guess What? Boogie Wipes is giving one of my lucky readers 2 packages of Boogie Wipes to try. The winner will receive a package of the original scent and a package of the grape scent.

How To Win! - Please leave individual comments for each of the following below. Be sure to also leave your email address so I can contact you if you are the winner. Remember to follow the first rule or all the others will not count.

Cute Prego Clothes
The other day I was talking about stylish clothes for moms. What is fun is wearing cute and stylish clothes when you are pregnant. I remember when I was first pregnant in 1997, there was not the cute maternity clothes available that you can find now. There is a maternity store online that you might want to check out if you are pregnant. This store is called Kiki's Fashions and they have some really cute stuff. They have great prices too! They have a section with maternity tops for under $10.

If you are interested, here are some ways you can save some money at Kikis.
* Use coupon code "FREESHIP" to get free shipping on orders over $75
* Use coupon code "JAN09" to save 15% off your purchase

They have some cute items in their clearance section too! You know me, I am always looking for the bargains.

Smart Mom Jewelry Review
I was excited when I received my Teething Bling Set from SmartMom. I got the pink camouflage set that is pictured in this post. The set includes a pendant, coordinating bangle bracelet and keychain. It also includes a gift card with envelope if you want to give this as a gift to someone. If you don't like pink but like camo, they also come in blue, green and tan.

Since my son is at the teething stage and likes to put almost everything he can in his mouth I thought this just might be perfect to entertain him. This new teething bling is non-toxic and 100% lead free. Smart Mom Jewelry is also phthalate, BPA and PVC free.

So I just had to try it out to see what my son thought of it. I put on the necklace and bracelet. I bent down and picked him up. He immediately grabbed the necklace and put the pendant in his mouth. He must have known it was for him! When it was time for dinner I ended up having to take the necklace off and let him hold because he did not want to give it up. He also enjoyed chewing on the bracelet after dinner. This might definitely be something you want to put in your diaper bag when you go on an outing. It might just entertain your little one when you need it.

You can buy either a gift set or each piece individually. They have a variety of colors too! To find out more about the Smart Mom Teething Bling, visit http://www.smartmomjewelry.com

It Can Be Cold Here In My House
Do any of you have those old wall heaters in your home? I have to admit that I own a rather old house. Well, it was built in 1958 so it is going on 51 years old this year. My grandmother was the first owner of the house, when she passed a few years ago, I became the proud owner. One of the things I dislike about my house is the heating and cooling. It is very old fashioned to me. I used to live in an apartment for most of my life and was used to the central heating and air. Even the house I lived in before this one was converted.

Another problem is I have 2 wall heaters and only one of them work. Luckily the one in the back of the house by our bedrooms works. So we can sleep and be nice and warm. It takes hours for the heat to come to the living room and kitchen area. Right now, I cannot afford to hire a heating contractor just yet to fix my problem so I just deal with it. I can admit that I have turned on the oven a few times and left it open to warm up my kitchen where I work at. Yes, my desk is in my kitchen but that is OK! I have a perfect view to the living room where I can watch my kids and work at the same time.

Happy Birthday Ariyona
Yesterday, my oldest daughter Ariyona turned 12 years old. Wow, have the years flew by. It seems like she was just turning 5 and going into kindergarten. Now, my youngest daughter is on her way to 5 and will be starting kindergarten later this year. You really have to take each day for what it is worth because they just go by so darn fast.

I taught myself HTML and how to create basic websites when I was pregnant with Ariyona. I knew then that I wanted to stay at home with my kids and make money at home. While it did not happen overnight, I have accomplished my goal of working at home for myself!

Donate For A Good Cause
Have you done a good deed lately by donating to the needy? I just took a bunch of clothes and miscellaneous stuff to my local Goodwill the other day. I was giving a house a makeover and decided to give away a bunch of stuff I really did not need anymore. I usually save my daughter Hailey's clothes she outgrows for Hannah but decided to give them away. With how fast these children grow, I always have a house full of clothes. Hannah has been the hand me down queen but she does not mind because she is young. I know she probably will prefer new clothes later down the road so I will take advantage of her wearing her sister's hand me downs while I can.

Did you know that Goodwill does goodwill car donations. People have been donating cars since the 70's to help those who are in need. What they do is sell the cars to support employment, job training and placement programs with those with disadvantages. There is also a benefit to donating your vehicle. You can get a tax deduction for your donation. So if you have a car that you have no plans for, give it away and get a tax deduction for it. I know when I donate, I have a good feeling that comes about!

ProMom Couture Review & Giveaway
Are you one of those moms who loves to dress in cute or trendy clothing? I have to say I feel really good wearing something I think looks good on me, rather it be something name brand or just an item I think is really cute. Style is important to me when I go out of the house, even if it is just a trip to the grocery store. I can also admit that I am picky on what I wear. My clothing has to fit just perfectly or I won't wear it. I try to see if the clothing fits my shape before I buy.

I was very excited when I received this really cute tank top from ProMom Couture. When I opened the package I just hoped it was going to fit me. I ran to my bedroom and tried it on. I was so happy, it looked GREAT on me! I had to wear it the rest of the day even though it was a chilly day here in California. The tank top is red and says "Knock Out Mom". This tank is really soft and comfortable too! I am going to love showing it off this summer, especially on trips the beach with my kids.

ProMom Couture believes in celebrating motherhood in style. This is not just their tag line, this is their mission statement for moms. They create their designs to us make moms feel special, hip and stylish. Just my cup of tea! I encourage you to take a visit to their site to see just how awesome their t-shirt and tanks really are. They also have some cute stationary that with their designs on it as well!

Need Help Meeting Someone?
I am lucky that I married my best friend. It took quite a few years for us to tie the knot, but we finally did it. I know how lonely it was when I was single years ago. I love having a companion to share my life with. Some people prefer to be single and some are looking for that right person.

Do you ever receive those envelopes in the mail that have the heart sticker on the front? You know the letters that say "Great Expectations"? I use to receive those all the time but I have not seen one in years. Well, they have an online community on top of their other services they provide. This dating service has been around for years, so you know it must work! They have 36 convenient locations for those looking to find someone special. They have a Great Expectations - Atlanta, GA, in Los Angeles, Portland, Long Island and more. You can take a look on their site for all their different locations.

They screen each of their members to help the dating process be a safe one. They even have hosted events too! Might be something to check out!

My Big Boy
On Friday I took my son for a well baby checkup. He will be 1 years old on the 28th of this month. I was dreading this appointment because he needed a set of shots. Even though he is not my first baby, I don't like seeing my kids in pain. Hannah was even upset at the fact that her brother was going to get shots, she almost cried.

When the appointment first started my son was already cranky and I knew he was going to be very mad when it was time for the shots. He was tired and wanted mommy to hold him. I had to undress him down to his diaper to get weighed and boy did that make him mad. He weighed 25 1/2 pounds. He is quite the healthy boy. He is also tall for his age too! I am hoping he is going to be my football player when he gets old. A doctor will also do!

After he had his shots, he had to get his blood drawn. Now that really made his day, NOT. I had to hold him down and when I thought they were done, they had to try on his other arm. So he left the doctors office with bandaids on his legs and cotton swabs taped to both of his arms. My poor baby! Hannah has to get a shot next month and that is going to be DRAMA with her.

Baby Slings
Have you ever used a baby sling with your baby. A baby sling is something I never used but always wanted to. I think my son might be too old right now, he would probably want to get out of it. Are you in need of a baby sling? There is a website called BabySling.com that carries a variety of different baby slings to choose from. I seen that you can search the slings by age. They go up to 36 months so I may still have time to try one out. One baby sling in particular that you might like is the ergo baby carrier. It is a gently padded baby sling with shoulder straps and a wide waist band designed to evenly distribute your baby’s weight.

On this site you have a variety of ways to find the perfect baby sling. You can search by age, brand, style and by price. You can even buy their overstock and customer returns. What is cool is you can buy a sling for under $15 from this site. If you know someone that is pregnant, they also offer gift certificates you can buy from the site. With buying a gift certificate, the mom can buy the sling she things would fit her and her child best.

Piggy Paint Review And Giveaway
I am a mommy to 3 daughters and 1 son. With that said, I am always being asked to paint fingernails and toes! My oldest who will be 12 will usually ask if she can paint them herself. I usually dread when this question comes up because the first thing that comes to my mind is the mess that might come about. My husband also really dislikes the smell of nail polish, so we will usually try to paint our nails when he is not around.

I was excited yesterday when I received a bottle of Piggy Paint to review. I had read online about this product and seen that the ingredients in this stuff were non toxic. I had also heard that it was odorless too. Now this was something I just had to see for myself. When I opened the box with the Piggy Paint, I immediately opened the container and started to sniff the paint. My husband looked at me like I was crazy. I simply told him that I was smelling this new kind of nail polish that does not smell like nail polish. To my surprise, what I had heard was true, there was no smell.

This morning after my 4 year old daughter Hannah ate breakfast, I told her I had some Piggy Paint and I wanted to paint her toenails. She was so excited and wanted to see what I was talking about. I told her that she needed to get dressed for school first and I would paint her nails once she got dressed. She ran to her room and picked out her outfit for the day. She got dressed and then sat down and put her foot on my knee ready for her pedicure. Before I started painting she wanted to see the bottle for herself. She really got a kick out of the picture of the pig on the bottle and started laughing. What was cool was I received the "Girls Rule" color which matched the shirt she was wearing for today. After I painted her toes, the polish dried really fast and she insisted on her fingernails being painted as well. I could not say no, she was so happy. She also insisted on carrying around the bottle of polish around the house until I took it away. Having tile floors, I did not want her to drop the bottle on accident. This polish really ROCKS! We can now paint our nails and not have to worry about stinking up the house. My daughter could not wait to go show her teacher today, the polish on her fingernails that mommy had painted.

I thought I would share some additional information about Piggy Paint you might want to know. Piggy Paint is:
  • Non-toxic
  • Odorless
  • Water based
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Dries to a hard and durable finish

Guess What? Melanie at Piggy Paint has sent me the "Toe-Tally Gift Pack" for one of my lucky readers (Value $26.50). This gift pack includes 3 awesome colors (Forever Fancy, Angel Kisses & Girls Rule). The Girls Rule is the bottle I have and my daughters and I just LOVE it.

How To Win It! - Please leave individual comments for each of the following below. Be sure to also leave your email address so I can contact you if you are the winner. Remember to follow the first rule or all the others will not count.

1) Visit the Piggy Paint website and tell me what your favorite color is.

Custom Built Dream Homes
Now if there is something I would like to do one day, it would be to have my own dream home built how I want it. I currently own my own home, but it is old and definitely not my dream home. It is small and only has one bathroom. My dream home would have at least 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I would want a room for each of my children as well as an extra room for my home office. I would also want a big kitchen with those islands in the middle. There is a company that helps customers build their own dream homes called Schumacher Homes. They have been helping families build their dream homes for over 16 years. For those that have had your own home built, I do envy you. I hope to accomplish the same thing someday for my family.

If you are interested, check out visit the Schumacher Homes Reviews. You can read different stories from actual people who have had their homes built by Schumacher Homes. I think it is pretty fun just to read about people achieving their dreams. Dreams do come true and I hope that goes for my family as well.

A Dream Vacation
I have always wanted to take a vacation to France, Italy and Rome. I have seen many movies that take place in these locations which makes me want to take a trip there someday. My favorite movie when I was younger was "National Lampoons European Vacation". I remember them going to the Eiffel Tower and going around Big Ben. Since then, I have wanted to go see these places in person. I don't know if this will always be a dream vacation but I hope not. I was born in California and been here my whole life. I have traveled as far as Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Canada and Mexico. When my children are grown and move out, I want to travel to each of the states in the United States. That has always been one of my lifetime goals. I want to buy one of those big travel RVs and take a trip around the United States.

I keep my hopes up though of one day taking a European vacation. Of course it would be a dream to take my whole family there as well. My oldest daughter is turning 12 this month, so hopefully it will be before she leaves the nest here. For those that can take a vacation, they have some pretty cool vacation rentals. Just take a look online at Vacationrentalrome.com or search for: vacation rentals rome italy. You can rent luxury apartments or hotels to accommodate your needs.

Almost To 1000 Posts
I have been publishing this blog for over 4 years now. When I first started blogging, I really had no idea what I was doing. I heard that blogging was a popular trend, so I hopped on the bandwagon. After finding how fun blogging actually was, I started many more blogs the last few years. I am excited because I am at almost 1,000 posts for this blog. This is a huge accomplishment for me. This post is actually post #970. Within a month, I will probably hit 1,000 mark at the rate I am going now.

Ever Been Snowboarding?
I have to admit that I have been snowboarding before. I think it was back in 2000 when I first tried this fun sport. I have also tried to ski on snow before on skis, but prefer using a snowboard. With it being winter I have been tempted to attempt snowboarding again. I remember having lots of fun the few times I went, but I did fall down quite a bit too! One thing I remember is riding up the ski lift and thinking I was going to fall at the top when it was time to get off. To my surprise, I did not fall. My falls were going down the hill when my speed got going fast and I panicked. I remember one fall and I sat in the snow laughing. The people going up the lift were staring at me wondering what was so darn funny.

The next time I go snowboarding I am going to dress warm. I have these really nice pants I bought just for the snow. I just need a jacket, hat and gloves to match. I guess I also would need a snowboard. In the past, I just rented one from the lodge I went boarding at. There is a cool site online that sells snowboarding equipment at BuySnow.com. They sell all sorts of riding essentials such as Burton snowboards, Burton clothing and much more. Maybe I will go this winter before the season ends!

Keep Yourself Looking Young
I am one of many that worries about looking old. I am only 32 years old but still think of ways I can prevent my body from aging. I wish there was some miracle out there to keep me young, but everyone gets old whether they like it or not. Each day though, I use cream on my face in hopes that it will help with the wrinkles I am doomed to get one day. I remember my mom in her twenties using the same stuff. She always got compliments on her looks and I hope to acheive the same. There are lots of different anti aging measures you can take to prevent yourself from aging. Or if you are aging already, you can help yourself look better.

If you live in New York, there is a doctor that specializes in anti aging. This doctor is Sergey Kalitenko and specializes in helping people look and feel younger. Hey, if you have the money, why not? It is now 2009 and time to start making goals. Maybe losing weight and looking better is on your top goal list. Be sure to check out your options as you are only young once!

Happy New Year

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I can't believe that 2008 went by so fast. I am going to be making some goals for myself this year. One of the goals is to make more money if possible! I am also hoping to start some of my own giveaways on this blog to attract more readers.

Until Next Time

Summer Camp This Year?

Are you planning to send you children or child away to summer camp this year? My oldest daughter is in the 6th grade and will be going on a 1 week trip in March with her school. This will be the first time she will be away from family for that long. I got a few months to get prepared for it though. I am thinking that once she does this, she might want to go to a summer camp too!

If you live near PA, there is Poconos Summer Camp or Camp Kresge. It is a YMCA camping facility which is also a retreat and conference center. Camp Kresge is on 1100 acres. This place has 12 cabins that sleep 8-10 people divided into 2 villages. There is also a place for tents that can house about 25 campers. Might be something you want to check out next summer!

Zenses For Nintendo DS
If your child has a Nintendo DS you will want to check out the Zenses series for yourself. Might be something you want to play when your child is at school and you have free access to their DS. If you have not heard of Zenses, it is something you will enjoy if you want to relax and play some adult games.

Find out more about this and enter for a chance to win at: http://www.sageandsavvy.com/2008/12/zenses-for-nintendo-ds.html
