Have You Heard Of Thoof?

So you have heard of the social bookmarking sites such as Digg right? Now there is another site created by 10 computer scientists that has hopes of being better than the rest. Thoof is a fairly new "personalized news" website generated by its users. Thoof has created an algorithm that will begin givin their users relevant news articles as soon as they begin using the service. The site automatically personalizes the articles shown to users and users can collaboratively edit the articles by changing headlines and even substituting links to better the article. The Thoof community will vote on the changes submitted.

When you submit a story to Thoof you will a special badge to the story you submitted. You then can post the badge in your blog entries or somewhere on your website. This badge will show how popular your story is on the Thoof website. This will be a great way to generate more free traffic to your websites.

Signing up is Thoof is FREE. When you signup you will get a bunch of news on your main page. You can choose which news you want to read and save it to a personalized page. You can also choose to delete certain news that will not show up again on your page.

Free samples, contests and more!

I have been working on a new forum the last couple months that is all about FREE Stuff! I love things that are FREE. Some say nothing in life is free but I know different. There are thousands of things you can get online FREE! These free things may not have much value but it is fun for me when they arrive in my mailbox each day.

Almost every day that I am online I sign up for free offers of some sort. I am not that into contests but do participate in them on occasion. I like knowing I am going to get something. When I did get into online sweepstakes I did win a few things also. I remember my first win was a case of english muffins, what a surprise that was when they arrived at my door. Anyhow, signing up for things I can receive free is one of my most favorite hobbies.

In the past I have created freebie sites and didn't do much with them. Free offers come and go every day and its hard to keep up with them on a regular website. I have since created a forum where I can login to each day and post the freebies I find. Others can join my forum and reply to my posts or even make your own posts. I have also been trying to post when I receive the freebie in the mail.
