Went Shopping For Baby Stuff Today

I have only 3 months of being pregnant left before my baby boy is here. I haven't really bought much yet and decided today I would go to Walmart and get some baby stuff. I bought some onsies, clothes, jacket and a calendar to keep track of his first year. I still need to buy a crib because we gave ours away when I thought I wasn't having anymore babies. It is definitely neat buying boy stuff as I have been buying everything girly for the last 11 years. About time a baby boy is here in our family. I remember when I was pregnant with my first daughter, I bought stuff the whole time. Now that I have experience, I am just going to buy what "he needs".

Working On A New Web 2.0 Website

I am enjoying doing the Static Blogging course I bought a few days ago. I have actually spent most of the weekend getting through half of the course. The Static Blogging course comes with both a video and a written tutorial, so I am actually working through both of them. I am trying to learn each step that way I can duplicate what I am doing with the next website with ease.

I am about halfway through the course and noticed my pages are not publishing. So right now I have took a break from the course to figure out what is going on before I move any farther. So, with that I am writing this post.

Heard Of Static Blogging

Have you heard the term Web 2.0. I have heard it many times lately and needed to find out for myself what I was missing out on. Well, turns out I haven't really been missing out as I have been creating Wordpress sites for over a year now. Last night I purchased the Static Blogging course. Now these are not just regular blogs, it will show you how to create a more "website" looking website rather then it looking like a blog. I Was The Chef Tonight!

Work At Home Moms Need A Vacation Too!

Even though I work from home, I still need to take a vacation every now and then. It is fun to go someplace with the family and take a break from the internet and work. I do take my laptop when I leave though, it has become my security blanket. I was looking online and seen some great oregon vacation rentals available. Now Oregon is only a state away from me. I am in Northern California and Oregon I think is about 11 hours away, maybe a few hours more. I have been to Oregon only a couple times in my life. About 12 years ago I went there for a car show. I do like the state though, very beautiful.

Back to the vacations in Oregon. Instead of renting a hotel room, you can rent some pretty awesome vacation homes. Some of these homes hold quite a few amount of guests too! For example, the Celestial By The Sea notes online it can hold up to 15 guests. Now this is a place you can take ALL your family and be comfortable. These homes have garages, laundry facilities. These are great for family vacations, honeymoons, romantic getaways, etc. If I had the money, I would rather go this route then renting a small cramped hotel room.

Site Addition Coming Soon

I have finally decided to put a domain to use that I bought a year and a half ago. I bought the domain www.MommyPLR.com with the intent to create PLR content for mommy related websites. I have not had the time to write the content for the site nor hire someone to do it for me. I think I am going to start the site as a resource site for those looking for mommy related PLR content. Once the site is launched, I then can start on working on content to sell on the site as well.

How do I start using RSS?
There are two things needed: an RSS feed and an RSS aggregator or reader. The RSS feed comes from an RSS-supported website. There are also websites that provide a list of RSS feeds of different websites. An RSS aggregator is used to read the RSS feed from the source website. It scans and collects data on latest RSS feeds from the worldwide web.

An aggregator comes in two forms: a downloadable program also known as desktop aggregator and an online or web-based aggregator. Downloadable aggregators may require payment before they can be acquired, while internet-based aggregators are usually free of charge. All you need to do is to register an account then you are ready to use their services. Both versions allow you to customize or choose which RSS feeds to enter. 1. Choose an RSS aggregator to use. For beginners, web-based aggregators are recommended since they are usually user-friendly

Raising Chickens In The City

Okay so I live in the city, I guess you could call it a suburban neighborhood. Many here don't have farm animals but we have 2 hens and a rooster. Chris brought them home about a week ago and they are now our new family pets. My daughter Hannah is outside feeding them some chips right now in our back yard. The funniest thing I have seen is that they sleep in our trees. You should see them try to get in the trees. We aren't the only ones with chickens for pets though, we got them from some friends who have a backyard full of them. I will have to take some pictures to share soon.
