When I first started this blog I mentioned a program you could create another stream of income with. This program is called the
$2 Empire. You pay under $5.00 to join which gives you access to download lots of software & ebooks, over a $5,000 value. You also are given a replica website so you can make money with the
$2 Empire as well.
When I joined the $2 Empire a couple months ago I was satisfied with just the ebooks that I was able to download. I also put a couple links up to my
$2 Empire website on my websites as well as added it to my signature line in my emails.
As of today I have received 46 signups. You receive $2.97 per signup from your website. So do the math $2.97 X 46 = $136.62. Wow, thats a great profit from an investment that cost me under $5.
I am not getting rich off this program but I can say it has given me some extra spending money.

I have read about 18 pages of Perry Marshall's "
The Definitive Guide to Google AdWords". I have also read his quick start guide. I plugged in a few of his techniques the same day I bouhgt my copy and made my first sale later that evening. So far I am very impressed with Perry's guide. I need to go get some ink for my printer though so I can print myself some of the pages to read and keep for future reference.
About my ad campaign, the last two days my impressions and clickthroughs have practically doubled but no sales yet. I am working on split testing my ads right now to find out which of my two ads is the best. I am looking forward to SALE #2.
I also started a new campaign a few minutes ago. I found an affiliate program that Overture shows 326 searches for August 2004 and Google has no Adword ads for this keyword of this product. Even if this turns out to be a very slow campaign, a few sales a month would be nice.
I am looking to create a few successful Adwords campaigns that will bring in some extra $$ every month.

I just bought a copy of Perry Marshall's "
The Definitive Guide to Google AdWords" earlier today. I read a section of the Fast Start Guide that is included with the guide and made a few minor changes to my ad campaign that Perry mentions in his guide. We then went out to eat dinner, helped the kids with their homework and the kids are off to take a bath.
As the couple hours has been passing since I have made the changes to my campaign I am eager to login and check my Adwords campaign. I decided to check my email first. To my SHOCK is my first SALE !!! I am so excited, thrilled, jazzled! I can honestly say im dancing in my seat. And this is the only beginning of many more sales to go. I only made some minor changes to my ad campaign, let a few hours pass by and come back to my FIRST sale and some improvement on my ad campaign. I received more impressions and clickthroughs too!
I can say, I am impressed! Thumbs up Perry!

I have been playing with Google Adwords for the last month or so I have successfully learned how to get targeted traffic to my site. I want to make an extra income though promoting affiliate programs with Adword though, this I have not had no success with. I have a couple ad campaigns going that I would like to learn how to turn into profit.
So I have finally done it, I have purchased my own copy of "
The Definitive Guide to Google AdWords". I just purchased it just minutes ago so I will keep you updated on my thoughts, progress, success, failure, etc.

Does everyone have a section on their website that offers banners or text links for those wanting to link to you or exchange links?
Well I have always had such a section on
Mommy Enterprises but never added
one to Mommy Portal. So last week I had someone create a cute banner for
me for Mommy Portal. I already had a couple button images.
I now have created a section called "
Link to Mommy Portal" which has my
banner, button and text links. I have a section called
Mommy Portal's Friends.
This is my current link exchange page on this site. To get listed as one of
Mommy Portal's Friends you must provide a link back to
Mommy Portal. I will only accept sites that
are related to
Mommy Portal.

I haven't been online as much as normal because I am extremely exhausted. Trying to keep of with a family of 5 that includes a normal can get overwhelming. So I have been trying to take it easy for a couple days.
I have been working on revamping the
WAHM Directory on
Mommy Portal. This is a directory of various WAHM sites to advertise your products and services. There is a very small fee of $10.00 per year or your listing. I am thinking of doing some sort of fundraiser that will involve a portion of the $10.00 go to the American Red Cross. Any comments??. So before I do that, I want to make sure all the current links and images are working. Also making sure I have at least one Google Adsense ad somewhere on the page.
I also am in the process of creating a
Mommy Enterprises ToolBar for your browser. Hopefully I will have it done and online for download by the end of the weekend.

Well I am so exhausted lately. Having a newborn and trying to maintain the family and all my websites is draining me. What I think I need is some rest with no interuptions.
I am hoping to get some rest this weekend.
I have been working on my new blog today and tweaking my PPC campaigns with Adwords. I am down determined to find the way to make lots of $$.
Well I am off for now, my hand/wrist has been hurting too the last couple weeks and isn't getting any better. I might just have to call the doctor to get me a brace for my wrist or something. I just am scared of them telling me to stay off the computer, LOL.

Yeah!!! I am at almost 5000 points with MyPoints. I have been saving all my points to use it towards a giftcard at Target. I am going to use it for something for my baby. I still got quite a few things I need like a stroller, swing, etc. So cashing in my points is going to give me a good down payment on that stroller I want at Target!

Well I got to admit it, PPC advertising with Adwords is very addicting. I am trying to find some streams of income (Affiliate Money Makers) with advertising some affiliate programs with Google's Adwords.
I have setup a few campaigns and have been trying to tweak them as I learn how to, haha. I also did a few of the demos today that Google offers in the help section of their help. I'm trying to get all the free online help I can get, then splurge for either Perry Marshall's "
The Definitive Guide to Google AdWords" or Chris Carpenter's "
Google Cash". I will probably get them both in the near future as I have heard great things about each but which one I am going to get first is beyond me.
I also wish I could give Lynn Terry from
Self Starters Weekly a big hug. I frequent her awesome forum daily and she has been giving me some great tips to try to increase my revenue with Adwords. Hugs to you Lynn Terry!
P.S. I have started a 2nd blog. I am going to wait a few days before I give you the details on it.

I found something pretty neat today for selling ad space on your website.
You signup for an account with
Market Banker. You then will be asked what you would like to charge for the space as well as the size of the ad.
I setup my first ad zone today at $5.00 per week for a front page ad on
Mommy Enterprises under Sponsor Links. To view
Market Banker in action go to
Mommy Enterprises and look at the bottom right hand corner.
So if you have some space on your website you are willing to sell, setup an account, it's free. They do have a 25% fee once you sell ad space.
Oh, and when someone goes to purchase ad space, you have the option to accept or deny it. I think this is pretty neat.
I haven't looked at it deep into detail but I believe your space is included in a directory on the site as well.

Well it's me. I have been busy building up keyword lists to try to drive more targed traffic to
Momy Enterprises and my newsletter "
The Making Money Newsletter For Moms".
You know, I am new to this whole pay per click engine stuff but it seems pretty addicting. I started to place a few campaigns but figured I should spend some hours building up some super big keyword lists. Gotta get down as many of those good keywords as I can.
My goal is to be in the top ten listings for my keywords of choice on Google. I am also trying to build my subscriber list for my newsletter. The more subscribers, the more moms are learning about how they can work from home. I have quite a few subscribers that are already work at home moms that enjoy the resources I offer as well. Well I am going to cut this short today, it's been a long day, went to the 49er and Falcons football game today in San Francisco. It was my first football game, pretty cool too. I enjoyed my day!

Hello again,
Well it's been a long couple days. There is a ton going on at home with the kids being in school and having a newborn. Now that I dropped off the last one off at school I thought I would get in a few sentences about what has been going on at Mommy Enterprises.
Currently I am working on adding a site map to Mommy Enterprises. I didn't know a whole lot about site maps until a couple days ago when I decided to start working on one.
What is a site map? A site map is a webpage or webpages that map out your site. These maps are used by visitors as well as robots (search engines). A site map will help your visitors find everything at your site as well as allow the search engines to find and spider all the pages of your site.
