Today is December 28. In one month I will be at the hospital having my c-section. As the days get closer, I am getting more scared. Yes, I have had 2 c-sections in the past, but that doesn't mean I am not afraid. Any type of surgery scares me. Shoot, the dentist even scares me. I know that after it is all said and done with, it will be worth it. I think I have almost everything I need for the baby but diapers. I haven't bought any yet but will probably tomorrow when I go shopping at Walmart. I am going to buy Huggies as I believe they are the best!

I had a great Christmas. I only got online once on Christmas day for just a few minutes. It was nice to finally get away from the computer and spend time with family. I was going to make a turkey or ham dinner but we decided to do something different. We BBQ'd hamburgers and hot dogs on our brand new Weber BBQ. It was kind of windy so the burgers got a little flamed broiled but they were still good! I spent most of yesterday just lounging around the house hanging out with the kids. They were so excited with the gifts we brought them. Hannah was super excited that Santa brought her a Dora kitchen that she was asking for over and over. I am glad that the spending part of the holidays is now over! How about you?

Christmas is usually crazy around my house. Having two children with other parents can get kind of wacky around the holidays. We thought that Ariyona would be spending this Christmas with her dad and Hailey would spend it with her mom but we are actually going to have all three of our daughters here together. I am too excited. I had to go out this morning and do some extra shopping. Santa will be coming here for all of them this year! I am tickled pink to have my whole family together. I am one that hates to waste money. Many times when I buy fruit or vegetables they end up going bad because I don't use them fast enough. Tonight I came across Debbie Myer Green Bags. These are also advertised on TV. When you store your fruit and vegetables in these special

So what are you leaving for Santa this year? I normally make Christmas cookies each year to give as gifts and save an extra few just for Santa. He usually gets some milk too! I have heard online that some will be leaving coffee and oreas and hot cocoa and whatever else you have around your house?

On your resume, there is a good chance that you will list references. These references can typically come in two different formats. These formats are personal references and professional references. You will find that many employers actually like to see a combination of them both. Also, on average, most hiring companies like to see at least three references on their job applications and resumes.
Now that you know what many companies look for, in terms of references on a resume, you may want to start listing your references right away. While this approach is one that you can take, you may want to proceed with caution. As previously stated, one of the many mistakes that resume writers make involves their references. Some of the most common mistakes, as well as ways to prevent those mistakes from happening, are outlined below for your convenience.
One of the biggest mistakes that a job seeker, possibly just like you, makes involves listing no references at all. If you are simply submitting your resume, you may be able to get away without having any references listed, but you may not want to take any chances. If you are currently still lining up your references, you may want to have the phrases “references available upon request,” under the heading of references on your resume. Should you fill out a job application and are asked to provide references, you will want to do so. Omitting information on a job application may cause your application to be overlooked.
Another mistake that many job seekers make, in terms of their resume references, is not asking to use a reference in the first place. In almost all cases, you will find that your references are checked. That is why it is important that you ask each individual that you would like to have listed on a resume or a job application before officially listing them as a reference. If you have already submitted your job application and resume, without asking first, you will want to let each individual know, as soon as possible, that you used them as a job reference and that they may be receiving a phone call. This is important, as you do not want your references to be caught off guard, as it may impact their responses.
As previously stated, most companies like to see a combination of professional and personal references on their job applications and on all submitted resumes. This is a mistake that many job seekers also make and one that you will want to not make. For that reason, you may want to consider listing four references on your job applications or resumes. This would allow you to have an even number of personal references and professional references.
The above mentioned mistakes are common mistakes that many job seekers make when writing a resume for themselves. By keeping these common mistakes in mind, you can ensure that you do not make similar ones. This should automatically improve your chances of landing the job of your dreams or at least a job interview.

I am a very proud mom today! My daughter brought home this note from the teacher a few days ago that notified me that Ariyona was going to be student of the month today. They announce them at the assembly's every month. They pick 4 children from each class. This month it was for acceptance! She is so happy! This year I bought some LED Christmas lights for the tree after reading about the benefits of using them over the traditional lights. They save energy and give off less heat so that is good enough for me. I am always trying to save money and like to leave the lights on my tree on almost 24 hours, so why not save. A blog is an easy way for me to add content to my websites. With my website Mommy Enterprises, I use a program called Dreamweaver to update most of my pages on the site, except this blog. I have been wanting a way to add articles to the site without the time consuming process of going through Dreamweaver. Since I am a huge fan of blogging, I might just add articles via a Wordpress blog. This blog here uses the Blogger platform so I might just have to go with Wordpress. I like both of them, but Wordpress does have more features in my opinion.

Have you heard of the Avian Flu virus? I knew nothing about it until today. I guess it is also called the
Bird Flu and is deadly. I was reading online that there are already 321 known infections and over 200 people are confirmed dead from this deadly virus. I love the snow! Unfortunately it doesn't come to me, I have to travel to see it. About five years ago I got into snowboarding. I tried skiing before and thought it was fun, but find snowboarding to be a blast. My first time down the slope on a board I was laughing so hard and falling at the same time. I can't believe it is almost the middle of December. Time is really flying by and I am actually thankful for that. I will be having my son next month and I am really looking forward to not being pregnant anymore. I think I have another 46 days left if I am remembering right. I was counting the days down last week. I set my C-section date for January 28, 2008. I will be in the hospital about 3 days, I think that will be the longest I went without being online since Hannah was born in 2004.

Almost everyone needs or wants more money coming in, and with this desire most would like to start some sort of extra income producing project. The trouble is, not many of these people seem able to fit "a second job" into their time schedules.
It's true that most people are busy, but extra time for some sort of home-based extra income producing project can almost always be found. It may mean giving up or changing a few of your favorite pastimes--such as having a couple of beers with the guys or watching TV--but if you score big with your extra income project, you will have all the time you want for doing whatever you what to do.
Efficient time management boils down to planning what you're going to do, and then doing it without backtracking. Start by making a list of the things you want to do tomorrow, each evening before you go to bed. Schedule your trips to the store or wherever to coincide with the other things you have to do, and with your trips to or from work. Organize your trips to take care of as many things as possible while you're out of the house. take stock of the time you spend on the telephone---and eliminate all that isn't necessary.
Whatever chores you have to do at home, set aside a specific time to do them, and a specific amount of time to devote to them. For instances, just one hour a day devoted to yard work would probably make your property the envy of all your neighbors. Don't try to do a week's work in one big flurry. Whether it's painting your house, fixing leaky faucets, or mowing your lawn and trimming your shrubs, do a part of it, or one particular job each day, and you'll be amazed at your progress.
Take care of all your mail the day, you receive it. Don't let those bills and letters pile up on you. If you're unable to pay a bill immediately, file it in a special place that's visible, and note on the envelope the date you intend to pay it. Answer your letters the same day you get them.
Once you start listing and planning what to do, and then carry out your plans, you'll find plenty of "extra time" for handling virtually any kind of home-based income producing project. People in general may not like routines or schedules, but without some sort of plan as to what is supposed to be done, the world would be mired in mass confusion. Laws, ordinances and regulations are for the purpose of guiding people. We live according to an accepted plan or way of life, and the better we can organize ourselves, the more productive and happy we become.
The secret of all financially successful people is simply that they are organized and do not waste time. Think about it. Review your own activities, and then see if you can't find a couple of extra hours in each day for more constructive accomplishments.
When you begin planning, and then when you really become involved in an extra income producing endeavor, you should work it exactly as you have organized your regular day-to-day activities---on a time basis. Do what has to be done immediately. Don't try to get done in a hour something that's realistically going to take a week. Plan out on paper what you have to do--what you want to do--and when you are going to do it. Then get right on each project without procrastination.
Finally, and above all else, when you're organizing your time and your business, be sure to set aside some time for relaxation. Be sure to schedule time when you and your spouse can be together. You must not involve yourself to an extent that you exclude other people--particularly your loved ones--from your life.
Taking stock of the time you waste each day, and from there, reorganizing your activities is what it's all about. It's a matter of becoming more efficient in the use of your time.
