I am one of those Box Top clipping moms. I have been clipping and saving Box Tops for years. I make sure that we never throw away anything that has a Box Top on it. I was happy to hear recently that clipping Box Tops has raised over $300 million for our children's schools. My children are rewarded by the librarian at their school with pencils, stickers, etc. when they turn in box tops. My daughter Hannah who is now in kindergarten just turned in her first batch of Box Tops a couple weeks ago and was so thrilled when the librarian gave her a Tinkerbell bookmark, pencil and eraser. I am not sure what other schools do, but this is a little incentive for the kids to turn them in.

We've been doing the BTFE thing for over 7 years now. Elementary school teachers gave small goodies for them and the PTA gave pizza parties to the class in each grade who brought in the most. In middles school, teachers give a homework pass. Thanks

I'm currently saving them for a friend in PA - her daughter's school is saving for playground equipment.
I save them and give them to my neigbhor, my kids are not school age yet. I just hate to throw them away. shell walsh 1@ gmail. com
Due to the cuts at my child's school, they use the BTFE money to but trivial things such as light bulbs, toliet paper, art supplies, etc.

Unfortunately, homeschoolers can't directly benefit from the Box Tops program. That would be a big help to us, since we save lots of them. But at least our support group can turn them in, and they use it for things like the Spelling Bee and Geography Bee.

When my children were in elementary school it was my job to collect, sort and send in the box tops. It was amazing how much equipment the school received from this seemingly small task on the part of the parents.
