When I go to the California State Fair each year, I love getting the free

I hate when it rains because the ants like to invade my house. They either like to come and invade my bathroom or my kitchen pantry. Today I took all the food out of the pantry and put new contact paper on my shelves. I don't think that is going to fix the problem, but my shelves look better now. My mother in law advised me to buy those little ant traps. I think I might try those if the ants keep coming back.

If Santa could bring me anything, I would ask for a whole new wardrobe of clothes that fits perfect on me. I am picky about clothes these days. I am also one that will buy something, wear it once and never wear it again. So I would definitely need the clothes to fit perfectly. I love the Baby Phat clothing line. I remember about 7 or 8 years ago when the Phat Farm clothing came out. My husband had many different outfits. Right now I have a cute pair of Baby Phat shoes. I am trying to get back into the swing of visiting my favorite blogs and leaving comments. I feel that leaving comments might get the author of the blog to visit my site as well as some of their readers. I really enjoy posting to blogs that use the
Comment Luv plugin. These are Wordpress blogs though, not Blogger blogs. This plugin shows the commenter's last post on their blog. This plugin will attempt to parse the feed of the comment author by visiting their blog and looking for their feed while they type their comment and appends it once they submit.

The new year is only days away. I have been thinking recently of goals I want to make for myself for next year. One thing I know I want to do is make more money. I want to be able to pay off some of the debt I have that does not seem to go away. I have these old credit cards that I only pay the minimum amount due which I want to pay off. I also want to take a class or two to gain some additional skills in web design.
I have been wanting to take a class in graphics for a long time now. I want to be able to make images for myself rather than pay someone to create them for me. I know how to create some basic images, but I want to learn more advanced techniques. I was thinking of looking for classes online. I think learning in
virtual classroom might be easier than going to a school outside the home. Having a family of six, it is not always easy to get away each day. Now I would love to be able to go to school each day, but putting my kids in daycare is not my thing. I think that when they are all in school would be a perfect time to venture to college. Now, I have had my fair share of college though. I started college right after I graduated high school. With web design as my career, there are always new things to learn though.
I have to look online and see what they offer for graphic design. There might just be something online for me to join.

Sleep is very important for your health. As you know, when you don't get enough sleep you may become very grumpy and tired. This is how I get when I don't get enough sleep. I know that my body needs at least 8 hours of good rest to make the next day enjoyable. Sleep is something our bodies need to do each night. Sleep is not an option for your body. Even though the exact reasons for sleep remain a mystery to us, we do know that when we sleep many of our body's major organ and regulatory systems continue to work.
To get a good night's rest, you should have a nice comfortable bed to sleep in. While this is not a necessity, it is definitely a pleasure for many.

One of my favorite foods is steak! I like my steak to have lots of seasonings as well as some A-1 sauce to top it off. I don't normally go to
Outback Steakhouse because it can be expensive with a family of six. We did get a gift certificate for Christmas, so me and the hubby went out last night and had some steak and garlic mashed potatoes. Oh so yummy! Luckily I had leftovers and had some for lunch today. Who knows when my next visit there will be!

I am sad to say that I am glad that Christmas is over. Each year I spend more than I should because I like to give! Now that it is over, I can now get back on track of managing my checkbook. It was a good Christmas though. It was my son's first Christmas and he enjoyed ripping wrapping paper and trying to eat it. Hannah was so thrilled this year. She is 4 1/2 and could not wait for Santa to come. I just can't wait for next year when my son will really be getting down on opening gifts.
The picture is kind of dark in this post, but it is my son opening his gift from Santa. His shirt has Rudolph on it that blinks. I happened to get the picture with his nose glowing!

It is too late to shop online for Christmas presents now unless you are giving gifts late. I am sure you can still find some great online deals though! I had to run out to Walmart, Target and Kohls the last couple nights to pickup last minute gifts. I think I am done shopping. I wanted to buy more, but with the economy the way it is I had to do a little bit of bargain shopping this year. Usually I buy more, but oh well! I have four kids so I had to do quite a bit of shopping this year. My tree is full of gifts, but just think this. If I was to buy each child 10 gifts, that is already 40 gifts under the tree. My Nana brought over gifts for the family so they are going to be excited tomorrrow when Santa comes!

I am amazed by the amount of people I come in contact that don't know what is on their credit report. I worked at a collection agency for eight years and know it is very important to always check your
credit report. You want to make sure that there is not stuff on there that is not supposed to be. You also want to make sure that all the bad stuff that should be gone is deleted. For those that don't know, negative items can only report for seven years. Sometimes the creditors though, do not delete or remove the negative mark right away. It is your job as the consumer to make sure your credit report is correct. I think you should at least pull your credit report once or twice a year. Then review your credit report and dispute the things that are inaccurate. See, when you dispute the inaccurate items, the creditor has 30 days to report back if the item is being report correctly. If they don't report back, it is then removed. There are three main credit reporting agencies you should be aware of. These are Transunion, Experian and Equifax.
If you cannot afford a credit report, see if you qualify or can receive a
free credit report. If you go to
www.3freecreditreportsnow.com you can get a 3 in one credit report that gives you your credit reports from all three of the agencies I mentioned before. You can also sign up for Identity Guard which will give you your credit scores and daily monitoring too!

My baby boy is going to be 11 months old on the 28th! Yesterday, he pulled himself up for the first time. He did it a few times trying to grab something. I bet in no time he will be walking. I also took the kids to see Santa too! This was his first Santa experience. You should have seen him, he was looking up at Santa like what the heck are you! Hannah asked Santa for a Dora watch. I bet Santa will bring one too!

I always make Christmas cookies each year to give as gifts. They seem to make good gifts for the men on my shopping list that I don't know what to buy for. Usually I make those peanut butter blossom cookies. Those are the ones that are the peanut butter flavored cookies the Hershey Kiss on the top. I might make those but am looking for other recipes to make that I have not tried before. Any ideas?

I am one that spends a majority of my time online writing. I do this for fun as well as being paid for it. I created a post on a forum last week asking for resources on different ways to make money writing articles. I was told to take a look at the site

Since I have three daughters, the bathroom here is always crowded with girls. There is also my son and his daddy! My son is still in diapers so I am not having to fight for the bathroom with him yet. What sucks is I only have one bathroom in this house. Sometimes I wonder if buying this house was a great idea after all. The main reason I bought this house was I was raised in it when I was a small child and it was my grandmothers. I don't know if you seen that movie "Soul Food", but I didn't want someone else to have this house. I lost both my father and my grandmother and this house is where all my memories of them are. I am hoping that someday I can afford to buy a bigger house and maybe rent this one to a family member that would take care of it.
With a family of six, I think we need a bigger house with at least two bathrooms. My dream would be a six bedroom house with 3 bathrooms. I would like to have one bathroom in my room as well as 2 guest bathrooms. I would also like my bathroom to have a fancy
bathroom furniture. I would like a big bathroom with a big whirlpool. A nice big
vanity as well as some nice
bathroom cabinets. I guess we could always add on to this one!
You know, maybe one day I will hit the jackpot and my dreams will come true. I am always working on my computer trying to make more money online. I am constantly thinking of new website ideas, blog ideas, etc. I know that sometimes hard work pays off in the long run. I do need some more motivation though. When things get busy, I tend to slow down my pace and work less. Working for myself at home has many advantages. It also comes with the disadvantage of having the option to be LAZY. I am not really lazy much, I just get distracted very easily. Having four kids, I am sure you can see where the distraction might come in.
Having a big house someday with an extra bedroom for a home office might help! Right now my home office is my kitchen. That is okay for now though! As long as I can stay home, make money and spend time with my family I am happy. I have dreams and maybe just one day they will come true!

Today my daughter had her first Christmas party at school. She is in preschool and is loving every minute of it. She is such the social butterfly at that. Today, at her party they had a puppet show for the kids. My son Christopher got to watch the puppet show and LOVED it. The show was almost an hour long and he was amazed with most of it. Towards the end, he wanted to see what else was going on. For the most part, I was impressed!

I have been highlighting my hair blonde for over a year now. The gal that normally does the highlighting though is missing in action. See, she usually comes over my house to do my hair. Having 6 kids, I don't get out too often to pamper myself. A couple months ago when it was time for more color, her phone number is disconnected. I have very long hair and don't just let anyone start putting chemicals in my hair. So now, I am thinking of what I should do next. My roots keep growing and I am dying to get my hair done again. Many of the times she was doing my hair, I tried to see what she was doing as well as the chemicals she was using. I thought maybe I could figure it out for myself. With my hair being as long as it is, I don't want to risk messing up. I have permed my hair before though with no problems. I even have all the spiral perm rods, chemicals and stuff. I have haven't had the desire for curly hair though in quite some time. Before, my hair always had to be permed. Now, it has to be straight.

I am one that is always thinking about packing up and moving states. I am currently in California and have been in this state my whole entire life. One thing I know is that the costs of living here in California tend to be more expensive than some of the states. Many choose to live here because of the good jobs and the income you can make here. Right now with the economy, things are not going so well as usually for many. With me, I can move to whatever state I want to live in and make the same amount of money. I am mobile! I choose to stay here mainly because my family is here. Someday, I want to venture out and move somewhere back East where things are a little cheaper. Plus, I want to travel and try out different places.

I remember going to Sea World in San Diego when I was very young. My uncle was in the Navy and my mom and Nana took me on a vacation to San Diego to see him and his ship. While we were there, I got to go to Sea World too. This is a place I would love to take my family someday. You know what is funny is I still remember the souvenir my mom bought me. It was this bird head on this long plastic stick. When you pulled this handle, the mouth would open and close. I wonder what ever happened to that! They have the Sea World here in San Diego, San Antonio as well as one in Orlando Florida. If I could choose which one to go to, I would pick the Sea World in Orlando Florida. I have wanted to take a trip to Florida for as long as I can remember. I am in California, been here born and raised. I am now 32 years old and still stuck over on this part of the US.

Have you heard of a
PopATot? I can say that I just learned about this awesome device this morning while reading one of my favorite blogs.

If I was able to build my own dream home, I would definitely have a huge bathtub in my bathroom. I love taking baths, but my bathtub in my house is rather small. I would love to have one of those
whirlpool bathtubs someday to relax in. I am one that likes to relax in a nice hot bath with candles and mellow music. When I am real stressed out I find that taking a nice hot bath will help reduce my stress. I am a bath and body fanatic so I always use bath salts, bubbles, etc. You should see my bathroom, I have this 3 tier shelf thing with nothing but bath and body products. There are many benefits of taking a bath over taking a shower. If you are a lady, you will probably know what I mean. I am the bath and body queen of the house!

I have always loved the look of a nice big
grandfather clock in any home. I also love to hear when it rings at each and every hour. I think that these types of clocks, especially the Howard Miller
grandfather clocks would make a great asset to any home. Both my grandparents and my great grandparents have owned a nice
grandfather clock so I grew up as a kid wishing I could own one too! I wish I could have got the clock my great grandparents owned when they passed, but my aunt was quick to grab it because she had wanted to own it for years too because it had sentimental value of her. Looking at the clock reminds her of the good times with her grandparents. I would love to have one in my living room!
Now these
Howard Miller clocks aren't cheap either. You should see some of the new grandfather clocks
that have came out, they are NICE! If you have the money to afford one and the house for it I would go for it though. Now the prices may be affordable for some, but not all. It definitely sets the home off! Until today, I didn't know that Bulova made grandfather clocks too! If I was to buy one I would put it in my living room where everyone could see and hear it when they come over. I would want to show it off as much as I could.
