Yesterday my son was already 1 month old. I can't believe how fast that month went by. I wish my pregnancy would have went by as fast. I took my son to my Nana's house last night since she hadn't seen him since I was in the hospital. I didn't tell her me and the kids were coming so she got a nice surprise. My son also got his first Taco Bell visit yesterday although he didn't get to try anything. He was awake the whole time we were there though just staring and looking around. I hope the next 11 months goes a little slower then this first one.

I have been thinking lately of what it would be like to live somewhere else besides California. I have lived here my whole life and have only traveled to a few other states (Nevada, Oregon, and Washington). I have heard and read that living in California is quite high. I have seen that if I was to live say in a state in the East such as Arkansas, it may be a bit cheaper to live than here in California. With the equity I have in my house, if I was to sell it, I could probably move back East and buy a house outright and not have a mortgage. I would also have lots of money in the bank. I found a website that lets you search for
homes for sale all over the United States called The Real Estate Book. You can search for homes, agents and even international properties. For example, if I was looking for

I used to be known to always have a camera taking pictures. Since the digital cameras came into play, I don't use a regular camera much anymore. I did recently use a few disposables though when I was just at the hospital having my son. See, I have a really nice digital camera but am missing two of the essential cords that I need. I lost the cord that goes to the battery charger as well as the USB cord for the camera to plug into my computer. So a couple nights ago, I finally broke down and found what I needed on Ebay and bought them. So as soon as they both come, I will be taking many pictures of my new son!

I mentioned this on my other blog today but thought I would share it here too! I was checking my Google Adsense stats and noticed my earnings and such were about 3 times what they normally are for a day. I then got an email asking if my site was on the Today Show today. I checked and I wasn't on the Today Show, but there was an episode with a stay at home mom talking about working from home. I checked my webstats and a certain keyword search today was sending me about double the traffic than I normally receive. So my site wasn't mentioned or anything on the show but it caused people to start searching for work at home terms today! I looked and my site has a #1 position for a great keyword.

I used to be able to post many blog posts a day on each of my blogs. Since the baby has been home I am lucky to even get in 1 post per day. Have you seen blogs that have a plugin for readers to leave money tips? I have installed one type of Paypal donation plugin on one of my blogs but I found something a little more interesting. I was reading a friend's blog and she blogged about a new plugin called ScratchBack. It is free to join and it creates a widget that people can add their links for a fee. Okay, my little one is growing so darn fast. Seems like I just posted about going to the hospital and in 7 days, he is going to be 1 month old. Luckily I work from home and spend most of my time with him while he is growing. Baby Christopher is starting to sleep longer through the night, wohoo! He is also holding up his head to look up at me. He is so cute! I am not sure if he has gained any weight. His last appointment he was at 7lbs 15oz which was about a week ago. It's funny how I wanted the days to go by so fast when I was pregnant. Now I want them to go SLOW. I will keep you posted!

Tonight I am making sloppy joes for dinner. I know its an easy meal and easy is good for me right now. Just curious if you prefer making sloppy joes with the can sauce or using the packet of seasonings? Or maybe you make everything from scratch! I would love to hear how you like them.
I am one that stresses about money. I never seem to have enough, LOL. I like to spend money when I have it but am also the bargain shopper too! I don't like to waste money say on groceries if I don't have too. I am glad that I am a home owner too. I bought my first house a year and a half ago and have been glad I was able to do it. Since I was 18 and moved out on my own, I was always paying someone else's mortgage. I am going to appreciate the tax writeoffs when filing my taxes this year. I was thinking that I might owe, but hopefully will come in even or maybe a possible refund, who knows. For those that rent, have you thought about purchasing your own home? I used to think it was really HARD to purchase a house, but when I purchased mine, it was a lot simpler than I expected. Even though I hate paying for my own repairs when something breaks, I like the fact that I own it and not paying rent. You can even get a home loan if your credit is not so good. Often when searching for answers online, I get links to the Yahoo Answers in my results. I will normally visit these but wonder today if you can really get decent help. Today I was looking at how long it takes for breastmilk to dry up when you are not breastfeeding. A

You never know how much time there is in a day until you have a newborn. Before my son was born 2 weeks ago, I was caught up with my work. Now I am behind but that is because I have barely been online the last couple weeks. He was born on Jan 28 and I haven't had a full day back to work yet. Just pop online here and there. Well, I had my baby boy! I had him on January 28, 2008 at 1:32pm. I named him Christopher Michael and he weighed 8.2lbs and was 20" inches long. Not to brag, but he is so darn cute. His dad and I were praying for a healthy baby with 10 toes and 10 fingers. We got that and a cutie. I stayed in the hospital for 3 nights and basically have been taking it easy the last week and a half since I have been home. I have been online here and there but haven't got much work done. I have been too busy enjoying my new bundle of joy!

As a child, I always liked to visit the rodeo. During the month of July, my mom would take me to see a fireworks display that took place after the rodeo. I also always liked watching tv shows about different rodeos. For those that are fans of the rodeo, have you heard of National Finals Rodeo? This rodeo event is held each year in the first full week of December in Las Vegas Nevada at the University of Nevada. It is organized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and lasts for 10 days! The National Finals Rodeo is also known as NFR or the World Series of Rodeo or Super Bowl of Rodeo.
If I lived closer to Las Vegas I would definitely take the family to this event. For those in the area or that like to travel, this is an event you will want to put on your calendars. I guess they used to host this rodeo even in Oklahoma City for 20 years but it was changed to Las Vegas in 1985. Las Vegas is closer to me than Oklahoma City though!
