We rented a couple movies last night from Blockbuster. One of the movies we watched was the new release Hancock that came out. I thought it was pretty good for a superhero movie. I would recommend it! Most of Will Smith's movies are good anyhow. Anyone else agree?

It is almost 5pm here in California and I bet the stores are still buzzing with mad shoppers. I am one that will be doing a majority of my shopping online this year. Not only can I find discounts, free shipping, coupon codes and whatever else, I can enjoy shopping from the comfort of my own home. I don't like crowds and shopping with them is not my cup of tea. I remember a couple years go I went to Walmart at like 5am to wait in line for the doors to open. The lines were wrapped all around the building. I did manage to get a great deal on a TV, but I probably won't do that again. I remember there were so many people in the store, I was having problems pushing my cart without bumping into people.

Today people are out shopping like crazy for Black Friday. I am at home cleaning the dishes from last night and getting caught up on the laundry duties. Now I have been out shopping on Black Friday in the past years and got some really good deals.
One of the things that thousands if not millions of people get each year are new watches. Those who go to work each day usually like to have a watch to know what time it is at all times. TheWatchery.com has some really cool watches. They have a variety of the Corum watches such as the

Today I was talking about how I want to buy new couches for my living room. Well another thing I wouldn't mind changing in my house is the stuff in my bathroom. The

I posted earlier about searching online for new couches or sofas. I have not decided if it is something I want to try to buy now or wait. My son is 10 months old and soon will be walking and getting into everything. I still don't like the look of my couches when company is over. I have even thought that maybe couch covers might work for the time being. I like to impress company, so I am always thinking new this and new that. I was looking online at entertainment systems. The
entertainment center we have now goes around are Sony big screen. It is or should I say was the same color of our couches. If I was to get a new couch, I would also want a new entertainment center to match. Okay, these are my wants and not my needs. A girl can always dream can't she.
I guess while I am searching online, I should look at the
armoires and other
TV Consoles that are available. I have been wanting a new bedroom set for some time too. Normally I try to set my wants aside because I have four kids and they are always needing something before my wants. Like I said, I can dream!

I think my problem with my house may just be fixed. We ended up having to go buy a brand new water heater for our house. The one we had started to leak which water was coming in through the ground into our house. I had called Sears to come out to look at it, but they were going to charge $70 just to diagnose it. I figured buying one would be much cheaper. Luckily my husband and his friends were able to install the new water heater today. I am waiting to see if it works! I am crossing my fingers.

I am in need for new couches. The
Couches that I have are getting old. We bought them over four years ago before my daughter Hannah was born. They are real leather and are no longer the beige color we once got them in. I have tried cleaning them, but no luck on getting them restored to their original condition. I guess that is what you get when you have 4 kids. We were trying to keep them until my son got a little older. That way he could get his wear and tear out of them. Hannah just recently took a pair of scissors to one of them, and made a cut on one of the cushions. So now, that leaves an eye sore when I look at my
Leather Couches in the living room.
I have been looking online at buying new
Sofas in the near future. I don't like to go out shopping too much, so trying to find some online works for me. I am looking for a great deal. One store I found online is www.buycouchesonline.com. Last week we had the water district out in front of our house putting in new water lines. We are going to soon be metered for our water. Oh joy! Anyhow, they had messed up our yard while in the process. They sprinkled this weird green stuff on our lawn. I am guessing it is some type of fertilizer and said after the rain on Thanksgiving, it should start growing some grass. I was thinking, what if it does not rain? Well, tomorrow is Thanksgiving and its starting to rain outside right now. I am hoping the rain continues and this weird green stuff on my lawn starts growing into grass.

My first website back in 1996 was a site called The Free Market. It was a site I created on a free hosting community. It was fun but I then moved up and created a site on my own domain. I am one that loves to make my home smell good. I burn candles and have those fragrance things in my bathroom. I have been using the
Renuzit TriScents in my bathroom to make it smell nice. Having a cat with a litter box, you have to take extra measures to make sure your bathroom does not smell bad.
The Renuzit TriScents is so cool. It has three different scents with it. It rotates and automatically puts a little mist of fragrance in the air. It has three different fragrances it uses. Owning a house might not be the best thing in some cases. When I lived in an apartment and something went wrong, I would call the maintenance man and it would be fixed at their cost. Now when something breaks, I am the one responsible. We found out last night that my water heater is leaking. I am not sure what is going to be needed to fix this thing, hopefully not a replacement because I cannot afford to replace this thing. I called Sears since it is a Kenmore appliance and they said they would be out on Wednesday. Seems like one thing after another with this house.

I have been slacking lately on my forum posts. I usually try to create at least 50+ posts on different online forums that include my signature file. Hannah had fun at her field trip today. The trip was to Home Depot where she made a cute wood project. Her project was a hat rack with a football shape on it. She wants to save it for Daddy for Christmas. What a cool idea for a field trip. I guess Home Depot has some kind of workshops for kids on the weekends. I am going to have to look into it so I can take her one day and have her build something else.

Many women like to lay out in the sun and get a nice tan. In the past, I have used the fake and bake method by using

Many people want to get a college education but don't know where to start. Sometimes you don't know which school you want to go to, so you won't end up going to college at all. I have been to a few different colleges after I graduated from high school. What is cool today is the fact that you can take online courses from the comfort of your own home. Having a family, I don't see myself attending an college at a campus until my kids are all busy at school. I do think I might want to do some online courses on various computer skills I want to learn and improve. Since I am a web designer, the technology is constantly advancing, so there is always new things to be learned. The more you learn, the more you can make these days. With the economy the way it has been lately, acquiring more skills might be just the thing you want to do to secure your future financially.

When I first bought my house, I did not like the carpet that was in the house. My husband thought it was a good idea to have tile installed throughout the house. So we go to Home Depot and buy the tile to cover almost the whole house. We have a friend that installs tile for a living, so he was going to do the labor. I wanted this granite looking tile, but they wanted almost $3 per tile for the kind I wanted. My husband said that the tile I picked out was going to be way to expensive with how much we were going to buy. His choice was some black tile that was under a dollar per tile. Okay, black tile shows everything. You have to literally sweep and mop a couple times a day to keep it clean. This is having a family of six though.
I have worked around this by buying large
area rugs to cover the living room and dining area. For others that want to go with
rugs to cover their tile, you can find

I have thought over the last few years about moving to a different state. I am currently in California and have been here my whole life. I know that the costs of living here in this state are much more expensive than other states. Many choose to live here because of the jobs and the income you can make. Well, my income is going to be the same wherever I live because I work from home. I can move to whatever state I want to live in and make the same amount of money. I stay here right now because my family is here. Someday, I want to venture out and move somewhere back East where things are a little cheaper.

I am really getting annoyed with the spammer lately. Not only do they send me tons of unwanted emails, they try to spam my blogs with nasty comments. On one of my other blogs, I have a plugin to prevent these types of comments but they are seeming to get through. Last night I had a blast! I have went to one Sacramento King's game before, but when I was really young. Last night I went with my husband and a few friends and had so much fun. Not only did we have really good seats, the game was one of those games that had you in your seats. They played the Phoenix Suns and were at a tie. The game went into overtime. Right at the last couple seconds, the Phoenix Suns scored and won the game. What was really cool was we were on TV! I was dancing with my friend and seen myself up on the big monitor. My husband yelled so much, he can barely talk today! I am now looking forward to going again.

Have you ever been stuck at home? I was stuck at home yesterday for most of the morning and afternoon because of construction. In my neighborhood, they are putting in new water lines or something so they can meter the water being used. We did not get no notice, but woke up to lots of noise outside my house. A big ditch was made all the way across my house, so I was not able to back my SUV out of the driveway. I could have left if I wanted to walk, but I just stayed at home. Luckily, they were done in the evening when I had to leave to go somewhere. I think we should have got some kind of warning though.

If you live in the Orlando area, you will want to check out the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas of 2008 at the Magic Kingdom Park. This will be something that you can bring your family too that they will never forget. This party is held during November and December. The park is decorated for the holidays and is ready for your family to have some fun. During this party they have a parade, pretty lights, fireworks, special holiday treats and so much more. The best part that you will enjoy is the snowflakes in the air during the party. How cool is that!
If you have ever been to Disneyland, you can imagine how much more fun this will be during these special holiday times. I went to Disneyland in Los Angeles when I was a little kid and remember it to this day. If you are interested in going, check out the
