A couple nights ago we went to the Christmas tree lot and picked probably one of the nicest trees there. It reaches our ceiling and is flocked. We have gotten the same type of tree the last few years and we always get compliments. All three of my daughters decorated it and I had Christmas music going to set the mood. I have lots of presents to wrap too but that is going to wait.

Yes, I have started my Christmas shopping. I did go out on Black Friday and bought a few things but the majority of the items I have bought have been online. I have made sure I saved as much money as I could too by looking for coupon codes. I used

On Black Friday we went to the mall to buy a couple things and see what specials were going on . To our surprise there was Santa already there with no line. We just had Hannah with us and asked her if she would sit on Santa's lap. She said yes in a cute little voice. She was shy at first but asked Santa for the Dora Explorer kitchen. It was her first time on Santa's lap too! We got a special picture package too because we were #89 out of the first 150 to see him.
What is crazy is Hannah already has a Little Tykes kitchen we bought for her birthday last year. She must just end up with two kitchens in her bedroom. It is the only thing she is asking for.

Want to have some fun with your kids today? If you got some crafts supplied laying around and some ballons, you can make yourself a Turkey Balloon! The kids will love this!
CRAFT MATERIALS:
2 round red balloons
1 oblong yellow balloon
Scissors and cardboard
Masking tape
Acrylic paint and brushes
Time needed: Under 1 Hour
1. Blow up a red balloon and knot off the end to form the turkey's body.
2. To make the head, blow up the yellow balloon about halfway so that there's an uninflated "nose" at one end, then knot off the balloon. Tie an uninflated red balloon to the nose to make the turkey's wattle.
3. Attach the knotted-off ends of the body and the head together by wrapping a rubber band around them.
4. Cut the feet out of one piece of cardboard and attach them to the bottom of the turkey with masking tape. Now your child can dress up her bird, painting on a face and feathers.
5. After they make a few turkey balloons, kids can hold a race to see who can bop theirs across the room first. The winner gets the real turkey's wishbone.

I just got done eating some yummy chinese food. I haven't ordered in a while and was craving sweet and sour chicken so I ordered some for delivery. Do you have a monthly mortgage payment? I have one but am happy to have a mortgage of my own rather then paying a landlord's mortgage. The interest rates seem to be always rising too and I am glad that I bought my house when I did. Many are not able to pay their

So my kids have this whole week off for Thanksgiving vacation. There vacation actually started this past Friday. Then when they return to school next week, it is all minimum days for teacher conferences. I remember when I only got 2 days off for Thanksgiving, not over a week. Christmas is coming real soon, just next month. That means it is going to be time to starting putting up those Christmas lights around your house to make it festive. I always end up buying new lights each year and this year I want to buy some LED
Christmas lights instead of the regular ones I usually buy. I have been reading about the LED lights and they are a better choice than using the regular lights that everyone buys every year at this time. The LED lights only use 1/10th of the energy of the old style bulbs and will last more than 50,000 hours compared to 2,000 hours for standard incandescent lights. These lights also create less heat so they are less of a hazard than your standard lights. What do you think about them?

For quite some time I have wanted to buy one of those travel baby wipe cases that are decorated. I looked on Ebay and seen they go for about $9-$15. I then seen instructions on Ebay on how to make them so I decided to buy the instructions. Yesterday I sat down and made two of them and am thrilled on how easy they are to make. I am actually going to make a few for Christmas gifts now and am thinking of selling some on Ebay too once I get the hang of it.

Now how does a folder with thousands of emails disappear to? I am missing one of the most important emails ever in my inbox. I had this once happen before but found it in another folder. This time I can't find it. Luckily I have a program that backed up my information 3 days ago. I will be able to recover most of that folder but will be missing any emails I put in that folder for the last 3 days. I just want to cry. I don't even know where to begin to restore just that folder of emails.

I ordered a very cute bassinet today from Fingerhut. With my other two children, I used a wood cradle but never owned a bassinet. Since I gave away the cradle, it was now my time to buy a white bassinet like I have wanted to always use. I have always loved grandfather clocks and the style they can bring to your home. I also love to the sounds that they make when they

I wish I could have got the clock my great grandparents owned when they passed away, but my aunt was quick to grab it because she had wanted to own it for years too because it had sentimental value of her.

Now the prices may be affordable for some, but not all. It definitely sets the home off! Until today, I didn't know that Bulova made grandfather clocks too! If I was to buy one I would put it in my living room where everyone could see and hear it when they come over. I would want to show it off as much as I could.

I am lucky to have someone give me a TON of cute brand name maternity clothes when I first found out I was pregnant. I haven't had to buy anything and that was a huge help this time around. I am going to save the money for clothes for after I have the baby. I didn't think I was having any more babies so I got rid of all the maternity clothes I had saved over the years. Back in June, we gave our white pit bull named Murdock to a family member. He had climbed up on the top of our truck and really did a number to the paint job. We were upset and a family member offered to take him off our hands. It has been 5 months and we have regretted giving him away even though he was with family. This morning I was supposed to have an appointment for a root canal. I got up, got ready and was there 15 minutes early to find out that my appointment had been canceled. I have been waiting for this appointment over 6 months too. In April I think, I had really bad tooth pain and went to the dentist. They took x-rays and advised me I needed to have a root canal. They gave me some antibiotics and pain medication and sent me on my way. They told me to come back in 1 week for an emergency appointment. I did as I was told and came back in 1 week. They then tell me they don't do emergency root canal appointments. I was then mad and they scheduled me for a root canal in August, months later. I then called in August to confirm my Aug 20 appointment to be told it had been re-scheduled to Nov 14, 2007. That was today! When I go in today, they inform me the dentist that does root canals won't be in the office for 2 months and there is nothing they can do for me. To call and discuss re-scheduling.
Who is this dentist? It is Access Dental in Sacramento California. I think it is time to find someone else to take care of my family's teeth.

Have you ever bought clothes on Ebay? Today, I bought 2 "lots" of baby boy clothes for a very cheap price. If you haven't heard of a "lot", it is a group of items instead of just one. These are not new clothes but babies don't wear the newborn clothes very long anyhow. I can't wait to receive them to add to my collection of clothes I have already bought.
